Abstract: A vehicle window shade device includes: a window shade; a windup device winding up the window shade; a stay attached to a tip side of the window shade; a frame including a drawing slit for the window shade; a cover provided in the drawing slit to be opened and closed; and a biasing member biasing the cover toward an open direction. The action of the stay attached to the window shade wound up by the windup device is transmitted by the transmission member as the force in the direction in which the cover is closed. At least one of the cover, the stay and the transmission member includes a difference absorbing mechanism installed therein, the difference absorbing mechanism absorbing a difference between an action of the stay and an action of the cover.

Abstract: The present invention provides a Group III nitride semiconductor light-emitting device exhibiting high-intensity light output in a specific direction and improved light extraction performance. The Group III nitride semiconductor light-emitting device comprises a sapphire substrate, and a layered structure having a light-emitting layer provided on the sapphire substrate and formed of a Group III nitride semiconductor. On the surface on the layered structure side of the sapphire substrate, a two-dimensional periodic structure of mesas is formed with a period which generates a light intensity interference pattern for the light emitted from the light-emitting layer. The light reflected by or transmitted through the two-dimensional periodic structure has an interference pattern.

Abstract: A honeycomb structure includes a honeycomb unit containing zeolite and an inorganic binder and having a plurality of cell walls to define a plurality of cells extending from a first end face to a second end face of the honeycomb unit along a longitudinal direction of the honeycomb unit. The honeycomb unit is manufactured by molding and firing raw material paste containing zeolite particles and the inorganic binder. The zeolite particles have a D50 of approximately 3.6 ?m or more. An average pore size of the cell walls is more than or equal to approximately 0.10 ?m and less than or equal to approximately 0.50 ?m. An average particle size of the cell walls is more than or equal to approximately 3.6 ?m and less than or equal to approximately 7.0 ?m.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a highly reliable display device at a low cost with high yield. According to the present invention, a step due to an opening in a contact is covered with an insulating layer to reduce the step, and is processed into a gentle shape. A wiring or the like is formed to be in contact with the insulating layer and thus the coverage of the wiring or the like is enhanced. In addition, deterioration of a light-emitting element due to contaminants such as water can be prevented by sealing a layer including an organic material that has water permeability in a display device with a sealing material. Since the sealing material is formed in a portion of a driver circuit region in the display device, the frame margin of the display device can be narrowed.

Abstract: In a method for measurement of flatness of objects on a measuring machine, at least two objects are fixed on a worktable of the measuring machine. The method establishes a first coordinate system for the worktable location, sets two groups of horizontal scanning points for each object, and sets two groups of vertical scanning points for each object. By controlling at least two laser heads of the measuring machine, the objects are measured and coordinate values for each of the points scanned are obtained. The method calibrates a first coordinate system and establishes a second coordinate system based on the first coordinate system. In the second coordinate system, the at least two laser heads measure the objects and obtain data, and an indication of the flatness of each object is calculated and displayed on a display device.

Abstract: In a screen protection system and method, a first operation temperature of an electronic device is detected from each of one or more first temperature sensors, and a first ambient temperature is detected from a second temperature sensor, when a display screen is activated. Once there is no operation on the electronic device, a timer is started timing. Once the electronic device is being operated, a duration is temporarily stored and the timer is reset. If the duration is equal to a screensaver time, a second operation temperature of the electronic device is detected from each of the first temperature sensors, and a second ambient temperature is detected from a second temperature sensor. The method further determines whether the electronic device is currently being held by a hand of a user, according to the above-mentioned temperatures. If the electronic device is not being held by a hand of the user, the display screen is controlled to be in an inactive state.

Abstract: A method for forming a carbon nanotube composite includes the following steps. A substrate having a surface is provided. A carbon nanotube structure is disposed on the surface of the substrate. The carbon nanotube structure includes a number of carbon nanotubes. The carbon nanotubes define a number of micro gaps. The substrate and the carbon nanotube structure are disposed in an environment filled with electromagnetic waves such that the surface of the substrate is melted and is permeated into the micro gaps.

Abstract: Disclosed is a biaxially oriented polypropylene film substrate free from primer coating, which comprises successively connected affinity layer, core layer and surface layer, said affinity layer comprises 10% to 80% by weight of polypropylene homopolymer, 10% to 80% by weight of polyolefin plastomer and 1% to 10% by weight of anti-adhesion agent; said core layer is polypropylene homopoiymer; said surface layer is the same as the affinity layer or a non-coated surface layer that comprises 90% to 99% by weight of polypropylene homopolymer and 1% to 10% by weight of anti-adhesion agent. A film free from primer coating and its preparing method are also provided. The coated film of this invention does not need the process of primer pre-coating which reduces the relevant equipment costs on one hand and avoids the safety risks when using and restoring solvent type primer on the other.

The apparatus includes: an optotype presenting part to display an optotype at a predetermined presenting region; a pupillary distance input part that inputs a pupillary distance between an examinee's left and right eyes; and a control unit that makes the optotype presenting part display left- and right-eye optotypes for a stereoscopic vision test. The control unit determines a lateral inter-optotype spacing between the left- and the right-eye optotypes based on the input pupillary distance so that a fusion optotype seen with the examinee's both eyes is perceived as an optotype that is seen floating or sinking by a fusion distance between a reference position and a predetermined fusion position, and makes the optotype presenting part display the left-eye optotype and the right-eye optotype based on the determined inter-optotype spacing.

Abstract: A locking device for locking a first component to a second component comprises a fastener and a head. The fastener has an elongated main body, and the head is connected to one end of the main body. The main body inserts into the first component to lock with the second component. The head resists the first component, the head includes a resistance surface facing the main body and at least one restriction structure defined on the resistance surface of the head. The at least one restriction structure engages with the first component, such that the fasteners can be arranged on the first component in a predetermined manner. An electronic apparatus using the locking device is also provided.
