Abstract: Apparatus for generating a stream or burst of air through a vehicle mounted bubble dispensing nozzle and controlled by a remote transmitter which generates signals for receipt by a receiver mounted on the vehicle for controlling the generation of the bubbles and movement of the vehicle is disclosed.
Abstract: A cover for fitting over the open end of a can, glass, cup or carton type beverage container which employs a straw extending into the container for siphoning liquid therefrom and an impeller mounted in a trough in the housing forming a part of the cover for connecting to and rotating a display device, the improvement including the utilization of an air stream into the cover and against the impeller created by the negative pressure created in the container upon withdrawal of beverage therefrom for rotating the impeller.
Abstract: A hollow illuminable ball formed of a resilient foam material having a battery, bulb and an on/off switch mounted in its hollow interior with the switch operable by finger of a user compressing the foam material juxtapositioned the switch for selectively actuating the switch for illuminating the ball.
Abstract: This invention is directed to a tool comprising a pair of hand grasping juxtapositioned rods which are clamped together for movement under spring bias one relative to the other. A pair of heads are mounted one on each of the common ends of the rods for grasping therebetween the grid of a barbecue grill.
Abstract: A rotary heat driven device comprising a rotor having sections thereof mounted on a common shaft one within and off center of each of the associated axially aligned chambers. One section comprises an engine, the other a compressor and the third a liquid pump. Each section of the rotor has at least one reciprocating vane mounted to extend through and diagonally out of each of the rotor sections with vane member positioned on the ends of each vane for following along the surface of an oblong opening in each of the chambers.
Abstract: A tube coupling comprising a male member having a spherical surface at one end for extending into the flared end of a tube with a female member threadedly connected to the male member for providing a clearance space between the spherical surface of the male member and an appropriately configured and sized inside surface of the female member. A unique ferrule having a pair of concentric, spaced apart contact surfaces is mounted in the clearance space between the inside surface of the female member and the flared end of the tube when the spherical seat of the male member is within the flared end of the tube. Upon tightening of the female member on the male member, the ferrule causes the flared end of the tube to deform between its concentric, spaced apart contact surfaces and conform to the spherical seat of the male member to effect sealing.
Abstract: An improved support for potted plants comprising a vertical post formed of one or more hollow sections secured to a horizontal apertured anchor plate. The anchor plate, which rests on the bottom of the pot, is held in place by the weight of the soil in the pot. The vertical post is extendable in length by the addition of post segments. The section of the post in the pot is apertured to provide feeding ports for the plant and the sections are interconnected by a coupling having tabs extending laterally thereof for anchoring plant ties.
Abstract: An air conditioning system employing an air conditioning unit the conditioned air of which is obtained from an associated evaporative cooler under the influence only of the refrigeration unit's fan or blower.
Abstract: A process for electronically producing high quality color brochures and other color documents containing color images and related text material using a personal computer for contacting through telephone lines a print center which has digital optical images stored in both low and high resolution form on optical storage media. Communication with a telecommunication processor of the print center over the telephone lines results in initial optical transmission from the print center to the customer of a low resolution compressed image with printing occuring sequentially at the print center of a high resolution uncompressed image and associated text material.
Abstract: A device for scooping up and containing dog excreta for later removal comprising two engaging parts one part of which serves as a scoop for use in scraping and excreta into the hollow interior of the other part. A handle comprising two parts is provided which parts individually serve to each support a different one of the parts and when the parts are moved into engagement interlock to form a single handle for supporting the assembled device.
Abstract: An accumulator for oil, water and/or sea life comprising an elongated hull having an inlet at one end thereof and an outlet at the other end thereof with the inlet comprising a sluice gate. A cover comprising a float means is used for controlling the vertical position and buoyancy of the accumulator relative to an associated craft.
