Abstract: An improved squeeze chute apparatus, which may be portable or stationary, includes a frame having an entrance end, an exit end, a first side, a second side, an upper end and a lower end. A first upstanding sidewall is positioned at the first side of the frame and a second upstanding sidewall is positioned at the second side of the frame. The sidewalls are movable between inner and outer positions with respect to the frame. First and second entrance gate members, which are movable between open and closed positions, are positioned at the entrance end of the frame. First and second exit gate members, which are movable between open and closed positions, are positioned at the exit end of the frame. The gate members and sidewalls are operated by hydraulic cylinders having resilient mounts at the base and rod ends thereof. Each of the gate members has two hydraulic cylinders connected thereto. Each of the sidewalls has four hydraulic cylinders connected thereto.

Abstract: An ornamental design of a make-up brush with a replaceable brush head includes a handle portion having an elongated central axis and a snap fastener. A first portion of the snap fastener is fastened to the handle portion and a second portion of the snap fastener is fastened to a replaceable head. A third portion of the snap fastener includes a push button aligned with the snap fastener along an elongated central axis, wherein the decorative make-up brush is symmetrical. The replaceable head and handle portion are wobble free secured.

Abstract: A runway selector is provided for selecting a runway at an airport which does not have traffic control and which has one or more numbered runways. The runway selector includes a first circular scale having azimuth indicia thereon. The runway selector also includes a second circular scale positioned on the first scale and which has runway number indicia thereon. One or more flat strips, which resemble runways, are selectively rotatably mounted over the scales. A wind direction pointer is selectively rotatably mounted over the scales. The runway selector enables a pilot to visually determine the proper runway to use so that the aircraft may land into the wind as closely as possible.

Abstract: A tree stand including a first support secured to the tree and which has a platform secured thereto which may be adjustably positioned with respect to the first support to compensate for variously angled tree trunks or branches. A seat assembly is rotatably mounted on the platform so as to be movable 360° with respect to the platform.

Abstract: A troughing side idler for use with a belt conveyor having upstanding first and second side walls. A first troughing side idler is secured to the first side wall and a second troughing side idler is secured to the second side wall. A horizontally extending medial roller extends between the first and second side walls for cooperation with the side idlers to shape the conveyor belt into a trough. Each of the side idlers includes an idler roller having a shaft which extends upwardly and outwardly through inner and outer bearings which are secured to a bearing bracket housing which is operatively secured to the associated side wall. The upper outer end of the shaft has an annular groove formed therein. A set screw extends through the inner ring of the outer bearing and extends into the annular groove in the shaft. A set screw extends through the inner ring of the inner bearing for frictional engagement with the shaft. A fender washer is secured to the outer end of the shaft.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided for supporting a worker on an upper chord of a roof truss. The apparatus includes a saddle member which is positioned over an installed upper chord of a roof truss and secured thereto to prevent inadvertent movement of the apparatus with respect to the upper chord upon which it is mounted. The apparatus includes a pair of hanger assemblies which are pivotally secured to the saddle member and which extend downwardly therefrom for supporting a pair of footrests thereon. In use, the worker straddles the saddle member and the chord upon which it is mounted with his/her feet resting on the footrests. The footrests may be adjusted to compensate for varying roof pitches.

Abstract: A dosing and/or dispensing system for use with a liquid container such as a bottle or the like for dosing and/or dispensing liquid contents from the bottle. The system includes an improved venting means to ensure that the liquid being dosed or dispensed properly and accurately drains. A novel throat plug assembly is provided for insertion into the throat of the bottle. The throat plug assembly is comprised entirely of a recyclable plastic material.

Abstract: A tractor plow blade is selectively removably mounted on the forward end of the tractor by an attachment frame. The attachment frame is secured to a weight bracket or mount mounted on the forward end of the tractor and to the underside of the tractor. The plow blade may be raised or lowered with respect to the weight bracket and may be optionally pivoted about a vertical axis with respect to the tractor.

Abstract: A pressurized storage system for a service truck body or the like which pressurizes the storage compartment thereof by means of an air blower located above the storage compartment.

Abstract: A chemical shell for insertion into a tree comprising an elongated hollow tubular member having a closed first end and an open second end with a rim portion extending outwardly from the closed end. A non-aqueous chemical is contained within the tubular member and a water-soluble tubular sleeve extends over the open second end of the tubular member and at least a portion of the tubular member to maintain the chemical in the tubular member until the shell has been inserted into a tree so that the sap in the tree dissolves the sleeve to permit the chemical in the tubular member to be released into the tree when dissolved by the sap in the tree.

Abstract: A dispensing system for use on a liquid container such as a bottle or the like for dispensing the liquid contents from the bottle. The outlet opening of the container is closed by the improved throat plug assembly of this invention having a valve positioned therein which is open when the container is mounted in a dispensing fixture which is closed when the container is not mounted on the dispensing system. A plastic spring yieldably urges the valve to its closed position. In the preferred embodiment, a retainer and plastic spring are of one-piece molded construction. The throat plug assembly also includes a specifically shaped valve which is opened slightly when the container is being stored or transported to vent vapor pressure from within the container should the same be necessary.

Abstract: A tray is disclosed for carrying food on dinnerware between a restaurant kitchen to customers. The tray includes a vertically disposed support member having upper and lower ends with a handle being secured to the upper end of the support member. A plurality of vertically spaced and horizontally disposed disc-shaped members are selectively rotatably secured to the support member. Different sizes and shapes of dinnerware may be carried by the tray by inserting the inner ends thereof between the outer ends of the support members. The tray is also designed to be able to carry wine bottles and wine glasses.

Abstract: A cover for a side-dump trailer or truck is disclosed wherein a rigid cover comprised of metal, fiberglass or plastic is movably mounted with respect to the side-dump trailer or truck so that the cover may be moved from a closed position over the upper end of the side-dump body or which may be pivotally moved to either side of the side-dump body so that the side-dump body may be pivotally moved to a dumping position opposite to that of the cover.

Abstract: A side dump body or trailer comprising a wheeled frame having one or more side dump bodies pivotally mounted thereon which may be individually moved from a transport position to a side dumping position at either side of the truck or trailer. Once the side dump body is in its dumping position, the side dump body may be moved somewhat upwardly and inwardly away from the pile of material which has been dumped at one side of the truck or trailer.

Abstract: A hand-held dispenser for precisely controlling the flow rate of water therethrough and for precisely injecting a liquid chemical into the water passing through the apparatus. The dispenser is also capable of dispensing a water-only rinse spray.
