    Abstract: An “ownership tag” in a special area of memory of a computer system identifies an owner of the computer system by displaying the ownership tag during initialization of the computer system. The ownership tag may be presented during the installation and execution of the Basic Input Output System. (BIOS) preferably during Power on Self Test (POST) process. An administrator may access the ownership tag by interrupting the process by pressing the an appropriate key, which transitions the computer to an administrator set up mode. An administrator able to enter the administrator password may then alter the contents of the protected memory, changing the ownership tag. The ownership tag is preferably stored in a region of memory not accessible to a typical user, but accessible to an administrator aware of the administrator password. The ownership tag is stored in a flash memory, which is very difficult to remove from the system board, or to modify without administrator-level security access.

    Abstract: A tapping method for performing a tapping process in a punch press includes engaging a front end of a tap provided at a tapping tool attached to a rotating mold indexing device rotatably provided at the punch press with a prepared hole formed in a workpiece. When the front end of the tap is engaged with the prepared hole, a control motor of the rotating mold indexing device is rotated positively to rotate the tap positively. When it is detected that the control motor of the rotating mold indexing device has rotated a determined number of times, positive rotation of the control motor is stopped and the motor is rotated reversely, thereby to detach the tap from the prepared hole of the workpiece.

    Abstract: Low-viscosity drag reducers, systems for delivering low-viscosity drag reducers, and methods of making low-viscosity drag reducers are disclosed. The low-viscosity drag reducers have a viscosity less than 350 cP at a shear rate of 250 sec?1 and a temperature of 60° F. This low-viscosity allows the drag reducers to be delivered through a long and relatively small diameter conduit of a subsea umbilical line without an unacceptable level of pressure drop or plugging of the conduit. The low-viscosity drag reducers can be delivered to a subsea flowline carrying fluids produced from a subterranean formation to thereby provide significant drag reduction in the flowline.

Features indicative of onset of the gas turbine condition in the wavelet transformed data are then identified to provide an indication for controlling the gas turbine to prevent compressor stall from occurring. A system for detecting onset of compressor stall in a gas turbine includes a sensor for providing data indicative of an operating parameter of the compressor and a processor for performing a wavelet transform on the data to identify features of the optimized wavelet transformed data indicative of onset of stall.
