Abstract: It is a tank (1) for liquids complete with base valve (23) with rapid opening and closure feature rendered operational by positioning on, or by lifting the tank (1) from the support cup (2) which connects with the discharge element (31), this support (3) being supported by the handle projection of the floor-washing appliance itself. This type of tank (1) and relative support cup (2) complete with discharge element (31) makes it possible to either replace or exchange the tank for others full of floor washing liquid.
Abstract: A foodstuff seed sorting endless belt conveyor apparatus for sorting out premium quality seeds from a seed mixture having both premium and inferior grade seeds on the basis of seed physical characteristics develops an orbital motion that is superimposed upon the normal longitudinal motion of the apparatus endless belt to thereby increase sorting selectivity, efficiency, and rates of product throughput.
Abstract: The present invention is essentially comprised of a pair of spaced-apart planar book support elements joined by a hinged spine support element that accommodates the book spine, a pair of book holder slope support elements that are each joined by a hinge to the top edge of a respective book support element, and a closed cord loop element that adjustably co-operates with the lower extremes of each book support element and each slope support element to controllably vary the slope of the planar book support elements during reading use.
Abstract: Elements of laminar bodies (1) made of metal or other material are disclosed, so shaped as to be inserted into straight undercut notches (3) made on plates and/or tiles (2). The laminar bodies (1) have such a sufficient length to protrude from straight undercut notches (3) and so shaped as to allow to be joined to each other or with another interposed body (9) through bolts (8) or the like or by means of joints, welding and the like, so as to form a single body (21) adapted to be anchored strongly to the plate and/or tile (2) allowing said plate to be safely and simply fixed to the structures supporting the facing (10).
Abstract: A rain gutter clean out device has a gutter section with a bottom wall opening and a slidable cover which in one position overlies the opening and in another position uncovers the opening to allow gutter debris to be removed there through.
Abstract: The invention relates to a headrest, particularly for a motor vehicle seat, comprising a cushion made from synthetic foam which houses an integrated support that can be used to fix two parallel anchor rods to the seat. According to the invention, the anchor rods are fitted with threaded shafts that extend at a right angle from the upper end of said rods. The threaded shafts are each screwed into one end of a housing body in the form of a cylindrical sleeve having a suitable internal threading. Tightening locknuts are used to lock the anchor rods in position on the cylindrical sleeve. Said cylindrical sleeve is fixed to a locking lug, which is disposed on the integrated support, by means of a stirrup piece which is associated with a screw-nut type tightening system.
Abstract: Apparatus for correcting the rotation of canted reticle cross hairs in the sighting scope of a firearm is disclosed and is comprised of a vertical reference sub-assembly and a separate firearm level sub-assembly which are utilized together to properly position and orient the firearm prior to rotation of the firearm sighting scope sufficiently to eliminate the included cant of the reticle system cross hairs.
Abstract: A trailer vehicle is provided with an audible alarm that is sounded when a removable activator pin in a electrical circuit is withdrawn as a consequence of initial rotation of a trailer vehicle roadway wheel during movement of the trailer vehicle from a parked condition.
Abstract: The present is basically comprised of a piece of polypropylene woven mesh cut to the size of the catch basin inlet opening grate, of a heavy-duty, partially-resilient rubber open frame member superimposed upon the woven mesh with peripheral butyl rubber adhesive strips, of peripheral butyl rubber adhesive strips secured to the underside of the woven mesh, and preferably a readily removable backing strip contacting the underside peripheral butyl rubber adhesive strip to avoid temporary and inadvertent adhering of the assembly in unwanted places.
Abstract: There is disclosed a continuous process for the formation of a superconducting wire utilizing magnesium diboride powder. The process provides a long length, low cost strand of superconducting wire which can be used in a monofilament or multifilament form.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an anchoring device for the covering (9) of a fabric boom on its associated support, which provides for extraction of the totality of the piece of fabric (9), including its extremities.
This extraction, accomplished by means of a roller extractor, is made possible by providing anchor studs (14) having an underlying recess and extending from the upper surface of the support (1-3), through the use of articulated lever-shaped connecting grips (5) on support (1-3) having an arm that exerts pressure on appendages (15) of the piece of fabric (9) without interfering with the heads of anchor studs (14), and lateral shoulders (13) on support (1-3) configured in such a way that they define between them a determinate space from which neither anchor studs (14) nor connecting grips (5) emerge.
Abstract: A wringing tool for mops having a box structure without a top cover or a bottom cover. Its top and bottom openings enable mops and their supports to pass through the tool for rinsing in a basin below the wringing tool. The oscillatory movement of the pressure roller is carried out by a control hand lever integral with an inner toothed gear which meshes with a gear placed on a shaft which is integral with oscillation levers supporting a pressure roller. The pressure roller works against a curved wall.
Abstract: A broom provided with a improved regulator for controlling the flow of floor cleaning and treatment products. This broom has a tubular appendage (29) provided on the bottom of a reservoir (3) for the discharge of liquid and has a removably coupler detachable (31) that is inserted between the tubular appendage (29) and the small flexible tube (5) that transports the liquid to the floor. All these elements are easily cleanable of incrustations and deposits that result from the use of dense or semi-dense fluids, such as floor waxes.
Abstract: In a double-pipe heat exchanger for cooling cracked gas, the double pipes are inserted in rows into oval pipe collectors (3), and several oval pipe collectors (3), arranged parallel to each other, are joined into a tight floor (5) which forms the upper cap of the gas entry cone. The floor (5) has a cylindrical flange collar (6) fastened to it, which is connected to a ring flange (9) attached to the gas entry cone. The gas entry cone is provided on the inside with a lining (11) whose inner contour (13) forms a central interior space (12) which widens in the direction of the floor (5). This lining (11) of the gas entry cone continues into the flange collar (6), and the inner contour (13) of the lining (11) continues all the way to the floor (5).
Abstract: The railroad trackwork switch assembly of the present invention is essentially comprised of a relatively fixed conventional stock rail, a conventional switch point relatively movable into and out of abutting engagement with the stock rail, a target magnetic field source array, a controller housing element affixed to the switch stock rail and containing a Hall-effect sensor array, and electrical/electronic circuitry interconnecting the invention Hall-effect sensor array element to a power source and to an external switch closure condition signal visual display.
