  • Patent number: 8336027
Abstract: Indexing domains of a declarative application with view state information for the domain to enable persisting the view state of the declarative application. The domains are organized in a tree. Each domain is built by a configuration builder. The method includes indexing a domain of a declarative application by indexing a path name in an index. The path name includes a path name of the parent domain of the domain; an identifier of the configuration builder used to build the domain; and an identifier of one or more local decisions made by the configuration builder when creating the domain. The method further includes correlating a unique identifier key to the path name in the index and correlating view state information for the domain to the unique key identifier.

  • Patent number: 8333859
Abstract: An efficient lamination presses can rapidly heat and precisely control the temperature of a laminate assembly to create final products with excellent structural and aesthetic properties. Specifically, an efficient lamination press can include a radiant heating assembly. The radiant heating assemblies can uniformly heat one or more platens using radiation. The platens in turn can comprise material having a high thermal conductivity, which can allow them to quickly transfer heat to a laminate assembly. The platens can further comprise one or more fluid channels that enable rapid cooling. The rapid heating and cooling capability can enable fast processing times for laminate panels at much lower energy levels than with conventional presses.

  • Patent number: 8336021
Abstract: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for managing set membership. A set definition is translated into one or more membership conditions. Each membership condition includes statements about the attributes of a resource that are to be true if the resource is to be included in the set. For any given resource request, resources touched by the request are compared to membership conditions applicable to the touched resources. Thus, embodiments of the invention minimize the work that is done to determine which sets a resource may or may not belong to whenever a resource is modified. Accordingly, based on available resources, embodiments of the invention can scale to accommodate larger numbers of sets and larger numbers of potential members of sets.

  • Patent number: 8331799
Abstract: A non-feedback pre-encoder for optical DQPSK modulation includes four differential encoders, two power splitters, two delay lines, one exclusive OR gate and a cross switch. Each of two data streams input to the pre-encoder is divided into two identical streams by one of the power splitter, called an upper stream and a lower stream, respectively. Every upper stream is differentially encoded by one of the differential encoders, and outputs of the differential encoders are fed into the XOR gate. An output of the XOR gate drives the cross switch as a control signal. Two lower input data stream are delayed in the delay lines, and fed into the cross switch. The outputs of the cross switch are differentially encoded, separately, where outputs of the pre-encoder are provided. The invention eliminates the speed limitation due to the electrical propagation by constructing an all-forward control signal.

  • Patent number: 8327332
Abstract: In an embodiment, a computer system initiates an application debugging process for an application that is to be debugged and maps runtime object elements of the application to both code elements and graphical elements. The computer system appends portions of software code to each runtime object element so that a runtime event is outputted indicating which corresponding graphical or code element is currently being processed. The computer system accesses the outputted runtime events to determine which graphical or code element is currently being processed and, based on the accessed outputted runtime events and based on the mappings, displays the elements currently being debugged in a first view. The computer system, based on the accessed outputted runtime events and based on the mappings, switches views from the first view to a second view without restarting the application debugging process for the application being debugged.

  • Patent number: 8326872
Abstract: Systems and methods that qualify and/or restrict access of codes associated with a database to objects located outside thereof and in other databases—even though a person executing such code does in fact have permission to interact with the object that the code is attempting to access. A sandbox component can regulate access from one database to another database, by managing authenticator permission and/or trust permission levels. Hence, the set of privileges assigned to security execution context of an executable module (procedure, trigger, computed column) in an un-trusted database is restricted not to exceed a privilege set assigned to database owner.

  • Patent number: 8323298
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for suturing of body lumens allow the suturing of vascular puncture sites located at the distal end of a percutaneous tissue tract. An elongated articulated foot near a distal end of a shaft is inserted through the penetration and actuated so that the foot extends along the lumenal axis. The foot carries suturing attachment cuffs, and needles are advanced from the shaft through the vessel wall outside of the penetration and into engagement with the needle cuffs after the foot has been drawn proximally up against the endothelial surface of the blood vessel. The cross-section of the shaft within the tissue tract can be minimized by laterally deflecting the needles as they leave the shaft, while tapered depressions within the foot can guide the advancing needles into engagement with the cuffs. The cuffs lockingly engage the needles and can be withdrawn proximally along the needle paths and through the tissue tract so as to form a loop of suture across the puncture.
