Abstract: A head mounted display is disclosed. More particularly, a head mounted display including one or more projection light sources, one or more eye-tracking light sources, a polarizing beam splitter, and a second polarizing beam splitter is disclosed. Light from the one or more projection light sources and the one or more projection light sources and the one or more eye-tracking light sources are both at least partially reflected by the polarizing beam splitter. An optical path between the polarizing beam splitter and the second polarizing beam splitter passes through air. Abstract: Water-based formulations comprising an indicating composition dispersed in water are described. The water-based indicating compositions include an organic Bi(III) compound, a sulfur source, a carbonate salt, and strontium hydroxide. Formulations further including a resin and/or an acidic additive are also described.
Abstract: A process for producing a sensor for a biomedical electrode (e.g. an ECG electrode) involves injection molding an electrically conductive resin through a film of a backing material to form the sensor directly in the backing material and coating the contact face of the sensor with a non-polarizable conductive material (e.g. silver-containing material). Additional steps of applying an electrolyte over the non-polarizable conductive material coated on the contact face and applying a liner over the electrolyte results in the biomedical electrode. Biomedical electrode produced thereby have the sensor secured in a film of the backing material with a contact face of the sensor disposed on a first side of the film and a post of the sensor protruding from a second side of the film opposite the first side. The process permits production of one-piece sensors for bioelectrodes in a continuous fashion without the need for studs to retain sensors in a film of the backing material.

Abstract: An inspection device for an optical ferrule includes one or more reflectors. Each reflector has a mating surface and a mirror disposed at an oblique angle with respect to the mating surface. In one example, a method includes accessing, by a computer system, one or more databases comprising health information for a plurality of patients, wherein the health information includes protected health information, randomly selecting, by the computer system, a subset of the health information from the one or more databases, wherein the subset of the health information corresponds to a subset of the plurality of patients, removing, by the computer system, the protected health information from the subset of health information to produce a de-identified analytics subset of patient data suitable for analytical model construction and evaluation, and storing, by the computer system, the de-identified analytics subset of the patient data in the one or more databases.

Abstract: A method for tracking procedures performed on personal protection equipment (PPE) and actions of individuals includes the following steps. An article of PPE configured with a smart tag is provided to an individual prior to performance of a task. After the individual performs the task, the article of PPE is processed. Information is retrieved from the smart tag during at least one of: before, during and after processing the article of PPE. After the performance of the task, the individual's data is read and the individual enters into a designated area.
