Abstract: The disclosed adjustable backrest provides a plurality of generally horizontal straps arranged from the top to the bottom of the rigid back shell to provide anterior to posterior support and comfort for a patient. Generally speaking, the generally horizontal straps provide variably adjustable tension straps that allow for precise positioning of the patient to reduce or remove pressure points from the patient's thoracic to sacrum region.
Abstract: An electronic actuated clutch for a winch. The winch having a motor and drive shaft which are engagable, via an electronically actuated clutch, to a spool. The clutch being operated by a solenoid which engages the clutch via a yoke. The clutch is operable between an engaged and disengaged position through energizing and de-energizing the solenoid. Operation of the clutch moves it linearly along the axis of the drive shaft into and out of engagement with the spool. Operation of the electronically actuated clutch may be done via a remote control.
Abstract: A service platform for a content delivery network indicates a transmission rate cap to be imposed when streaming data to a data requesting device over an access network. Means are provided for receiving a service request for delivery of data from a requesting device as the result of which the requested data is delivered as a prioritised traffic stream over an access link to the requesting device. The service platform processes the service request to determine one or more performance characteristics of said access link and uses this to determine the maximum transmission rate for the requested data to be streamed at over the access link during its delivery to the requesting device. This information is included in a source address for the requested data which the service platform generates, typically as a URL.

Abstract: A counterbalance system employs one or more springs to support a large motor drill on an upper horizontal work surface, for example on the tops of drill jigs or bushings. The counterbalance system supports the drill above the work surface where the counterbalance system can slide across the work surface to selectively position the drill over a drill bushing through which a drilling operation is to be performed. A user of the drill supported on the counterbalance system can then push downwardly on the drill to compress the spring and perform a drilling operation. On removal of the downward directed force exerted by the user of the drill, the spring pushes the drill upwardly to disengage the drill from the work surface. The user of the counterbalance system can then slide the counterbalance system and the drill across the top of the work surface.
Abstract: The claimed invention relates to the field of biologically active compounds and concerns 2-methylsulphanyl-6-nitro-7-oxo-1,2,4-triazolo[5,1-c][1,2,4]triazinide L-arginine dihydrate, which exhibits an antiviral effect and is intended for the treatment and prophylaxis of human and animal viral diseases, primarily West Nile Virus, and can be used in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, in scientific research laboratories and medical facilities, and also in veterinary science. The claimed invention is directed toward achieving the technical result of creating a novel effective drug of the azoloazine variety which exhibits antiviral activity toward a group of RNA-containing viruses, and reducing the dependence of the active compound on cell metabolism. This technical result is achieved in the creation of the novel drug 2-methylsulphanyl-6-nitro-7-oxo-1,2,4-triazolo[5,1-c][1,2,4]triazinide L-arginine dihydrate, which exhibits an aniviral effect and has the formula (I).

Abstract: A plurality of data sets is identified. A data model is generated representing the data sets. The data model represents the data sets and variations of the data sets as entities, relationships between the data sets as associations, and values associated with the entities as properties. The data model identifies states corresponding to the data sets wherein each state has associated therewith one or more of the entities, the associations and the properties. A state-aware attribute is maintained for each entity and for each association indicating to which one or more of the states the entity and the association respectively belong.
