Abstract: The invention relates to compositions that prevent expansion of a fire, suppress existing fire, as well as methods of preparing and using such compositions. The composition is comprised of water, pseudo-plastic high yield suspending agent and starch. Compositions may contain additional functional agents, such as rheological, wetting, foaming, coloring, chelating, antimicrobial and stabilizing agents. In the description of the present invention, all composition modifications are referred to as compositions. The composition, an augmentation of water, exhibits the characteristics of a sag resistant aqueous gel in the tank, but has shear thinning capacity, allowing the composition to be pumped or sprayed as easily as water. At the point of impact, when the sprayed composition is again at rest, it instantly reverts to a sag resistant aqueous gel. The composition also forms an intumescent, surface char layer upon contacting a fire.

Abstract: An aqua tiller device. The device includes a hollow, liner body member having interior and exterior surfaces and open ends. A plurality of tine members, each having an L-shaped end, protrude radially from the body member with the L-shaped end opposite thereto. A linear, axle member is positioned within the hollow, linear body member and extends beyond the ends thereof. An end cap member is attachable at each end of the body member. The end cap members each have an aperture therein allowing the axle member to protrude there through and rotate therein. An eye bolt assembly is rotatably attached at each end of the axle member. The eye bolt assemblies are attached to of a length of rope for moving the weed tiller device over a submerged surface. The hollow, linear body member and end cap members are adapted for receiving fill material for adding weight to the weed tiller device.

Abstract: An energy saving reflector assembly for cook-top heating units. The reflector assembly features a device which concentrates heat on the bottom of a cooking vessel being heated and prevents heat from escaping laterally from under the vessel being heated. The device provides significant decreases in both cooking time and energy consumption. Embodiments for electric and gas cook-tops are described.

Abstract: A portable golf putting practice kit includes a case member having a base portion with a hinged cover portion. The base portion includes one upstanding hinged wall that pivot outwardly and lies flat on a support surface. A cup and ball return insert member, contained within the base portion, includes a planar plateau section and a ramp section inclined from the base of the hinged wall to the planar plateau section. The plateau section includes at least two cup members extending below the plateau section. A ball return channel extends from the plateau section to the inclined surface at the base of the hinged, upstanding wall. A simulated turf matt member is secured to the plateau section and the ramp section and extends over the horizontal hinged wall onto the support surface beyond the case member. The rolled turf matt member is contained within the case member with the cover portion secure to the base portion in a closed condition.

Abstract: A boat hull shield device comprising a bracket member attached to the tongue of a trailer. An adjustable shield-support assembly is fastened to the bracket member and extending upwardly therefrom. A pair of planar shield members is adjustably attached to the shield support assembly, with the shield members each positioned to one side of the bracket member in an open V configuration. A pair of linear brace members further stabilizes the shield members. Each brace member is secured at a first end to one shield member and at a second end to the upright support fastened to the tongue of the trailer. The planar shield members are rotationally adjustable relative to a horizontal axis, which is perpendicular to the trailer tongue and pivotally adjustable relative to a vertical axis, that is perpendicular to the trailer tongue.

Abstract: A fishing pole and line assembly for underwater use includes a linear, tubular fishing rod member having first and second open ends. A linear, tubular handle member has an open first end and a closed second end and is axially aligned with the rod member. The handle member's open first end slidably fits over the second end of the fishing rod member. The handle member includes a one-way valve member adapted for passing fluid only into the tubular handle member. A fishing line is secured at a first end interior the tubular handle member, with the fishing line passing interior both the handle member, the fishing rod member and extending through the rod member's open first end. The fishing line has a second end adapted for attachment to a fishing bait.

Abstract: A method of assessing the spine of a patient is provided, the method comprising (a) placing a patient to be assessed in a prone position; (b) providing a magnetometer; (c) identifying a vertebra of the spine to be assessed; (d) placing the magnetometer over the vertebra to be assessed and obtaining a magnetometer reading of the vertebra; (e) identifying at least one additional vertebra to be assessed and repeating step (d) for the at least one additional vertebra. The method also includes delivering a chiropractic adjustment to the vertebra and obtaining another magnetometer reading to determine if a change of about 1.0% absolute value has occurred.

Abstract: A system for pressing and vacuum treatment of cheese solids is disclosed. The system includes a device for continuously treating loaded cheese solids containers with mechanical pressure and vacuum during movement of the containers in a circular path. Preferably, mechanical pressure and vacuum treatment are applied simultaneously to the loaded cheese solids containers.

Abstract: A hole cutting assembly for cutting cylindrical conduits includes a base member having first and second V-shaped contact sections at opposite ends thereof. A linear base anchoring member is secured to the base member for encircling a cylindrical conduit and drawing both V-shaped contact sections of the base member against an outer surface of the cylindrical conduit. A support plate member extends perpendicularly from the base member in opposition to one V-shaped contact section. A bearing housing member, secured to the support plate member, includes a cylindrical passage having a cylindrical axis paralleling the support plate member. The cylindrical axis is positioned beyond one end of the base member, and the housing member includes at least two bearings within the cylindrical passage. A cylindrical arbor shaft member is rotatably and slidably mounted within the housing member's cylindrical passage.

Abstract: A louver decoration kit includes a plurality of louver members, each louver member having a concave body portion with a peripheral, planar base portion extending along a first selected section of the concave body portion. The planar base portion has a flat attachment surface opposite the concave body portion. Also included is a second, selected section of the concave body portion having an elevated edge positioned at a selected angle to the planar base portion. The louver members have sufficient flexibility that the flat attachment surface of each louver member is adapted to conform to both planar and curved mounting surfaces. The louver decoration kit also includes an adhesive material adapted for application to the attachment surface of the planar base portion of the louver member to provide attachment of the louver member to a selected mounting surface.

Abstract: The invention is a building panel and clip system, in which the building panel members are quickly and reversibly attached to other similar building panel members with clip members to form a temporary structure that provides shelter from the elements. Alternatively, the building panel members are erected interior an existing structure to provide partitioning of the space therein. The building panel members are used to form both vertical walls and the roof for such an exterior structure. The building panel members may incorporate a door or a window for added versatility.

Abstract: A telephone interface device adapted for the transmission of recorded audio files over communication channels is disclosed. The telephone interface device comprises electronic circuitry contained within a case member. The circuitry includes a plurality of electrical connection jack members, each accessible via an aperture in the case member, with each electrical connection jack member in communication with at least one control switch member mounted in an aperture in the case member and operable from exterior the case member.
