Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method and a system for determining an energy spectrum of an incident electron beam. The method includes obtaining a plurality of deflection currents of a beam deflection device; for each of the plurality of deflection currents, determining an energy range of an ejected electron beam, and determining a target current of a target generated by the ejected electron beam irradiating the target, wherein the ejected electron beam is emitted from an output of the beam deflection device after the incident electron beam enters the beam deflection device. The method also includes determining the energy spectrum of the incident electron beam based on the energy ranges of the plurality of ejected electron beams and the corresponding target currents.

Abstract: A switching device includes multimedia input interfaces for respectively receiving multiple multimedia signals, a switching unit electrically connected to the multimedia input interfaces, a multimedia output interface, an electrical characteristics modulator, and a controller. The switching unit outputs a selected multimedia signal according to a first control signal. The multimedia output interface includes a multimedia signal terminal for outputting the selected multimedia signals and a non-signal terminal. The electrical characteristics modulator changes an electrical characteristic of the non-signal terminal according to a second control signal. The controller is controlled to generate the first and the second control signals through a video switching method whereby the electrical characteristics modulator changes the electrical characteristic of the non-signal terminal thereby increasing compatibility between the switching device and a multimedia output device.

Abstract: An improved, self-balancing water distribution system uses siphon characteristics to maintain negative pressure within the water system and to enable distribution of water to one or more distribution points, such as drinker lines with drinker nipples, at a controlled pressure, for consumption by poultry. The system includes water conduit connected to and configured to distribute water from a water supply reservoir to the one or more distribution points. The water level of the water supply reservoir is used to control the water pressure within the system. A vacuum apparatus is connected to the water conduit to remove entrapped air within the system to help maintain negative pressure within the conduit and throughout the system.
