Abstract: A suitcase having a pull handle. The pull handle is rotatably affixed to the suitcase with a bracket element to assist the user of the suitcase in pulling same across a flat surface with substantially no fishtailing.
Abstract: A high strength vacuum melted ferrous alloy having enhanced fracture toughness comprising not more than about 0.01% by weight sulfur, not more than about 0.1% manganese, and titanium in an amount in atomic percent of not less than about twice the atomic percentage of sulfur present in the alloy. Other detailed limits of titanium, zirconium, and niobium are also disclosed.

Abstract: A telephone booth enclosure which has arcuate vertical walls which can contain advertising material. The arcuate vertical walls have an inside sidewall made of perforated stainless sheet, an outside sidewall made of transparent material and an interposed fiberglass material. The vertical walls have front, rear, top and bottom edge walls, the front edge wall being a removable aluminum extrusion. The advertising material is placed in the vertical wall by first removing the front edge wall and then sliding it underneath the transparent material.
Abstract: A gantry robot construction is provided. The construction includes a pair of elongated substantially spaced parallel rails, a bridge spanning and substantially perpendicular to the rails and movable relative to the rails, and a robot head and support mounted on the bridge and movable relative to the bridge. The rails are positioned along the width or shorter side of the work area with the bridge spanning the length or longer side of the work area. An improved rack and pinion apparatus is also disclosed that is used in association with the gantry robot construction. There is a zero degree pressure angle between the rack and pinion. In the pinion the base circle is congruent with the pitch circle.
Abstract: A method of order entry, product selection and inventory control for building products, building product accessories and building product components sold by a dealer to a customer. The method comprises the steps of providing a computer having a display screen and a plurality of files. A first file lists descriptions, dimensions and styles of available building products by product code along with building product accessories. A second file lists rough opening dimensions and building products fitting the rough opening dimensions and a third file lists building product components. A customer can enter into the computer a product code, a rough opening dimension or plural product codes for a desired building product. Based on the entry, the computer will select a building product. The computer then determines and displays the desired building product along with a price. The customer can then order the desired building product from an inventory.
Abstract: A piston ring grinding apparatus providing piston rings of consistent gap is disclosed. The piston ring grinding apparatus has a base member with a piston ring grinding means mounted thereon. The piston ring holder is rotatably mounted on the base member for movement of a piston ring mounted thereon into and out of contact with the grinding means. A gauge means are in operative association with the piston ring holder and are mounted on the base member in a position to gauge rotational movement of the piston ring holder.
Abstract: An expansion joint filler strip holder and an associated method are disclosed. The device consists of a ground engaging member to which a filler strip holder is attached. In one embodiment, the filler strip holder consists of two parallel rails to which are attached a plurality of material supports. In another embodiment the rails are formed to provide a plurality of material support portions. The method involves providing the device and placing it in the ground by using the ground engaging members and then placing filler paper between the rails and material supports or portions. After this, concrete is poured over the device and around the filler paper to form an expansion gap between adjacent concrete areas.
Abstract: A cover for the front and/or the back of a carrying case with a semi-rigid frame, and comprising a lining and an outer panel. The outer panel has a main central portion and a gusset member around the periphery of the central portion which are connected together through an inner welt, and which are spaced apart by a reinforcement member located in each of the four corners of the outer panel. The lining and outer panel are connected together through an outer welt around the outer peripheral edge of the cover. This second welt is concentric with the first welt, the construction of the cover being such that the outer panel is in a dome-shaped configuration for a unique appearance and additional content holding capacity for the compartments of the case.
