Abstract: An oral airway for providing an air passage to a patient's trachea. The oral airway includes a curved section and a straight section with the curved section having spaced-apart curved upper and lower members and the straight section having spaced-apart planar upper and lower members with the same width. The curved upper member has the same width as the planar upper member with the curved lower member having a greater width than the width of the lower planar member. The width of the curved lower member is greater than the width of the planar lower member and the distance between the curved upper and lower members is greater than the distance between the planar upper and lower members. The curved lower member has a generally inverted V-shaped cross-section.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a tactile warning panel inlay system and method. Such system is comprised of a panel formed with an exposed surface having a plurality of tactile warning protrusions and a support surface configured to contact a substrate matrix. The panel includes a plurality of apertures extending from the exposed surface to the support surface. Further, a plurality of two-piece fasteners are configured to extend individually through an aperture included in the plurality of panel apertures to secure the panel to the substrate matrix. Each fastener includes a head conformed to the shape of the tactile warning protrusion and a threaded shank for extending through the panel and which has an anchor member threadably secured thereto.

In both embodiments, the oral airway includes a curved section and a straight section with the curved section having spaced-apart curved upper and lower members and the straight section having spaced-apart planar upper and lower members with the same width. Abstract: A mini-sized side dump trailer comprising a wheeled frame having a pair of wheels supporting the rearward end thereof and a steerable front wheel assembly of the forward end thereof with a forwardly extending tongue extending from the front wheel assembly for connection to a small vehicle such as a utility terrain vehicle, an all terrain vehicle or a small tractor. The small side dump body may be pivoted to either the first side of the trailer or to the second side of the trailer.

Abstract: An improved pole pruner for pruning a limb from a tree is provided which includes structure which grabs or grasps that portion of the tree limb to be detached as the cutting blade of the pole pruner severs the tree limb from the tree thereby preventing the severed tree limb from falling downwardly and injuring the operator of the pole pruner. The operator of the pole pruner may maneuver the pole pruner to a location wherein it is safe to release the severed tree limb from the pole pruner.

Abstract: A conduit body is described which includes an integrally formed nipple extending from the back wall of the body portion of the conduit body. The exterior surface of the nipple has threads formed thereon. The nipple being adapted to be cut to length with respect to different wall thicknesses of a building through which a nipple is extended to enable electrical wires to be extended through the building wall into an electrical panel or the like.

Abstract: A water saving device for a flush toilet comprising a flapper valve limit structure which yieldably limits the upward movement of a toilet tank flapper valve after it has been moved upwardly from its lower closed position towards its upper position thereby reducing the amount of water which will be discharged from the water tank into the toilet bowl during a flushing cycle.

Abstract: A truck mounted telescopic boom structure including a stowable jib boom having a stowable personnel basket mounted thereon is described. A mounting structure is provided at the outer end of the innermost boom section of the boom structure and includes means for pivotally moving a work platform or basket between operative and stowed positions. When the boom structure and the jib boom are in their stowed positions, the personnel basket is positioned closely adjacent the jib boom at one side thereof so as to be within the highway width restrictions. The instant invention enables the personnel basket to be connected to the outer end of the jib boom at all times without the necessity of removing the personnel basket from the jib boom when the jib boom and the boom structure are in their stowed positions.

Abstract: An all-wheel steer trailer is disclosed which includes front and rear axle beams which are pivotally mounted, above vertical axes, to the forward and rearward ends of a frame. In normal operation, the front and rear axle beams are interconnected so that the rear axle beam will pivot in an opposite direction to pivotal movement of the front axle beams so that the rear wheels of the trailer will track the front wheels of the trailer as the trailer is being turned. The trailer includes a convenient locking assembly which may be quickly utilized to prevent pivotal movement of the rear axle beam with respect to the frame when it is desired to pull the trailer on a highway or roadway.

Abstract: A folding deck assembly is provided which is mounted on a fifth wheel truck rearwardly of the cab of the truck. The folding cargo deck assembly may be selectively moved from a stowed position rearwardly of the cab of the truck to a position which extends rearwardly from the cab so that the cargo deck assembly may support cargo thereon when the truck is not being used to pull a trailer.

Abstract: A hitch adapter for use with a forwardly extending tongue of an implement which enables the hitch on the forward end of the tongue to be converted from a clevis-type hitch to a hitch ball-type hitch. The hitch adapter of this invention may also be used with hitch balls having different diameters.

Abstract: An improved frame for tents and structures comprising a generally circular base plate, a plurality of main frame support struts, each including a lower leg section, a generally upright center section, and an upper section such that each of the support struts is generally C-shaped in side elevational view and an indexing ring mounted on the lower face of the base plate which includes a plurality of lower leg section retaining notches circumferentially spaced around the indexing ring to releasably engage and retain the lower leg sections of the main frame support struts. Upper and lower strut connectors pivotably connect the upper ends and lower ends of the struts to one another. A generally circular frame extension ring engages retaining notches of the main frame support struts between the center section and upper sections thereof such that the base plate and frame extension ring retain the main frame support struts in an upright, circumferentially spaced orientation.

Abstract: The present invention is a spiderweb maker gun comprising a body having a handle, a trigger, and a discharge nozzle. A source of pressurized air is supplied to an air inlet which is secured to the handle of the gun and which is controlled by an adjustable air valve. The discharge side of the air valve has an air conduit extending therefrom which has an air discharge end or nozzle positioned below the glue discharge nozzle so that pressurized air is directed into the stream of hot glue falling or dropping from the glue discharge nozzle. The pressurized air blows the hot glue in a stream towards the area where the spiderweb is to be created with the glue drying and cooling as it is being blown from the gun. The gun is selectively moved while the stream of hot glue is being blown therefrom to create the spiderweb pattern.

Abstract: A window well for use by a person to escape through a window formed in a basement wall including a generally U-shaped body member having upper and lower ends and inner and outer ends. The open upper end of the body member has a spacer and a removable lid mounted thereon. The body member is comprised of a composite material such as fiberglass.

Abstract: A traction device for use in surgery is disclosed with the traction device being secured to one side of a surgical table. The traction device includes one or more traction lines which include a line-tensioning device at one end thereof and a connector at the other end thereof for attachment to the limb of a patient undergoing surgery. A tension meter is associated with each of the traction or lines with the tension meter being connected to a readout which indicates the tension or traction force being imposed in the traction line. The traction device may be used for patients undergoing shoulder surgery or other types of limb surgery.

Abstract: A combination under-cabinet LED fixture and raceway is comprised of an upper housing member to which either a lower housing member may be secured thereto to create an LED fixture or to which a raceway cover may be secured thereto to create a raceway. A modified form of the invention comprises an upper housing member and a lower housing member with the lower housing member being selectively reversibly inserted into the upper housing member to form either a raceway or an LED fixture.
