Abstract: Embodiments as disclosed provided methods or systems for transmitting data over a network. Specifically, in certain embodiments, data for transmission is received and a datagram comprising at least a portion of the data can be created and sent to a terminal. Control data can be received from the terminal and the transmission of the data to the terminal adjusted based on the received control data. In certain embodiments both the datagram and the control data may be transmitted over an unreliable protocol. Thus, embodiments as disclosed may provide an increased level of reliability and adaptability to differing network conditions in conjunction with the use of an unreliable protocol.

Abstract: There is provided a method and system for authenticating a production of products. The method and system comprise determining if configuration data for the production run is authorized and, if the production run is authorized, generating a security token and associating the token with configuration data. The configuration data is digitally signed by generating a digital signature and associating the digital signature with the configuration data. The digital signature associated with the digitally signed configuration data is verified. Products are then produced in a production run according to the digitally signed configuration data, and the set of secure product identifiers is printed on the products according to the digitally signed configuration data.

Abstract: Meningococcal protein NMB 1870 has been described in the prior art. The inventors have found that NMB 1870 is an effective antigen for eliciting anti-meningococcal antibody responses, and that it is expressed across all meningococcal serogroups. Forty-two different NMB 1870 sequences have been identified, and these group into three variants. Serum raised against a given variant is bactericidal within the same variant group, but is not active against strains which express one of the other two variants i.e. there is intra-variant cross-protection, but not inter-variant cross-protection. For maximum cross-strain efficacy, therefore, the invention uses mixture comprising different variants of NMB 1870.

Abstract: There is provided a method and apparatus for tracking of items and containers of items. The method comprises generating a set of unique item identifier codes, each identifier code corresponding to a specific item in a set of items. Then, at a production line, uniquely identifying multiple items by marking the multiple items with the corresponding unique item identifiers. The method further includes detecting the unique item identifiers on the set of items and transmitting the detected unique item identifiers to a processor. After aggregating items into containers, containers are marked with container identifiers. The method then associates the detected container identifier in the database with detected item identifiers.
