Abstract: A blotter having a flexible blotter backing and a rigid mount with two slanted slots. The ends of the backing are mounted at two opposite side edges into the mount slots along with the edges of the blotting material. Serrations along the edges of the backing are positioned within the mount slots and bear against the ends of the blotting material. The blotter material impacted edges and the inherent flexibility of the backing provide for the firm retention of the blotting material to the mount.
Abstract: A system for projecting images on an object with a reflective surface. A plurality of image projectors are spaced around the object and synchronized such that each projector projects an individual image whose union on the surface of the object forms a composite image. The composite image displayed totally covers the surface. The object may represent the Earth with the projected images representing topographical features of the Earth. If environmental satellite data, such as data from a Geostationary Orbiting Environmental Satellite System is used, real time weather conditions may be displayed on this Earth representation.

Abstract: An anchor formed of a hollow tube and pivotally attached wings with fluid pressure in the tube being used to expand the wings outwardly. A ring encircles the hollow tube and is attached to the outside surface of the hollow tube to allow for securement of cables to the anchor.
Abstract: A polution control device consisting of a kit with an emission plate placed between the carburetor or fuel mixture control assembly and the engine air intake manifold. The emission plate is directly connected to the engine PCV valve to receive unburned gases.
Abstract: A rehabilitation device having a shoulder brace with depending adjustable tensioning straps mounted to the shoulder brace on one end and to a hand mount on the other end.
Abstract: A cart and container assembly with wheels and a handle that is specifically designed to transport and hold recycle bins for recyclable materials.
Abstract: An animal trap designed to restrain a raccoon. The trap has a spring trigger on which the bait is placed and a double swivel anchor chain to hold the trap. A movable restraint bar actuated by the release of the trigger and an internal fixed grip bar hold the paw of the raccoon inside the housing.
Abstract: An electrode for the excision of tissue from the cervix. The electrode, at one end, has a fine wire which can be rotated 360 degrees and which can be varied depending on the size of the cervix and the size of the lesion. This enables a single instrument to remove lesions, instead of using different sized instruments.
Abstract: A portable hop scotch game board has a single game board of hop scotch on one side and on the opposite side of the same board a double game of hop scotch is laid out. There are also pockets, used for the scotch throwing piece, attached to the corners and pockets are provided over each numbered block.
Abstract: A method to detect the bright-band snow level from radar reflectivity and Doppler vertical velocity data collection with an atmospheric profiling Doppler radar. The measurement may be made available to the public through the Internet.

Abstract: A portable air conditioner which has a container for holding an air cooling medium, a lid for the container and a plurality of outlets in the lid which permit flexible conduits to connected to the output from the lid. In addition, a cart is disclosed for transporting the air conditioner which will keep the top and bottom of the container parallel in order to keep any liquid from melting ice from spilling.
Abstract: A portable baby carrier with a bed having sidewalls and two hoods which can be used alone or in conjunction with each other. Each hood is storable in a channel located in a sidewall of the carrier. The top hood extends to cover the infant's head and is made of a fabric material while the opposite end lower hood is made of a mesh net material. The mating facing edges of the two hoods zipper together to form a complete enclosure around the infant to protect the infant. Either hood may be used independent of the other.
Abstract: A locking assembly mounted to a first rigid member by a hinge on one end of the member. The locking assembly can be locked to the first member to retain a second rigid member by an extending pin. The locking assembly is locked in place on the first member by an extendable locking pin whose end can engage a stop post in the first member when pivoted to a locked position.
Abstract: A game that has a map of the contiguous U.S. with the players trying to construct roads at random locations between cities. Four cities on the map are selected at random, the first to construct roads between the cities wins the game using selected cards and overcoming other obstacles.
Abstract: A seal for a container. The seal is banana-shaped and is inserted over a container handle to make it impossible to move the handle without breaking the seal.
Abstract: A transition device for roadways having hardened steel metal edges and a fill material with a honeycomb structure and rebars adjacent the fill material.
Abstract: A computer process used to create a report to check a proposed project to insure conformity with existing standards. The software used utilizes a diagrammatic design program which allows creation of a model while checking compliance with the standard used in the proposed project. In the preferred embodiment example given, the method would first create a new project or open an existing project. Thereafter, the user would select a list of modules from rules algorithms for standards relating to the created or opened existing project. Next, the project would be designed by adding component parts and modifying their properties while maintaining compliance with the selected standards. Finally, a report, whether checklists, graphical layouts with dimensions or worksheets that enable the user to create a dimensioned graphical layout, would be created to demonstrate compliance with the selected standard.
