Abstract: A drum hi hat apparatus including a first tube device, a second tube device, a third tube device, a rod, a support device, a pedal device, and a first adjusting device. The third tube device may have a first end which is configured to have a first cymbal placed on it. The rod may be configured to fit within the first, second, and third tube devices. The support device may be configured so that it is able to support the first tube device in an upright position. The first adjusting device may be configured to adjustably fix the rod to the second tube device, so that the rod extends out from the second tube device different amounts. The pedal device may be connected to the second tube device, which is adjustably fixed to the rod by a first adjusting device, so that the pedal device can pull down the second tube device and thereby pull down a second cymbal fixed to the rod to bring the second cymbal in contact with the first cymbal.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided including a main body portion, a first portion connected to the main body portion, and an extension portion connected to the first portion. The extension portion is comprised of an extension arm and a base. The base is configured to slide up and down the extension arm. The apparatus further includes a base engagement means, and a base release. The base engagement means does not allow the base to slide down the extension arm away from the first portion unless the base release has been activated. The base engagement means allows the base to slide up the extension arm toward the first portion regardless of whether the base release has been activated. The apparatus may be used to hang up a picture frame.

Abstract: A multiparameter light is disclosed, which incorporates an LED (light emitting diode) tracking ring surrounding a main output lens. The LED tracking ring is capable of additive color mixing and in turn can simulate the color of the main projected light projecting from the main output aperture or output lens of the multiparameter light.

Abstract: An apparatus including a J-shaped hanger and a first device is provided. The J-shaped hanger may include a hook and a base, the hook connected to the base, the base forming a substantially flat vertical portion of the J-shape, the hook forming the hook portion. The first device may have a first portion having an opening which is large enough so that the base can pass through the opening of the first portion while the base is substantially parallel to the first device. The first device has a front with a first temporary or removable adhesive and a back with a second temporary or removable adhesive. The apparatus can be used for hanging a picture frame.

Abstract: A portable apparatus is provided that can receive both regular broadcast satellite television or non-digital Terrestrial Television Broadcast signals and Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcast (DTTB) signals. The portable apparatus may include a signal comparer which compares a direct satellite television broadcast signal with a digital terrestrial television broadcast signal to determine which signal has greater signal strength, and processing the signal having the greater signal strength.

Abstract: The objective of this patent is to develop new signal processing algorithms for a wide-band circular electronically scanned array (CESA) or a wideband linear electronically scanned array (LESA) for use in surveillance and communications applications, where a sequence of pulses are transmitted and their returns are collected by the array for further processing. Instead of partitioning the entire wideband frequency into various subbands and then processing them separately using narrowband schemes, a frequency focusing method is proposed here to compensate and focus the wideband spatio-temporal data into a single narrow frequency band. This is made possible by operating with a pre-computed frequency focusing matrix that transforms the data from various frequency slots that are spread across the entire wideband region into a common narrowband frequency for the array outputs.

The pillow case may include a first pocket attached to the top, and a second pocket attached to the bottom. The pillow case may have a main inner chamber located within the pillow case, such that a pillow cushion can be located within the pillow case. The first pocket may run substantially along an entire width of the pillow case, and the second pocket may run substantially along an entire length of the pillow case. The pillow case and cushion can be inserted into the first or second pockets. A variety of pillow configurations can be created from this apparatus.

The periphery has a first slot and a substantially opposing second slot. Each of the first and second slots is sized to permit a first end of a tape located on a roll to be slid through it. A tape holder may be connected to the container so that the tape holder lies outside of the cavity of the container. The roll of tape can be placed on the tape holder so when the tape is pulled through the “mud box”, the tape is thereby unwound. As the tape is manually pulled through the “mud box”, joint compound is thinly applied to one side of the tape. As this is done, the joint compound begins to “adhere” to the tape, conditioning the tape for excellent wall adhesion.

Abstract: A lighting system comprised of a central controller, a digital communications path, and a plurality of image projection lighting devices (IPLDs) is provided. The IPLDs contain cameras that can capture both visible light and infrared light. Address signals sent from the central controller first address a particular IPLD and then command signals sent from the central controller control an infrared blocking filter to be positioned in and out of a camera optical path of the particular addressed IPLD.

In one embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus is provided including first, second, third, and fourth devices. The first and third devices may be conventional mounting brackets for conventional blinds. The second and fourth devices may attach to the first and third devices, respectively, to allow a curtain rod or bracket to be attached.

The receiver output signal has a receiver output signal waveform that describes an output signal to interference to noise ratio (SINR) performance. Bandwidth and signal energy of the transmit signal are reduced simultaneously by modifying the transmit signal waveform and receiver output signal waveforms without sacrificing the output SINR performance level.
