  • Patent number: 7494752
Abstract: A method and system for utilizing a simplified resist process model to perform optical and process corrections. More specifically, the present invention provides a fast and easy post exposure bake (PEB) effects calculation which can be used in connection with OPC. The model can be used to increase OPC modeling accuracy, by taking PEB effects into consideration, without incurring a large overhead increase due to PEB calculation cost. The method includes providing an image, calculating initial acid concentration and adding acid concentration contours to the image, calculating deprotection concentration and adding deprotection concentration contours to the image, determining latent image contour without diffusion, moving the latent image contour in a direction of lower deprotection concentration to provide the final latent image, performing OPC on the chemically amplified resist using edge movement based on the final latent image, and repeating the process to obtain convergence.

  • Patent number: 7484477
Abstract: A combination leash anchor and container support. The combination includes a securement member for securely attaching the combination to the ground, a leash fastener for coupling a dog leash, for example, to the securement member, and a container support for holding containers, such as food or water bowls. The securement member, which has a ground boring means attached thereto, and the container support are preferably constructed in one-piece and the container support is designed so that it can be grasped to manually drive the combination into the ground without the need for any tools or strenuous labor. The combination can be removed from the ground and relocated in a similar manner. Removable bowls can be used with the combination in order to facilitate cleaning and refilling at a location away from the combination, if desired.

  • Patent number: 7482642
Abstract: A bipolar transistor which has a base formed of a combination of shallow and deep acceptors species. Specifically, elements such as Indium, Tellurium, and Gallium are deep acceptors in silicon, and are appropriate for such an application, in combination with boron as the shallow acceptor. The use of a deep acceptor for doping the base of the transistor has the benefit of providing a doping species, which increases in ionization as the temperature rises. At elevated temperatures, the fraction of, for example, indium which is ionized increases and it results in an increased Gummel number, driving down the current gain. In other words, the enhancement of the Gummel number between room temperature and an elevated temperature compensates for the increase in the ratio of collector and base currents due to band gap narrowing effects. Thus, a zero temperature coefficient bipolar transistor is provided.

  • Patent number: 7476069
Abstract: A cap for use on a palletized load has a main mauling providing housings at a pair or two pairs of opposite sides for a cassette in which a strap passes through a slotted crossbar between a drum and a hook having two prongs for engaging the underside of the platform of a pallet (e.g. at each side of a middle spacer), the strap then being tensioned by a linkage between the slotted crossbar and a lever within a slot for swinging between an inoperative position and an operative position (e.g. up to 90° thereto) to rotate the crossbar to wind the strap thereon.

  • Patent number: 7472972
Abstract: A fireproof filing cabinet is disclosed. The cabinet has a shelf on which material such as files can be stored, having an open front side enclosable by a fireproof door. The door rotatably engages a retracting mechanism having a lift assist, so that the door rotates from a closed position, enclosing and sealing the shelf, to an open position, and then to a retracted position inside a compartment mounted adjacent to the shelf A lift assist mechanism enables opening and closing the door.

  • Patent number: 7469717
Abstract: A fail-safe shutter (13) for a “cross-stack” monitor, comprises a body member (14) having an aperture (1) through which, in use, an associated monitoring instrument is adapted to sight. A gate (3) is movable between a retracted, open position in which the aperture (1) is exposed, and a closed position in which the aperture (1) is closed-off by a portion of the gate (3), and means are provided to bias the gate (3) towards its closed position.

  • Patent number: 7469719
Abstract: A limb for a breathing circuit manufactured from very thin walled polymer materials has an elongate axial reinforcing spine lying freely inside the conduit and fixed to each end connector. The spine is laterally compliant but axially stiff. The spine provides resistance to tensile and compressive loads on the conduit, including that induced by prevailing internal pressures.

  • Patent number: 7469887
Abstract: A system for producing removable portions for mass-distributable packets by single-pass manufacturing, in which a printed web is slit into two ribbons, one of which is then folded upon itself to create a multi-ply ribbon that appears to be of heavier stock than the original paper. Alternatively, the multi-ply ribbon can be created by gluing together multiple ribbons, or by a combination of folding ribbons and gluing together ribbons. The multi-ply ribbon is die cut into an inside portion and an outside portion and married to the other ribbon, after which the outside portion is removed, leaving the inner portion as removable portions. Alternatively, the folded ribbon can be kiss cut after it has been married to the other ribbon. The removable portions can be UV-coated to simulate plastic and printed with information personalized for the advertiser or for the recipient.

  • Patent number: 7467483
Abstract: A laundry appliance includes a cabinet or surround structure with an attachment for a removable front panel and a removable front panel for attachment to the cabinet. The appliance is a drum and a drum support structure supporting the drum for rotation. There is a movement interface between the drum support structure and the cabinet or surround structure, allowing the drum support structure to move between an operating condition within the cabinet and a maintenance condition wherein the drum and drum support structure are at least substantially disposed outside the envelope defined by the cabinet. In the operating condition the drum and support structure are hidden behind the removable front panel. They may be moved out to the maintenance condition after removal of the front panel.

  • Patent number: 7467451
Abstract: A pulling head that can be used with a wide range of fasteners and power tools having different stroke lengths and/or power ratings. The pulling head has a set of internal jaws which has serrations that are configured to grip a wide range of fastener types and sizes. The effective stroke of the pulling head is determined by the power tool to which it is engaged, rather than by the structure and design of the pulling head. The pulling head preferably has two jaws and a jaw follower with a leading surface which provides two beveled surfaces. As a result, the trailing surface of the jaws need not be conical, thereby providing that the jaws need not be machined after they are cast, thereby providing a very low cost manufacturing solution.

  • Patent number: 7467363
Abstract: A method for verifying that a physical location of a memory matches a design logical representation, without having to use a focused ion beam to physically damage a memory location. The method provides that either a temporary or permanent circuit “defect” is intentionally created in the physical layout. Then, the new electrical schematic is extracted from the modified physical layout. Subsequently, if the design “defect” which was created is temporary, the new electrical schematic is simulated, the logical address of the “defect” is determined, and the extracted logical address is compared to the expected address to verify the logical to physical correlation. Alternatively, if the design “defect” which was created is permanent, after the new electrical schematic is extracted from the modified physical layout, the product is fabricated and the known design “defect” location is used to correlate to the electrically-tested defect logical location.

  • Patent number: 7458615
Abstract: A connector for use with a conduit to supply gases to a user is disclosed. The connector comprises a pair of connectors, adapted to fit together and swivel relative to one another. More particularly, the connector may comprise a female and male connector assemblies, adapted to be push fit together. The female connector assembly preferably has an extended shoulder and a number of triangular guide slots, the slots being shaped so as to be wider at one end. The male connector assembly preferably comprises a connector and a sleeve that when joined, cannot be easily separated by axial or torsional tension applied to either, but may rotate freely relative to each other. The sleeve preferably has a number of guide ridges running axially along its outside surface that slidably mate with the guide slots on the female connector.
