  • Patent number: 8142170
Abstract: A radial piston pump having external loading. The radial piston pump has an inner eccentric which is attached to a rotatable driveshaft, a cylinder block which has positionally fixed cylinder bores aligned radially with respect to the driveshaft, and displacement pistons which are mounted in a longitudinally movable manner in the cylinder bores. The displacement pistons have a piston head with a short casing height, and are mounted with their piston base on the eccentric, in such a way that the piston head, during its longitudinal movement, pivots in a predetermined angle range (??) about the longitudinal central axis of the associated cylinder bore.

  • Patent number: 8127405
Abstract: A reusable hose bundling sleeve is provided that is made of a tightly-woven nylon material coated with urethane. Strips of hooks and loops are adhered and stitched to opposite ends of opposite sides of the sleeve. The reusable hose is installed by wrapping the sleeve around the hoses or cables to be protected such that the strips of hooks and loops align and engage. Notches can be cut along the length of the reusable hose bundling sleeve to allow for shorter hoses or cables traveling within the sleeve to exit. Because of the materials used, the notches will not weaken the fibers and cause fraying. The reusable hose bundling sleeve is removed by separating the strips of hooks and loops and unwrapping the sleeve. The reusable hose bundling sleeve can be installed, removed, and reinstalled quickly and without diminishing the durability of the sleeve. Alternatively, the sleeve may be adapted to be secured and/or hanged.

  • Patent number: 8123452
Abstract: A grain spreading device that uses a pre-spreading device within a cone shaped guide to provide uniform distribution of grain. Specifically, the pre-spreading device has an opening therein such that a distance between the opening and the outer periphery of the pre-spreading device forms a shelf to direct grain toward the opening to provide a uniform distribution of the grain. Additionally, the pre-spreading device can have laser cut knockouts to adjust the pre-spreading device to a plurality of different spreading devices.

  • Patent number: 8123260
Abstract: A latch apparatus for releasably securing a cover member over an access opening in a bulk storage structure. The latch apparatus is pivotally mounted to a cover member and includes a pair of latch members and a latch bar connected to and extending between the latch members. The latch members have a receptacle that receives a catch member and an extension that extends away from the latch member opposite the receptacle. The extension engages the cover member when the latch member is moved from a locked position to an unlocked position to prevent injury to a user.

  • Patent number: 8119070
Abstract: The scent removing device has a housing that forms an interior compartment. The compartment is separated into a first and second portion by a shelf that is disposed within the compartment and connected to the interior of the housing. The shelf has at least one channel and a plurality of openings to permit air to flow between the first and second portions. An air tube extends from the first portion, through the shelf to the second portion. A fan motor is in communication with the air tube to blow air through the air tube and into the second portion.

  • Patent number: 8117837
Abstract: A hydrostatic transmission using a hydrostatic pump, a hydrostatic motor, and a pressure compensating load sensing auxiliary pump. The hydrostatic pump is fluidly connected to the hydrostatic motor using fluid lines and a center section. The hydrostatic pump additionally has an input shaft that drives the hydrostatic pump to provide the hydrostatic motor with power. Additionally, the pressure compensating load sensing auxiliary pump is in line with the hydrostatic pump and is rotated with the input shaft. This configuration allows the input shaft to operate the power takeoff (PTO) shaft while the hydrostatic motor output shaft operates the axles of a vehicle via a differential.

  • Patent number: 8113179
Abstract: An apparatus for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine. The apparatus includes a solid magnetostrictive material with a favored direction of magnetostrictive response formed into a shape with ends that are substantially parallel to each other and substantially perpendicular to the favored direction of magnetostrictive response. A fuel control valve element is located coaxial to the favored direction of magnetoelastic response of the magnetostrictive material, the element opening inwardly. A solenoid coil is located concentric with the magnetostrictive material and coaxial to the favored direction of magnetoelastic response, the solenoid coil adapted to excite the magnetostrictive material into mechanical motion. An excitation signal is provided within the solenoid coil consisting of a main current signal with a superposed alternating signal approximately the width of a hysteresis loop of the solid magnetostrictive material.
