Abstract: A computer-implemented method of managing electronic documents includes steps of providing a first electronic document, the first document including a plurality of first document content elements; providing a second electronic document, the second document including a plurality of second document content elements; defining a parent-child relation between the first document and the second document to form a hierarchy of electronic documents that includes the first and second electronic documents; defining an override relation to bind a selected first document content element to a selected second document content element, the override relation specifying an override type that determines whether the selected second document content element should be replaced by, appended to the selected first document content element or removed, and enforcing the at least one override relation binding the selected first document content element to the selected second document content element.

Abstract: A method to enable dynamic configuration of gaming terminals installed in one or a plurality of gaming premises whereby certified games, certified data files and certified support software components are activated in accordance with a predetermined schedule or automatically in response to the observed gaming activity. The method may include allocating an individual PKI certificate to each executable software component and each of its versions, binding the PKI certificate to the executable software, associating a distinctive policy for each certificate and then enforcing the software execution policies in accordance with the desired authorized game configuration and schedule. The PKI certificate's “Subject Name” (or “Issued to” field or “CommonName” field) may be a concatenation of the software component identification, its version number and optionally other identification characters. The method applies equally to other network connected gaming subsystems.

Abstract: A combination antitheft—quick lock device for the wheels or saddle rod of a bicycle includes a lever connected to an eccentric and at least one rod having a threaded end for receiving a bearing washer and a nut. The eccentric bears upon and is rotationally linked to the bearing washer and to the threaded rod extending through the hub of the wheel. A guiding channel for at least one ball is formed as a blind channel in the lever, forming an obtuse angle relative to the longitudinal axis thereof. A bore is formed in the axis and opening into the channel and has a shoulder defining a widened recess. An eccentric reversible locking means includes a widened head configured for displacement in the widened recess and a rod guided by the channel and abutting the ball. A spring is disposed between the widened head and the bore shoulder.

Abstract: A universal computer-implemented method for submitting source code to an authorized game certification laboratory. Initial source code and subsequent source code patches may be transferred from the manufacturer's software development environment into the laboratory's software development environment in a controlled fashion using packaging installation technology normally used for deploying software applications. The packaging technology contains automation actions for automating the synchronization and/or management of the source code and related files between the two software development environments. The entirety of the source code or any source code patch sequence may be removed by executing the corresponding uninstall function. The package containing the original source code or the source code patch sequences and related files may be code signed such as to provide persistent proof of origin which may be verified at any time.
