  • Patent number: 7785215
Abstract: A photoluminescent, light-emitting golf ball comprises a substantially solid core with an outer shell, both formed of a light transmissive material. Photoluminescent particles are distributed within the light transmissive material. A light-emitting circuit assembly embedded within the core includes at least one battery, a control circuit coupled to the at least one battery, a plurality of light-emitting diodes coupled to the control circuit, and an impact switch electrically connected between the battery and the control circuit. The control circuit actuates the light-emitting diodes for a predetermined time period in response to an impact of the golf ball by a golf club. Actuation of the light-emitting diodes by an impact on the golf ball excites the photoluminescent particles, causing the particles to glow in excess of the predetermined time period of actuation of the light-emitting diodes.

  • Patent number: 7699369
Abstract: A hood scoop decoration kit includes a bezel trim member having a concave shape with first and second ends extending in a common direction from a center section thereof. The bezel trim member is attached to an exterior surface of a hood scoop adjacent a forward facing end thereof. A planar mesh member, having a trapezoidal shape, is attached to a forward facing end of a hood scoop. The kit includes an attachment device for securing the bezel trim and planar mesh members to the hood scoop. In one embodiment, an adhesive material is applied to the concave surface of the bezel trim member and to an edge of the mesh member to provide attachment of these members to the hood scoop. The adhesive material includes a fluid adhesive and/or a tape having opposed adhesive sides. Alternatively, mechanical fasteners are employed for securing the decorative members to the hood scoop.

  • Patent number: 7661287
Abstract: An auto body decrimping tool assembly for decrimping a panel from a vehicle frame. The decrimping tool assembly includes a hollow housing body member with a first aperture at one end and a second aperture. A decrimping head member is pivotally mounted near an end thereof on a drive shaft member rotatably secured in the body member's second aperture. The decrimping head member includes a base portion having a protruding contact section and an opposed, protruding blade section having a concave, helical surface facing the contact section. The blade section includes a tapered edge at a side of the concave, helical surface opposite the base portion. The decrimping head member is mounted to the drive shaft member at the contact section. The decrimping head member is positioned at an edge of a panel crimped to the frame with the contact section on an edge of the crimped panel and the tapered edge of the blade section between the crimped panel and the frame.

  • Patent number: 7626118
Abstract: A curb and cap junction box assembly for protecting joined electrical conductors includes a curb member with a planar flashing portion with a central housing portion extending upwardly from the flashing portion and forming an enclosed space. The central housing portion has top and bottom openings. A plate member is secured over the central housing portion's bottom opening. The plate member includes at least one knockout section therein. A cap member has a planar top portion and a peripheral edge portion extending downwardly therefrom. The cap member is sized to fit over the top opening of the central housing portion and reversibly fastened thereto. The curb and cap mounting assembly is secured to a structure by the planar flashing portion and receives an electrical conductor from interior the structure through a knockout aperture in the plate member and into the enclosed space therein.

  • Patent number: 7614156
Abstract: A bow-mounted sight unit, containing a range finder with data storage, includes an optical sight unit for viewing a target. The sight unit has a housing which supports a viewing screen. A cross-hairs member has vertical and horizontal sighting cross-hair portions and is superimposed on the viewing screen. A laser range finder member calculates the range distance to the intended target. A control member allows entering and accessing data retained by a microprocessor member and connected data storage member of the unit. Data is displayed on the viewing screen adjacent to the field of view. In operation, the microprocessor member calculates an arrow drop compensation distance automatically, using the historical arrow-drop data in conjunction with the range distance. The compensation distance is displayed in the field of view by automatic adjustment of the cross-hairs member by the microprocessor member.

  • Patent number: 7607423
Abstract: A draw holding and draw releasing mechanism assembly comprises a mounting bracket, with a passageway controlled by a levered cam, secured to a bow. A draw bar is movable and lockable within the passageway by the levered cam. The draw bar includes a hand grip and an adjacent linear slot with an adjacent cam member, having a cradle notch and finger grip. The cam member rotates from a bowstring accepting position, with the cradle notch open to the draw bar slot, to a bowstring retaining position, with the cradle notch intersecting the draw bar slot. Moving the draw bar within the passageway brings the bowstring into the linear slot and into the cam member's cradle notch. Grasping the finger grip rotates the cam member to retain the bowstring. Moving the bowstring to the desired draw and then actuating the levered cam temporarily locks the draw bar. Releasing the finger grip allows the cam member to rotate and release the retained bowstring, firing an arrow.

  • Patent number: 7549247
Abstract: A portable shooting bench assembly has a base chassis assembly with a wheel member that contacts a support surface upon elevating one end of the base chassis assembly. An L-shaped turret chassis member is pivotally mounted at a first end to the base chassis assembly and follows the contour thereof. The turret chassis member's second end is supported on a roller member that contacts the base chassis assembly with a seat member secured above the roller member. The first end of the turret chassis member contains a vertically telescoping section, having an offset support arm member and a linear, rifle support assembly adjustably secured thereto. A hunter seated on the seat member moves himself and his rifle positioned in the rifle support assembly by pivoting the second end of the turret chassis assembly on the roller member along the base chassis assembly.

  • Patent number: 7516694
Abstract: A firewood bundler device includes a base member having first and second opposed, vertical arm members extending from the base member. A U-shaped, wood support member is attached at an end of each arm member, with an open end opposite the base member. A wrapping support member is rotatably attached to an end of one arm member and includes a spindle section extending therefrom, the spindle section movable in a circular path around the wood support members upon rotation of the wrapping support member. The spindle section holds a roll of wrapping material. A rotation device is operatively connected to the wrapping support member for imparting rotational movement thereto and to the spindle section. Multiple pieces of firewood placed in the U-shaped supports are encircled with wrapping material by rotation of the wrapping support member holding a roll of wrapping material.
