Abstract: The present invention relates to an electronic device (301) in which acceleration of data processing operations is provided, the device comprising a secure execution environment to which access is controlled. A basic idea of the present invention is to provide a device (311) for acceleration of data processing operations (an “accelerator”). In particular, the accelerator is used to accelerate cryptographic data operations such that it performs cryptographic operations on data provided to it via a first logical interface. The cryptographic operations are performed by means of encryption/decryption keys provided to the accelerator via a secure second logical interface which may share a same physical interface (312) with the first logical interface or which may use a distinct physical interface (414) from that of a distinct physical interface (412) used as the first logical interface.

The viscoelastic material (4) is attached on a bearer material that is attached to the surface (5) of the shaft (2).
Abstract: An auto-exposure algorithm for controlling a camera flash uses image processing to identify important areas of the image affected by the flash, while disregarding highly reflective/illuminated areas and uses a ND filter to linearize the flash triggering with highly reflective scenes. The camera flash is controlled by the auto-exposure algorithm in two stages: a pre-flash stage followed by a main-flash stage. In the pre-flash stage, two images are captured under the same camera settings regarding the exposure time, gain, iris and resolution. One image is captured with flash and one without. From the difference between the two images, a reference pixel is used to determine the flash intensity in the main-flash stage.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for ensuring data transmission security between a first and a second communication device in short-range wireless communication. To set up a secure data transmission connection, the communication devices conduct a key exchange stage to generate at least one shared key between the communication devices. After said key exchange stage at least a first and a second check string is formed, said strings being based at least on a unique short random string and on the keys generated in each communication device at said key exchange stage. Thus, the security of the connection that is set up is ensured by comparing the correspondence of said check strings. The invention also relates to a communication system and a communication device, in which the method will be applied.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for measuring a first voltage and a second voltage by means of a differential voltmeter. The differential voltmeter comprises a first inlet and a second inlet and a known voltage potential is applied to the second inlet. The voltage measurement comprises the following; a first voltage is applied to a first inlet of the differential voltmeter, a first differential voltage is measured, the first voltage from the measured first differential voltmeter and the known voltage potential is determined, the second voltage is applied to the second inlet of the differential voltmeter, a second differential voltage is measured, and the second voltage from the measured second differential voltage and the previously determined first voltage is determined.
Abstract: An imaging architecture has a memory module to store raw images for the pre-processing stage. The raw image from the output of the pre-processing block may be compressed by a compressor before the image is stored in the memory module. Furthermore, the raw image in the memory is subject to pre-processing as many times as needed or desired. Thus, a decompressor may be operatively connected to the memory module to retrieve the stored image and to decompress the retrieved image before providing the image to the pre-processing block. In the imaging architecture, a loop formed by the memory module, the decompressor, the pre-processing block and the compressor allows the image to be pre-processed multiple times. The imaging architecture can be coupled to the main processor and post-processor in an imaging device for further processing the image data for display or for transmission.

Support poles are installed on four corners of the bottom plate and include corner casts on upper portions thereof. An extension plate extends from a side of the bottom plate and supports vehicles so that vehicles can be loaded in the width direction of the bottom plate.
Abstract: A method and system for identifying and transmitting data entities in a wireless communication system including at least one mobile user terminal. The method includes the steps of identifying a primary service to be provided, identifying a plurality of data entities associated with that service, selecting which of the plurality of data entities is to be transmitted and transmitting the selected data entities in a single transaction.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for adjusting the pixel colors of a digital image. After the raw image data from the digital image is white-balanced, the white-balanced image data is conveyed to a color correction module as color vectors in a color space for color adjustment using a color correction matrix. The color adjustment is based on a plurality of base matrices, wherein at least two of the base matrices are different from each other, and a plurality of weighting values, one weighting value for each base matrix. With the base matrices and the weighting values, a correction matrix can be derived from the sum of the base matrices weighted with said weighting values and applied to at least some of the color vectors.
Abstract: For supporting the provision of a continuous stream of assistance data for a satellite signal based positioning, a sequence of interlinked messages comprising assistance data is generated. The messages are provided for transmission to a wireless communication terminal. The wireless communication terminal receives the sequence of interlinked messages and provides the assistance data in the received messages for use in positioning computations.

Abstract: A bidirectional fiber optic probe comprises an optical in/out coupler and a single fiber or a bundle of fibers, each fiber having a proximal end and a distal end and a numerical aperture NA=sin ?. The numerical aperture NA describes the range of angles over which the optical fiber's proximal end can accept or emit light. The numerical aperture depends on the refractive index n of the fiber core and is given by NA=n sin* ?. ? is the acceptance angle being defined as the half angle of the acceptance cone of the fiber at its proximal end.
Abstract: A motion sensor is used to sense the movement of the camera during an exposure period. The camera has an image sensor to form one or more exposures. When the movement is within a certain range, the exposures are used to provide one or more frames so that an image can be constructed based on the frames. In one embodiment, the exposure period is divided into several short intervals in order to capture several image frames and only the image frames captured when the position of the camera is within a predetermined range are used to form the final image. The exposure time for each frame is small in order to reduce the motion blur degradation of the individual frames. If the camera is stable and substantially stationary relative to the scene, then all or many of the shorter frames are used to form the final image.
Abstract: A method of sending feedback information in a fast physical layer hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) for frequency division duplex communications that form an overall wireless communication system is described in which the received packets are acknowledged by transmitting feedback data to the sender, wherein the acknowledgement comprises the reservation of obtaining a plurality of slots in the uplink/downlink dedicated channel radio frame for the feedback data alone. It is also directed to the transmission of feedback data used in specified slots within each radio frame, wherein the first slot used is based upon the time offset between uplink and downlink channels, as well as based upon the time required for de-interleaving, de-ratematching, decoding and error checking. In an alternative embodiment, the method uses dedicated physical control channel (DPCCH) bits in at least some of the slots for transmitting such feedback data to the sender.
