  • Patent number: 7739172
Abstract: The present invention discloses the use of an improved stop-loss and trailing stop-loss order system. Existing systems only allow one stop-loss or trailing stop-loss value to be used resulting in the complete liquidation of the investment once the value is breached. The improved system of the present invention involves the use of two or more different protection levels per security, some of which may adjust based on the current share price of an investment and some which remain static. Thus, the stop-loss and trailing stop-loss system of the present invention allows for an investment to be liquidated over time in an incremental fashion as opposed to complete liquidation of an investment at one time. The improved stop-loss and trailing stop-loss order system is completely adjustable based on the risk tolerance of the client and is based on an amount instead of a percentage. In a preferred embodiment is used in conjunction with an electronic portfolio management system.

  • Patent number: 7555106
Abstract: A system and method for automatically dynamically creating an extension number associated to an assigned telephone number to enable precise, efficient and scalable tracking of the origin of a telephone call from a prospect to an advertiser within a voice communication-based performance advertising multi-advertisement, multi-publisher framework. The present invention remedies the shortcomings of the prior art by generating the extension number dynamically and automatically based on an algorithm that defines an advertiser account, individual advertisement and the publisher, thereby allowing a most efficient and scalable method for tracking calls in such a framework. This current invention can be utilized to bring the number of necessary assigned telephone numbers for a system containing 100 advertisers with 99 advertisements each, published by 99 different publishers from the 980,100 required in the old system to just 100 telephone numbers. And this efficiency is exponentially realized.

  • Patent number: 7511626
Abstract: The present invention combines a residential elevator and automatic pet door with an intelligence component comprised of a Programmable Logic Controller with programmed intelligence that enables interoperability between the residential elevator and automatic pet door. In practice a pet will wear a collar with an attached or embedded transmitter. As the pet approaches the elevator door, the swing door will open and the accordion gate will open. If the elevator is at another level when the pet approaches, a call will be submitted to bring the elevator to the pet's level. The swing door and gate will open automatically when the elevator arrives. The gate and door will remain open long enough for the pet to enter the elevator and close automatically. The call to another floor will automatically be submitted to the elevator based on the current floor location.

  • Patent number: 7483849
Abstract: Discloses is the use of a stop-loss and trailing stop-loss triggers utilizing a dynamic price-adjusting feature. Existing systems known in the art only allow one static stop-loss value to be used resulting in complete liquidation of the investment once the value is breached. The system of the present invention involves the use of two or more different protection levels per security, some of which may adjust based on the current share price of an investment and some which remain static, associates a liquidation percentage with each protection level and a dynamic adjusting module which allows a target growth rate to be set for at the security, class, category, account and client level that can then be used to dynamically adjust the settings of the protection levels and their associated liquidation percentages in real-time.

  • Patent number: 7398187
Abstract: System that automatically captures, processes, archives, reports on and distributes data for any computerized equipment at a facility. A single data repository is provided so any authorized user connected to the company/facility network can query secure data. Once data is collected it is batched or grouped according to user-defined rules. A batch is given a distinct number to identify the data. Data is automatically analyzed in near real-time utilizing user-defined modeling code. This code can be simple or complex as needed to compare the batch data against an ideal model. Users can view or trend data and access reports including adding electronic signatures. Additional process information such as standard operating procedures and cycle descriptions may be uploaded and attached to a batch. Any action a user performs that creates, modifies or deletes data in the data repository is audited.

  • Patent number: 7394011
Abstract: The present invention teaches a machine and process that generates music given a set of simple user-specified criteria. The present invention enables music generation wherein a user may specify the duration and tempo of the music to be generated that may then be played or stored for retrieval and use at a later time and does not require the user to be a skilled composer of music. The present invention allows the user to generate music in a very short period of time wherein the music generated by also has beginnings and endings that occur in a manner that is esthetically appropriate. In addition, transitions within the generated music occur in a manner that is esthetically appropriate. Music generated by the present invention also has unique qualities that are desirable to users that use music in their own products or works.

  • Patent number: 7387237
Abstract: The present invention is banking device that has a slot on the top surface to accept coins and contains therein a locking reservoir for the collection of change. A money sorter is used to count the deposited money. The reservoir is “keyed” and can only be opened by the local bank, where an account is held, or by parents, if the account is held by a minor. At the time of deposit, the electric money sorter, via the computer connection, contacts the local bank's online banking system to process and record the deposits and beings earning interest that is then credited after deposit of money into the bank account. If the reservoir is emptied prior to deposit, credits and interest are lost and can only be resumed after equal deposit is made at the bank.

  • Patent number: 7302887
Abstract: A kitchen hand tool for crushing, slicing, or juicing food products. The tool is operated by closing two handles that rotate a drive gear that engages the ratcheting tooth portion of a crush paddle resulting in the movement of the crush paddle toward a basket, crushing and discharge of the food item through the basket. A drive pawl forces the drive gear to rotate counterclockwise, which in turn forces ratcheting tooth portion and subsequently the crushing paddle down in a clockwise direction applying crushing force on the garlic or any item placed in the crushing area. As the drive gear turns until it clicks past a locking pawl. This cycle of opening and closing the handles is repeated until the crush paddle is fully advanced and can move no further and is against the basket.

  • Patent number: 7257907
Abstract: A custom moldable insole comprising a first chamber containing a silicone base and a second chamber containing a catalyst. Both fluids are forced to pass though a shared static mixing channel where they will thoroughly mix and flow into a third chamber. The third chamber is a continuation of the mixer that opens up into a bag to hold the silicone as it flows to the arch and metatarsal areas of the foot in the upper layer of the insole. Within a few minutes as the user stands wearing the shoe the silicone cures to the shape of the bottom of the wearers foot providing increase support and comfort.

  • Patent number: 7213797
Abstract: A deck board straightener is taught which is comprised of a main rod part connected to a handle at one end and a flat steel plate at the opposing end. The flat plate is comprised of two shoulders that consist of the bent edges of the flat plate but could also be shoulder elements separately attached to the flat plate. The shoulders can spaced at a fixed distance apart or be made adjustable to allow for use on a varying material thickness. A securing screw can be placed through one shoulder to provide additional material securing means. A pressure jaw is attached to the flat steel plate and a quick-grip mini bar clamp in a manner that also allows for rotating movement. When in use, the pressure jaw secures material such as a deck board against the flat plate and shoulders.
