The apparatus slips over the deteriorated eavepost and attaches to the house with conventional fasteners. The body and end cap of the apparatus are textured to resemble the texture of an intact wooden eavepost and the mounting flange is textured to resemble the texture of the exterior wall of the house.

    Abstract: This invention discloses a fishing pole holder apparatus including a rod stake member, a slide hammer member and a fishing pole support bracket. The stake member is provided with an impact end member and an attachment portion for pivotally mounting the fishing pole support bracket. The impacting slide hammer is mechanically attached to the stake member and is used for imparting a force to the stake member. The fishing pole support bracket is attachable to the stake member for holding a fishing pole in a casted position and includes a bent rod piece integrally shaped having a pivotal attachment, a first pole support integral to the pivotal attachment and a second pole support integral to said first pole support. The first and second pole supports cradle the reel end of a fishing pole while the attachment portion provides horizontal angle flexibility for holding the pole.

    Abstract: A printed circuit board assembly having a first main printed circuit board and a connector connecting to the main board. A subsidiary board connects to the connector. The main board has a plurality of socket holes and the connector has a corresponding plurality of pins. The invention overcomes the problem of the prior art assembly, which requires a different main board to accommodate each type of connector having a different pin spacing. The main board of the invention has a combination group of four rows of holes, including a first row of holes and a third row of holes having a same first lengthwise spacing which receive the pins of one type of connector and including a second row of holes and a fourth row of holes having a same second lengthwise spacing which receive the pins of another type of connector. The first row of holes respectively having a first set of outer conductors. The first row of holes also respectively have a first set of inner conductors.

    Abstract: A pressure-compensating, self-flushing, preset flow valve utilizing an emitter for maintaining a continuous microscopic flow of water at a specified continuous rate. The valve includes a housing adapted with an inlet chamber and an outlet chamber and a preset emitter device encapsulated between the inlet and outlet chamber having selectively unplugged outlet ports each capable of delivering a preset microscopic volume of water into the outlet chamber for collective distribution to a moisture maintenance system. The valve housing is adapted with inlet and outlet ports for connecting to a water source and a moisture maintenance system, respectively. In an alternative embodiment the housing may be modified to provide multiple stages of the encapsulated preset emitter device such that each stage is preset for a flow rate for selectively utilization according to seasonal needs.

The kinetic energy converter includes a cylinder containing a fluid, such as a lubricant, in opposed cylinder chamber portions, a first heavily weighted piston that is slidably and freely disposed within the body of the cylinder. The heavily weighted piston is slidably responsive to the wave motion energy of the body of water and is used to compress the fluid to produce respective compression power strokes in each of the cylinder chamber portions.

    Abstract: An underwater viewing platform is described which has a stern mounted electric drive motor whose direction and speed may by varied by forward mounted controls located adjacent the prone-lying operator's hands near a large forward mounted viewing window. A shade cowl arches up over the viewing window and has a U-shaped stern-facing, padded opening for receiving the operator's head. With the operator's head in place, the large viewing window is substantially shaded from overhead sunlight and has a large viewing angle and field of view. The window has a lens for providing the desired degree of magnification or demagnification. Bottom illumination is provided by an underwater light for night time use. Navigation and battery status and drain instruments are conveniently mounted within or on the shade cowl. Various design features reduce operator fatigue and extend useful range and endurance. The apparatus also has a resilient cantilever beam having a first portion with a cavity which receives a cap portion of an aerosol container, and having a second portion which is fixedly connected to a wall of the housing. The resilient cantilever beam has a passageway from the cavity to an orifice inside the chamber for spraying a substance. from the container, while containing the disc portion in the chamber.

    Abstract: A collapsibe tent for mounting on the roof of an automotive vehicle or other surface includes a two-piece foldable platform, a collapsible frame, and a tent cover which is drawn into a tubular form resembling the top of a Conestoga wagon when the platform is unfolded and the frame erected. The frame includes a front support arch and a rear support arch, each of which is pivotable from a horizontal position parallel to the platform to a vertical position perpendicular to the platform. When the arches are in the vertical position, each leg of the arch is automatically and releasably locked into place by means of a compression spring which is carried on the mounting pin which connects that leg to the platform and which biasingly urges the leg into a notch in the sidewall of the platform when the leg is in a vertical position.
