  • Patent number: 7942447
Abstract: Various embodiments of reduced-size vehicles such as all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and utility vehicles (UVs) are disclosed herein. In at least some embodiments, the vehicles include frames that are wider near the front and rear sections of the vehicles than within the mid-sections of the vehicles. This, in combination with the use of shock-absorbers that are substantially vertically oriented, allows for the opening-up of large interior cavities within the front and rear sections of the vehicles within which can be positioned large front and rear internal compartments that can provide storage/carrying capacity as well as added buoyancy for the vehicle, among other things. Also, in at least some embodiments, the vehicles can include special cooling and/or exhaust systems having components that are positioned substantially within the mid-sections of the vehicles, thus further increasing the amounts of space available for the cavities/compartments within the front and rear sections of the vehicles.

  • Patent number: 7935242
Abstract: An electrolyte solution, methods, and systems for selectively removing a conductive metal from a substrate are provided. The electrolyte solution comprising nanoparticles that are more noble than the conductive metal being removed, is applied to a substrate to remove the conductive metal selectively relative to a dielectric material without application of an external potential or contact of a processing pad with the surface of the substrate. The solutions and methods can be applied, for example, to remove a conductive metal layer (e.g., barrier metal) selectively relative to dielectric material and to a materially different conductive metal (e.g., copper interconnect) without application of an external potential or contact of a processing pad with the surface of the substrate.

  • Patent number: 7892639
Abstract: Multi-layer, edge ingress, tamper- and solvent-indicating labels comprise a top film layer coated over a solvent, e.g., water, hydrocarbon, etc., and dye absorbing layer. The solvent and dye absorbing layer can be on top of a porous layer comprising a binder, pigment and particles of a solvent-soluble dye. The porous layer can be on top of an edge-wicking layer which itself is on top of a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) layer. The edge-wicking layer both absorbs and transports solvent thus serving as a means for transporting solvent to the solvent-soluble dye.
