A first bracket includes a pair of channel shaped sections extending angularly from an intermediate channel section. The second bracket includes a planar face plate and a pair of upstanding tabs extending generally perpendicular thereto.
Abstract: An impact resistant shutter assembly, such as Bahama and Colonial-style shutter assemblies, for protecting glass of external openings of a structure, where the shutter assembly is resistant to damage by flying debris from high wind storms and hurricanes, said shutter assembly designed to meet governmental building code requirements for resistance to flying debris from hurricanes. The shutter assembly comprises a generally rectangular frame fabricated of a light-weight metal, such as aluminum, having a pair of side members, and top and bottom members. Extending between and into the side members are a plurality of angled slats, where the ends of the angled slats are anchored within the side members by a pair of rod members passing through apertures in proximity to the slat ends. Optionally, a locking mechanism may be provided to secure a pair of shutter assemblies during the periods of high winds and hurricanes.
Abstract: A trailer mounted and adjustable mirror assembly for attachment to a trailer or hitch being towed by a towing vehicle. The assembly, when secured, helps facilitate securement of the trailer to the towing vehicle while the driver/operator remains in the towing vehicle. The assembly comprises a removable clamp mounting a pair of adjustable, telescopic tubular members on which is mounted a pivotal mirror mechanism pivotal throughout 360° and countless angles relative to the plane of the pivotal mirror mechanism.
Abstract: A single pill dispensing system for a bottle/vial of the type for dispensing a medication pill, where the bottle/vial has a circular body and receives a circular cap. To facilitate the dispensing of a single pill, an insert, slidably received in the circular body and circular cap is provided. The insert includes a body portion containing a circuitous channel of a size to accommodate a single pill as the user inverts or turns over the container body to capture and subsequently transfer the pill through the insert to a nesting recess in the lower surface of the circular cap.
Abstract: An adapter mechanism for removably mounting to a ground supported hoisting device to facilitate the removal, repair and reinstallation of a weighted mass, such as a vehicle transmission. The adapter mechanism includes an open peripheral frame for removable mounting to the hoisting device, and plural, laterally movable, pivotally mounted supports, pivotal about 360 degrees to provide support and balance to the transmission. Further, the adapter mechanism includes a strap encircling mechanism that includes a flexible U-shaped channel member that conforms to the secured transmission.
Abstract: A portable and stabilized foot rest for positioning on a supporting surface, such as a floor, or the like. The foot rest comprises a generally, rectangularly shaped housing mounting a pair of V-configured legs recessible within the housing in a storage or transporting mode, and extendible for use in a foot supporting mode. Plural releasable locking mechanisms are provided to secure the foot rest in the respective modes.
