Abstract: A safety gate mounting kit is disclosed for use in the installation of a safety gate to a post, such as a newel post or similar structure, such kit having a first pair of clamping members for attachment to a top portion of a rectangular post and a second pair of clamping members for attachment to a lower portion of a rectangular post. First and second round post adapters for positioning around opposite sides of a round section of the post are provided for insertion between one pair of the clamping members. A wooden gate attachment member is provided to be attached to the first and second clamping members to which wooden gate attachment member the assembly/attachment hardware of a safety gate can be attached.
Abstract: A device for preventing water seepage over a foundation wall of a building, such device having first and second L-shaped members disposed facing each other with the base of one resting on the base of the other with a conduit resting on the upper base for the receipt and direction of water away from the foundation wall.
Abstract: A racquet string tension identification device and method for mounting on a stringed racquet utilizing a color coding system to denote the original string tension range in tens of pounds and having nine indicia areas with the number of additional pounds of tension to be added to the tension range depending upon how many of such indicia areas are marked.
Abstract: A structure and kit and method of use are disclosed of a plurality of interegaging panels forming a plurality of open-topped compartments, such structure adapted for positioning within a bucket for storage of objects including bait fish.
Abstract: A magnetic resonance imaging equipment stand made of nonmagnetic materials having a supported counterbalanced adjustable angular arm supporting a vertically disposed mounting arm having a mount support thereon for holding selected medical equipment.
Abstract: A four-wheel personal transporter having a collapsible shell and a seat mounted on at least one shaft disposed at the rear end of the device, such shaft(s) movable approximately 90 degrees rearward from an upright position to a storage position and maneuvered into a receipt slot defined in the top portion of the rear shell, and a steering column disposed at the front end of the personal transporter in an upright position for use and rotatable approximately 90 degrees downward to a storage position against the top of the shell when such shell is in its collapsed storage mode, such steering column having a handle usable to pull the device on its front wheels in its storage mode.
Abstract: A boat fender mounting device having a planar member with a slot defined therein for receipt and retention of a rail/cable and at least one rope aperture for receipt and retention of the first end of a rope for supporting a boat fender at its second end at a desired height against the hull of a boat.
Abstract: An expandable centralizer is disclosed having a body having a first portion of circular cross-section and a second portion of polyhedral cross-section. Centralizing members are arranged on the faces of the second portion which, in a first position, limit the diameter of the tool so that it can pass through small openings in a wellbore. The centralizing members can then be moved hydraulically across the faces to extend and provide support for the expandable downhole tool in larger openings within the wellbore.
Abstract: A lobster trap having at least two lobster feeding chambers separated from one another with no direct or indirect access from one lobster feeding chamber to the other(s), each lobster feeding chamber having a lobster trap head to the exterior of the lobster trap and a centrally disposed bait well accessible to each lobster feeding chamber, such lobster trap characterized by the lack of a parlor chamber.
Abstract: An exercise device having dual pedals wherein each pedal operates in a rotary manner in a vertical plane parallel to the bilateral axis of the user with each of the user's feet disposed, respectively, on a different one of the dual pedals.
Abstract: A water recycling system and method of use is disclosed for use in a building having a basement with water seepage accumulating in a sump area by providing a holding tank which receives water pumped by a sump pump for later use either in the interior or exterior of the building.
Abstract: An ice hockey training device providing goalie training in preventing pucks, particularly deflected or “tipped” pucks, from entering the goal is disclosed. The device is disposed on a playing surface in front of a goal guarded by a goalie, the device having a plurality of vertically disposed puck deflectors arrayed in a parallel series through which array the puck is shot at the goal by a player and strikes a puck deflector member to be deflected at an angle from its original path of travel. The device can also include a base deflector resting on the playing surface which provides a planar surface disposed at an upward angle which can direct pucks hit by a player traveling on the playing surface to ride up onto the planar surface of the base deflector and be directed upwards at the goal. A plurality of angle members can be disposed on the base deflector to further deflect at different angles pucks traveling thereon.
Abstract: A repeat interval, the number of encoding and the number of excitations are set in a processor by inputting from a keyboard before the start of image acquisition. The image acquisition duration is calculated using these set parameters, and the value corresponding to the image acquisition duration is set in a timer. The timer performs down-counting during image acquisition. A remaining image acquisition duration generated from the timer is displayed on a display and/or is output as voice signals from a voice output unit. Informing the patient of the time remaining until completion of image acquisition reduces the patient's anxiety and thus reduces motion artifacts.
