Abstract: An inner top corner connector for a container body includes an angled fitting of elastic material. An inner roof sheet connecting portion of the angled fitting has a first end portion bending toward the inner roof sheet and includes an outer seal blade inclining toward the inner roof sheet and the first end portion of the inner roof sheet connecting portion. An inner side panel connecting portion of the angled fitting is provided with a connecting plate for connecting to a top end portion of the inner side panel of the container body. The connecting plate is provided with a guide blade. An inserting groove is defined by the guide blade, the inner side panel connecting portion and a part of the connecting plate, wherein an angle of the angled fitting defined by the inner roof sheet connection portion and the inner side panel connecting portion is 95°-105°.

Abstract: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for managing set membership. A set definition is translated into one or more membership conditions. Each membership condition includes statements about the attributes of a resource that are to be true if the resource is to be included in the set. For any given resource request, resources touched by the request are compared to membership conditions applicable to the touched resources. Thus, embodiments of the invention minimize the work that is done to determine which sets a resource may or may not belong to whenever a resource is modified. Accordingly, based on available resources, embodiments of the invention can scale to accommodate larger numbers of sets and larger numbers of potential members of sets.

Abstract: A sheet material detection apparatus detects passage of a sheet material over a sheet material transportation path. Abstract: An input apparatus has an input unit for receiving a pressure input, a load detection unit for detecting a pressure load on the input unit, a vibration unit for vibrating the input unit, and a control unit for controlling drive of the vibration unit 14 such that a click sensation is provided to an object pressing the input unit when the pressure load detected by the load detection unit satisfies a predetermined standard for receiving an input to the input unit. Thereby, a realistic click sensation similar to that obtained when a push-button switch is operated is provided upon operation of the input unit of a pressure type by an operator.

Abstract: A non-feedback pre-encoder for optical DQPSK modulation includes four differential encoders, two power splitters, two delay lines, one exclusive OR gate and a cross switch. Each of two data streams input to the pre-encoder is divided into two identical streams by one of the power splitter, called an upper stream and a lower stream, respectively. Every upper stream is differentially encoded by one of the differential encoders, and outputs of the differential encoders are fed into the XOR gate. An output of the XOR gate drives the cross switch as a control signal. Two lower input data stream are delayed in the delay lines, and fed into the cross switch. The outputs of the cross switch are differentially encoded, separately, where outputs of the pre-encoder are provided. The invention eliminates the speed limitation due to the electrical propagation by constructing an all-forward control signal.

Abstract: A transport-object transporting device includes a power-transmission blocking mechanism that blocks the transmission of power at an intermediate point of the cam driving gear train so as to maintain the discharge roller in the release position. The power-transmission blocking mechanism includes an engaged portion provided in the rocking arm, and an engaging portion whose engagement position thereof relative to the engaged portion is changeable by changing a rocking direction of the rocking arm. When the engaging portion is set at a predetermined engagement position relative to the engaged portion, the first planetary gear and the second planetary gear are both kept away from the cam driving gear.
Abstract: A process of producing a diamond thin-film includes implanting dopant into a diamond by an ion implantation technique, forming a protective layer on at least part of the surface of the ion-implanted diamond, and firing the protected ion-implanted diamond at a firing pressure of no less than 3.5 GPa and a firing temperature of no less than 600° C. A process of producing a diamond semiconductor includes implanting dopant into each of two diamonds by an ion implantation technique and superimposing the two ion-implanted diamonds on each other such that at least part of the surfaces of each of the ion-implanted diamonds makes contact with each other, and firing the ion implanted diamonds at a firing pressure of no less than 3.5 GPa and a firing temperature of no less than 600° C.

Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the enantioselective enzymatic reduction of secodione derivatives. The secodione derivative is reduced with an oxidoreductase/dehydrogenase in the presence of NADH or NADPH as a cofactor. The secodione derivative is used in the reaction batch at a concentration of ?10 g/l and the oxidized cofactor NAD or NADP formed by the oxidoreductase/dehydrogenase is regenerated continuously.

Abstract: Methods for manufacturing cast titanium helmets include casting a helmet in an oversized mold. The resulting oversized cast helmet is then exposed to a hot isostatic press (HIP) process that applies heat and pressure for a predetermined period of time. The resulting oversized cast helmet is then exposed to an acid bath that chemically mills the helmet to a desired thickness and removes contaminants formed during casting of titanium.
