Abstract: The present invention discloses a apparatus which includes a left front panel and a left back panel which together form a first pocket and a right front panel and a right back panel which together form a second pocket. The apparatus also includes a left closing flap which is connected to the left back panel, a middle closing flap which is connected to the right back panel, a right closing flap which is connected to the middle closing flap. An item or items, such as a keepsake, can be inserted into the first and/or second pocket. The keepsake may be a greeting card and a portion or panel of the greeting card may be inserted into the first pocket while another portion or panel may be inserted into the second pocket. The first and second pockets are preferably virtually completely or completely sealed so that no the inserted keepsake can not be damaged. The left closing flap, the middle closing flap, and the right closing flap may each have a set of a plurality of holes.

Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed comprising a first attachment portion fixed to a housing and a detachable match strike device comprised of a first surface having a second attachment portion and a second surface, opposite the first surface, having a match strike material. The second attachment portion may be comprised of a VELCRO (Trademarked) portion which attaches to the first attachment portion. The first conductor is adapted to be electrically connected to a central terminal of a cigarette lighter accessory socket and the second conductor adapted to be electrically connected to an outer terminal of the cigarette lighter accessory socket. The first conductor and the second conductor may be attached to a housing. The first conductor may be comprised of a first portion, which may be a conductive thimble, a second portion, and a third portion, which may be a spring shaped conductor. The apparatus may be further comprised of a first conductive terminal electrically connected to the first conductor, and a second conductive terminal electrically connected to the second conductor. A first device may be provided for attaching a first electrical lead to the first conductive terminal, and a second device may be provided for attaching a second electrical lead to the second conductive terminal.

When the button of the digital camera is pressed the digital camera creates a digital image and sends the digital image to the processor. The processor sends the digital image out to the telecommunications line. The processor may automatically send the digital image out or may wait for inputs from a user before it sends the digital image out. The processor can be connected to an interactive device such as a computer keyboard or computer mouse. The processor is adaptable to receive a user input in the form of an electronic mailing address and the processor can send the digital image out on the telecommunications line to the electronic mailing address. The processor produces a first screen on a computer monitor.

Abstract: A device is disclosed that uses a plurality of light sources. The light sources may be light emitting diodes (LEDs). The light sources are arranged and mounted to a deformable flexible substrate. The light sources are arranged and mounted to the substrate as to emit their radiation perpendicular to the substrate. The substrate is flexed in a concave or convex manner by motor, magnetic field or other mechanical means. The light sources may emit their radiation perpendicular to the substrate, or the may diverge or converge their radiation away from the substrate. Perforations in the substrate provide cooling to the light sources by convection or forced air. A threaded holder may be screwed onto threads on a case in order to bend the flexible substrate to change the direction of light from the light sources mounted to the flexible substrate.

Abstract: The present invention provides various methods and apparatus for providing accurate estimates for point and range queries over two-dimensional rectangular data. However, the techniques of the present invention for rectangular data can be applied to data of other shapes, point data, or linear data. The present invention provides several grouping techniques for the approximating of spatial data. A method is disclosed for grouping a plurality of spatial inputs into a plurality of buckets. In one form of the present invention the plurality of spatial inputs, is grouped based on an equi-area partitioning technique. The equi-area partitioning technique can use the longest dimension of a bucket or bounding polygon as the criteria for splitting into further buckets or bounding polygons. An equi-count technique can also be used wherein the buckets are split using the highest projected spatial input count along a dimension as a splitting criteria. The bounding polygons may be minimum bounding rectangles.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a kit. The kit provides the ability to transfer a drawing to an object and to provide color and/or shading in the transferred drawing. A first sheet is provided having a first side and a second side, the first side including a drawing which is comprised of a plurality of regions. The kit also typically includes a second sheet comprised of a means for transferring a drawing. The kit further includes a tangible medium on which information indicative of the color or shading of the regions is fixed. The means for transferring a drawing is typically comprised of carbon. A instrument is preferably provided for rubbing over the first side of the first sheet to cause a portion of the drawing to transfer to the surface of an object. The first sheet and second sheets are preferably mural length.

The first lighting device may have a plurality of parameters. The first lighting device can include a processor and first motor. The first motor of the lighting device can be used to vary a first parameter of the plurality of parameters of the first lighting device. The first lighting device can be connected to a second power outlet of the power line.

Abstract: A method is disclosed comprising the steps of placing a first portion of a mixture of spring water and distilled water into a first chamber; and freezing the first portion of the mixture inside the first chamber to form a first ice cube. The mixture may comprise about ninety percent distilled water and ten percent pure spring water. The method may include placing a second portion of the mixture into a second chamber and freezing the second portion of the mixture inside the second chamber to form a second ice cube. The first and second chambers may be attached together by a backing. The method may also include sealing the first chamber after placing the first portion of the mixture into the first chamber and before freezing the first portion. The first chamber may be sealed by placing a foil over the first chamber. The method may include removing bacteria from the first portion after placing the first portion into the first chamber and before freezing the first portion.

A top member of the cage is connected to a first adjustable member having a first pulley. The first adjustable member can be part of an overall pulley device which is also attached to the cage. The pulley device is preferably comprised of overlapping upper and lower pulley devices. The overall pulley device may be comprised of a top member having second and third pulleys mounted thereon, a bottom member having a fourth pulley rotatably mounted thereto, and a floating member having fifth and sixth pulleys rotatably mounted thereto. A first cord and a second cord can be provided for the upper and lower pulley devices. A second adjustable member for providing an adjustable foot brace is disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention disclose a method comprising the steps of fixing a first device to a first housing using a first manufacturing process and fixing a second device to a first housing using a second manufacturing process. The first device can be a laser and the second device an optical fiber. After the first and second device have been fixed to the first housing, the first device lies at a first position relative to the second device. The first device, the second device, and the first housing comprise a first sample. The first sample can be flexed by an amount y1. The first sample is next subjected to a deterioration process such as baking. After the deterioration process it is determined whether the first device lies within a range of the first position relative to the second device. The method may also comprise fixing a third device and a fourth device to a second housing using the same first and second manufacturing processes as for the first sample.

Abstract: Individual variable parameters of a multiparameter lighting device may be varied in response to a processed audio signal. The multiparameter lighting device is equipped with an audio transducer to receive sound waves in the vicinity of the device. The audio signal generated by the transducer in response to the sound waves is sent to a signal processor where the audio signal is processed and converted to a control signal for varying selected parameters of the multiparameter lighting device. The multiparameter lighting device is operated remotely from a control device using a digital communication scheme. An operator of the control device may remotely select which parameter of the multiparameter lighting device may be varied in response to the processed audio signal. One or several parameters may be varied in response to the processed audio signal. The intensity of the light source may also be varied in response to the processed audio signal.
