The multi-purpose doll is provided with a drive mechanism for propelling and turning the doll. A remote control unit is also provided for remotely controlling the drive mechanism. The action amusement set includes several types of gameballs that can be selectively incorporated in the multi-purpose doll but which are configured for play in connection with a particular sport. The sporting accessories of the amusement set include several components that may be arranged into suitable setups corresponding to a particular sport.

    Abstract: An electrical junction box is constituted by accommodating bus-bar circuit board composed of a plurality of bus-bars and an insulating plate in a case member composed of upper, lower and side cases. The bus-bar has a terminal for a connector vertically erecting from the surface of the bus-bar and introduced into fastening portions of the upper and lower cases and a terminal extending in parallel to the surface of the bus-bar while keeping a level difference so as to be accommodated in the housing of the side case at a predetermined pitch. In order to easily align the terminals and easily assemble and fasten a predetermined terminal or a connector, a boss and a cut portion are formed to correspond to the insulating plate for the purpose of supporting the terminal. As an alternative to this, a support member is inserted between the insulating plates.

    Abstract: A system is described that combines two or more fluids in fixed proportions over a wide range of flow rates, in which said proportions are independent of the rate of flow of the fluids, by causing each of said fluids to experience a drop in pressure which is approximately proportional to said fluid flow. An important application of such a system is to serve as a fuel-oxidizer combiner for a combustion engine to provide a constant ratio of air to fuel over a wide range of engine power output. The invention is especially useful in controlling the ratio of air to natural gas in natural gas fueled engines, where the gas is stored at very high pressures and is normally reduced to atmospheric pressure before being mixed with the air in an air-gas mixer.

    Abstract: Post-quantization processing is disclosed in which frames of data are organized into frames of input vectors. For each input vector, the quantizer identifiers a closely matching codebook vector. The quantizer generates a compressed signal by replacing each input vector in a frame with an ID code of a closely matching codebook vector. On subsequent frames, the quantizer further processes ID codes to achieve additional compression. In one embodiment, the ID codes from one frame are compared to the corresponding ID codes in the previous frames. If the ID code from the subsequent frame (new ID code) is the same as the corresponding ID code from the previous frame (old ID code), the new ID code is eliminated from the frame and a tag bit is set to indicate that the ID Code was eliminated. Similarly, if the new ID code represents a vector which is only slightly different from the vector represented by the old ID code, the new ID code is replaced with a tag bit.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an equipment for the maintenance and particularly for the washing of insulator chains supporting high voltage electric lines, which allows operation on a live line. The washing of the insulator chain is performed through jets of washing fluid sprayed in close proximity to and over the whole contour of the insulators. The equipment comprises a guide body movable along the insulator chain, a plurality of washing liquid spraying nozzles mounted on said guide body, and moving means to guide said body along the insulator chain. This moving means consists of at least one track, rotating on two transmission rollers, at least one of these rollers being motor-driven and the active section of the track being in contact with the peripheral edge of the insulators of the chain. According to the invention, the guide body surrounds the insulator chain, at a short distance from the same insulators; the track presents a plurality of tongue teeth, projecting perpendicularly from its outer surface.

    Abstract: A vehicle window regulating apparatus is designed to move a window glass in a door on the side of a passenger seat up and down by operations of a remote contol switch installed on the door on the side of a driver seat. A relay is provided on a power supply line for supplying electric power to a motor in the door on the passenger seat side. This relay and the remote control switch are connected by way of a signal line and is of a diameter smaller than that of the power supply line. With operations on the remote control switch, switching signals are supplied to the relay via the signal line, and the relay is thereby turned on and off so as to supply electric power to the motor via the power supply line, so that the window glass is moved upward or downward.

A connector is provided at each end of the cable whereby the tension members of the cable may be fixedly attached to the connector such that the tensile loads carried by the tension members are directly transmitted to the connector and are not transmitted to the conductors.

Therefore, since absorption temperature sufficiently higher than crystallization temperature can be achieved, neither lithium halide nor lithium nitrate is precipitated in the absorbent solution during the operation cycle of the refrigeration apparatus.

The viscous liquid is accommodated in a recess formed in the upper surface of the magnet rotor, and the damping action is performed in cooperation with a damping projection projecting downward from a part of the coil bobbin.
