  • Patent number: 8817052
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a display section, a generation section, a determination section, and a control section. The display section includes a screen. The generation section generates an image of content data including visible data. The determination section determines an area surrounding an area in which the visible data is arranged in the generated image and corresponding to a shape of the screen, as a visible data area. The control section generates, by the generation section, an enlarged image obtained by enlarging the image so that a size of the screen and a size of the visible data area become close to each other, determines, by the determination section, the visible data area in the enlarged image, and extracts the visible data area from the enlarged image to display the visible data area on the screen.

  • Patent number: 8815661
Abstract: A method of forming a FinFET structure having a metal-insulator-metal capacitor. Silicon fins are formed on a semiconductor substrate followed by formation of the metal-insulator-metal capacitor on the silicon fins by depositing sequential layers of a first layer of titanium nitride, a dielectric layer and a second layer of titanium nitride. A polysilicon layer is deposited over the metal-insulator-metal capacitor followed by etching back the polysilicon layer and the metal-insulator-metal capacitor layers from ends of the silicon fins so that the first and second ends of the silicon fins protrude from the polysilicon layer. A spacer may be formed on surfaces facing the ends of the silicon fins followed by the formation of epitaxial silicon over the ends of the silicon fins. Also disclosed is a FinFET structure having a metal-insulator-metal capacitor.

  • Patent number: 8818178
Abstract: A conflict analysis (CA) information handling system (IHS) receives conflict information from a population of digital video recorder (DVR) IHSs. The conflict information indicates that a conflictee show is in conflict with a conflictor show in a DVR IHS. The conflict information may include a conflictee show identifier and open timeslots for each DVR IHS that transmits conflict information to the CA IHS. Using the conflictee show identifier and available timeslots received from the population of DVR IHSs, the CA IHS makes a recommendation to rebroadcast the conflictee show at a particular time when more than an predetermined threshold number of DVR IHSs are available to record a rebroadcast of the conflictee show.
