    Abstract: The present invention provides an anaerobic curing composition comprising a monofunctional or multifunctional acrylate or methacrylate as a polymerizable monomer having at least one functional vinyl group, 0.1 to 10 percent by weight of an organic peroxide and 0.1 to 10 percent by weight of at least one aromatic amine having a pKa of 6.5 to 9.0, based on the total weight of the monomer, which may be stored as a liquid for a long time and cures rapidly at anaerobic conditions, to form a strong bond between adjacent surfaces of, especially, metals, so that it is useful as an adhesive and sealant for metals.

    Abstract: A novel automated filter cleaning system capable of removing contaminants clogging the filter disk without having to resort to the operator's manual operation is disclosed. The system comprises a turntable or filter magazine for holding the filter disks in a stacked condition, a first ultrasonic cleaner for applying an ultrasonic field to one side of the filter disk, a second ultrasonic cleaner for applying an ultrasonic field to the other side of the filter disk, a water injection cleaner for removing residual contaminants from the ultrasonically cleansed filter disk, a robotic carrier for transporting the filter disk from a particular station to another, and a controller for controlling the overall operation of the filter cleaning system. A method is also provided for cleaning the filter disk by a combined action of ultrasonic treatment and water injection.

    Abstract: An automatic rearview mirror for vehicles which is capable of constricting the rearview mirror when it is not used, and capable of drawing out the rearview mirror only when it is required. The rearview mirror comprising an external housing, an internal housing, a protecting glass plate, a mirror plate, packing and scraper, a motor, and two servomotors for adjusting the angle of mirror plate. The external housing is fixed to the interior of the front quarter vent or on the bonnet, and the internal housing is drawn out of the external housing and inserted therein by switching operations performed by the driver. The protecting glass plate is cleaned every time the internal housing is drawn out of and constricted into the external housing by the scraper attached to the opening edge of the external housing so that the mirror can be easily cleaned.

    Abstract: A novel voltage switching device operable under a first and a second source voltages is disclosed. The device, which is capable of converting one of the source voltages to the design voltage of an electrical appliance when the two are different, comprises a connector having voltage indicators representing the first and the second voltage switching positions, respectively; and a voltage switching plug having a groove and a pair of fuses for the different source voltages. The connector, in one of the embodiments, may have two pairs of guide slots arranged in a perpendicular relationship between the two pairs. The plug may have a pair of complementary members apt to be selectively engaged with any one pair of the slots when the plug is coupled with the connector. The plug can be accurately coupled with the connector in the first or the second source voltage position based on a simple reading of the corresponding voltage indicator through the groove provided in the cover.
