Abstract: A utensil storage stand, which comprises a base, a column extending away from the base, a distal end on the column, and utensil engaging means rotatably mounted on the column. The utensil engaging means is rotatably mounted on the distal end of the column by a ball bearing arrangement comprising plastic races cooperating with plastic or ceramic bearings interposed between the races. The utensil engagement means comprises a first set of radially extending spokes with enlarged perforations through the spokes and a second set of radially extending spokes providing utensil support hooks extending from the spokes. The utensil engagement means is rotatably mounted with respect to column having an axis substantially perpendicular to the plane of the base. The open body of the utensil engagement means creates a canister for the purpose of containing small kitchen items with the disc top acting as the floor or bottom of the canister.

Abstract: Content delivery system that aggregates and delivers text, audio and video and other content to an end-user from a library of past and current content. A user can actively provide information to the system without utilizing multiple steps or the system can guide content creation from a content originator. A single or limited action content request from a user to the content originator simultaneously collects various information from the user without additional user action. The system collects implicit and explicit content from the source where a content originator can indicate content that should appear a delivery system which originates on other delivery systems. The system automatically reads content and assigns it to a specific category and allows the content originator to further edit said content. Content is delivered to a user through implicit and explicit triggers and excludes content or makes available content depending on user history and other variables.

Abstract: The inventive methodology provides an integrated plug and play solution designed to protect home networks against spam, phishing emails, viruses, spyware as well as other similar threats. The described content filtering appliance can be used for processing of web and email traffic implemented and can be deployed as a stand-alone appliance. In one implementation, the content processing appliance utilizes backend content filtering provided by a remote scanning service accessed via a network. The system employs network level analysis and translation of content and executes various procedures to handle the network traffic. In an embodiment of the invention, the appliance is provided with an automatic remote updating capability, wherein the software and data used by the appliance can be updated remotely via a network. Finally, the appliance may also implement parental controls.

Abstract: A system and method for calculating graphite material usage and labor pricing including the following parameters: category, material, class, dimensions, and quantity. The information is used for improved efficiency via web-based graphite purchasing. The method takes into consideration the additional labor cost when very small dimensions are entered which require special work holding containment. The process requires that the user make a selection for each of the parameters so a validation step can occur ensuring the desired product can be manufactured and an accurate labor charge or quote can be provided. During the calculation step, the labor surface area is applied to the labor cost based on the calculated surface area which is derived from a second degree equation derived by a linear regression curve that is applied to the labor cost based on the calculated surface area. After the calculation step the price each and total quantity price is returned.

Abstract: Multiple-tier omnidirectional solid-state emission source capable of dispersing light in flexible distributions or custom-intensity distributions which throw more light forward, to the side alternatively, or in all directions. This optical light control requires multiple-surface manipulation of the directions of the light energy bundles emerging from solid-state light sources. Producing uniform light up to 325 degrees in the vertical direction through the combined implementation of multi-stage light guiding for remote source elongation and multiple-tiers of TIR, refraction, and scatter for remote source emission and control. Combining the efficient light production of an LED chip with that of a directly coupled optic results in high efficiency custom distribution to direct light where required.

Abstract: A rubber or synthetic texture sleeve that fits loosely over the existing grip. It is made from typical grip material for the application with the exception of having a smooth or textured interior and being oversized for the handle. The sleeve may be used with an interior liner between the handle and the grip for additional cushioning. The length of the sleeve will vary, but can be cut to fit the specific application. The sleeve fits loosely around the bat grip and does not replace or modify the existing grip or bat handle. The degree of twist is determined by the give in the material used allowing for a stronger grip because the friction normally generated from rotating hands around a stationary grip is reduced dramatically. The sleeve reduces vibration because of the increased padding and ability to have a stronger grip.

Abstract: An open ocean floating algae farm built around a ship. The ship provides propulsion power for navigation, storage capacity for materials and algae products, machinery for harvesting and processing the algae, housing for crew, and facilities for maintenance of the floating farm. The invention is also comprised of transparent tubes that circulate a broth of seawater saturated with CO2, nutrients, and algae. The circulation path flows from the ship through the tubes and back to the ship where the algae is filtered out to be processed. The fields of transparent tubes circulating the algae broth are supported by a square matrix of pressurized tubes filled with seawater. This matrix is neutrally buoyant and submerged just below the ocean surface. The internal pressure in the tubes causes the matrix to be stiff in the horizontal plane, but flexible in the vertical dimension so as to conform to long ocean waves.

Abstract: The security enhanced data platform is comprised of two primary subsystems and a host of supporting subsystems. The first primary subsystem is a document management system. A set of client side tools provides the user a way to specify classifications and compartments for selected areas of a document, and a way to save the document in the format required by the system in order to allow the system to enforce the rules and privileges dictated to the system. The second subsystem is a security enhanced database management system. In documents the system allows different user privilege requirements on the document as a whole as well as on pages, paragraphs, sentences, words, and/or letters of a word. A history of document changes is maintained to provide an audit trail after the fact of who did what changes, where those changes were made and when those changes were made.

Abstract: A self-contained oral vibrator featuring an elastomeric band that is generally used as a sexual novelty apparatus. The apparatus is made of two basic parts. The first part, the integrated vibrator, is comprised of a motor used to cause vibration, a small battery power source and an external barrel 4. Abstract: It is the objective of the current invention to provide a system that will allow Users to contact Service Providers in specific fields. The User will choose a Service Provider via an Internet-based icon from within any one of a broad base of Internet interfaces maintained by the system or the Service Provider. Once a Service Provider is chosen, a pop-up window will appear telling that User if the Service Provider is available. If the Service Provider is available the system will connect the User with the Service Provider. If the Service Provider is unavailable the system will prompt the User to try again later or send an e-mail to the Service Provider.

Abstract: The kitchen tool is composed of: a handle, a support yoke, and a crushing plate. The handle is connected to the support yoke. The support yoke is shaped to form a parabolic arch with arms that are biased to spring inward or outward in an alternative embodiment. The end of each arm has a mounting hole along with three locking holes. These pivot axles are connected to the mounting holes on the support yoke arms. The holes and posts are arranged such that they for two positions for the device. In a first position the crushing plate is place is a position perpendicular to the support yoke arms. In a second position the crushing plate is place is a position parallel to the support yoke which makes the device's profile much thinner and easier to fit into a standard kitchen drawer.

Abstract: The apparatus of the present invention consists of a MicroPower Radar (MPR), a data acquisition (DAQ) element and a PDA. The radar sends a short, low-amplitude signal of radio-frequency (RF) energy toward the target scene. This signal reflects from the target and is received as a Doppler change. RF has the advantages of penetrating clothing while operating at one fiftieth the power of a cellular or cordless phone. This Doppler change in signal amplitude is filtered, amplified and presented to the DAQ. The DAQ converts the analog Doppler signal into a digital bit-stream and passed to the processor. Proprietary software analysis is performed to further filter and to make a Live/Dead determination. The radar antenna is located at the back of the device and should be pointed toward the victim, the display facing the operator.
