  • Patent number: 10650017
Abstract: Tiered storage may be implemented for processing data. Data processors may maintain some of a data set, including user data and metadata describing the user data, locally. The data set is also maintained a data store remote to the data processor. When processing requests are received, a determination is made as to whether the local portions of the data set can execute the processing request or one or more additional portions of the data set are needed from the remote data store. If additional portions of the data set are needed, then a request may be sent to the data store for the additional portions. Once received, the data processor may execute the processing request utilizing the additional portions. Portions of the data set maintained locally at the data processor may be selected and flushed from local storage to the remote data store.

  • Patent number: 10651129
Abstract: Some embodiments include provision of a mass of semiconductor material having a first region and a second region. A first pattern set is formed to extend across the first region, and a third pattern set is formed to extend across the second region. The first pattern set includes first lines and first trenches between the first lines. The third pattern set includes alignment marks. The first trenches are utilized to form rails from the semiconductor material within the first region. The alignment marks are parallel to the rails. A second pattern set is formed to extend across the first region, and a fourth pattern set is formed to extend across the second region. The second pattern set includes first openings, and the fourth pattern set includes second openings. The first openings are utilized to subdivide the rails into pillars. The second openings transform the alignment marks into an overlay pattern.

  • Patent number: 10649749
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for enabling cross-environment application of tracing information for code, such as code executed within an on-demand (or “serverless”) code execution system. Various optimizations exist that allow execution of code to proceed faster or more efficiently over time, by collecting tracing information regarding the execution and using that tracing information to guide compilation of the code. These optimizations are typically designed for long-lived environments. However, executions within an on-demand code execution system often occur in short-lived environments, reducing or eliminating any gains from these optimizations. To address this issue, tracing information can be maintained across multiple environments on the system, allowing subsequent executions to be optimized based on tracing information of prior executions in other environments.

  • Patent number: 10652205
Abstract: A NAT entry management method and a NAT device are disclosed. The method includes: receiving and storing, by a NAT device, a connection parameter, where the connection parameter includes an address of a controller; receiving a packet sent by a network device, where a source address of the packet is a private address of the network device and a destination address of the packet is the address of the controller; performing NAT on the packet, where an after-NAT source address of the packet is a public address; and when a static entry condition is met, generating a target static NAT entry, where the static entry condition includes that the destination address of the packet is the address of the controller. This can prevent aging of the NAT entry from affecting communication between the network device and the controller.

  • Patent number: 10646741
Abstract: A weight training equipment with an ultrasonic sensor assembly including a transmitter unit, a receiver unit, a case and the support. The case is rotatably supported upon the support to expose the transmitter and the receiver upwardly. A freely rotatable pin unit is selectively inserted into the hole of the corresponding weight block of the weight training equipment to have its reflection surface downwardly face the sensor assembly. A distance between the pin unit and the sensor assembly during exercise can be measure by ultrasound transmitted from the transmitter unit toward the pin unit and further reflected by the reflection surface and received by the receiver unit.

  • Patent number: 10649925
Abstract: A portion of the memory space, supported by memory chips that are being controlled by a memory controller logic, can be set aside and read requests directed to memory addresses within that portion can be redirected, by the memory controller logic, to other memory addresses at which is stored the data equivalent to the internal data of the memory controller logic that the memory controller logic seeks to return, thereby enabling the memory controller logic to indirectly return data to processes executing on the host computing device. Additionally, requests to write data to specific memory addresses, including memory addresses that can be within the set aside portion, can be interpreted, by the memory controller logic, as commands that the memory controller logic is to perform, and which impact its own internal data including commands to reset values, or start or end data collection, or other like commands.
