Abstract: Disclosed herein are muscle-back iron golf clubs that have improved mass qualities to provide higher rotational moments of inertia and lower center of gravity while retaining the workability of muscle-back irons and the size, shape and dimensions preferred by tour players and low handicap players.
Abstract: A system and method for adjusting resolution for a video conference through a set-top box. An invitation to accept a video conference is accepted through a set-top box. A line resolution for the video conference is set based on user input. A determination is made whether available bandwidth is at a threshold to support the line resolution. The line resolution is adjusted based on the determination. The video conference is implemented utilizing the adjusted line resolution.

Abstract: Methods for determining the state of memory cells include using an asymmetric sense amplifier. The methods include sensing the voltages on bit line (BL) and bit line bar (BLB) signals by coupling the BL to a first output node of an imbalanced cross-coupled latch (ICL), the ICL outputting a logic low value if the a difference between the a voltage on the BL and a voltage on the BLB exceeds a threshold. Sensing the voltages includes providing at least a first and a second pull down field effect transistor (FET) each having a channel coupled between the first and second output nodes and a ground node, respectively, in a cross coupled arrangement, wherein the second pull down FET has a channel width that is greater than a channel width of the first pull down FET. Additional methods are disclosed.
Abstract: A coupling mechanism secures a shaft-to-collar connection for two shafts, such as an extension shaft stub and a tractor PTO shaft. An annular locking element on the first shaft prevents an axial disconnection of an established connection. One of the shafts has a collar with a positive engagement element for a locking engagement with the other shaft. The other shaft includes a positive engagement for a locking engagement with the collar. To enable an easier handling of the axial locking of the shaft to collar connection, the locking element includes a first set of teeth which are complementarily to a second set of teeth on the second shaft. The locking element is rotatably arranged on the first shaft and can be rotated from a locked position to an unlocked position. In the locked position the teeth overlap.
Abstract: A nozzle (10) for a fuel injector of an engine includes a generally cylindrical housing (16) having a valve passage (28) disposed generally longitudinally along the centerline C of the housing and extending from a top surface (12) of the housing. An annular groove (40) is disposed in the top surface (12) of the housing (16) and is concentrically disposed about the valve passage (28). A plurality of high pressure passages (44) are disposed in the annular groove (40). The high pressure passages (44) fluidly communicate with the valve passage at a junction chamber (34). A nozzle tip (24) is in fluid communication with the junction chamber (34).

Abstract: This application describes tools for online tracking of life-limited parts. These tools may support methods that include receiving queries, and searching databases in response to the queries. These methods may integrate results of the searches into reports that provide comprehensive histories of life-limited parts for installation within vehicles, and may report these integrated results. To build these databases, other methods may receive information relating to the life-limited parts from a variety of sources, load the information into suitable databases, and integrate this information as provided by the various sources. Other methods may also evaluate whether the parts have any permitted life remaining. These tools may also provide databases that store serial numbers associated with the parts, store physical locations of the parts at various times, indicate who owned the parts at different times, and include remaining life records that indicate any permitted life remaining for the parts.

Abstract: Provided are filtration matrixes formed from adsorptive media, such as activated carbon, and polymeric binder for use in water filtration systems. A first aspect of the invention provides methods of making a filtration matrix comprising: mixing an adsorptive media with a polymeric binder to form a mixture; impulse filling a mold with the mixture; and processing the mixture to form the filtration matrix. Filtration matrixes formed from this method are also provided. Another aspect includes methods of making a filtration matrix comprising: mixing adsorptive media with a polymeric binder to form a mixture; filling a mold with the mixture; and applying heat and pressure the mixture to form the filtration matrix, wherein the step of applying pressure to the mixture comprises compressing the mixture until a desired final shape of the filtration matrix is obtained.

Abstract: A computer readable storage medium includes executable instructions to identify a path in target source code. Constraints associated with the path are extracted. The constraints are converted to a Boolean expression. The Boolean expression is processed with a Boolean satisfiability engine to identify either a feasible path or an infeasible path. A feasible path is statically analyzed, while an infeasible path is not statically analyzed.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a computer-implemented method of translating an image-based electronic document into a text-based electronic document. The method includes electronically scanning an image-based document to determine positions of word images in the image-based document. The method also includes extracting the word images from the image-based document and storing the word images to an electronic storage device. The method also includes grouping a subset of the word images into a word cluster based on a similarity of the word images, wherein the word images in the word cluster correspond to a same actual word. The method also includes generating a character-encoded transcription for the word cluster based on the word images in the word cluster. The method also includes adding the character-encoded transcription to a text-based electronic document at locations corresponding to the positions of the word images in the image-based document.

Abstract: Tines of a baler pre-cutter rotor each include a plate having a plurality of points disposed at equally spaced locations about a rotation axis of the rotor, with each point having a leading region reinforced by a pair of straps fixed in sandwiching relationship to the point. In one embodiment, the pair of straps is also applied to opposite sides of a trailing region bordering a circular mounting hole of the plate. In another embodiment, a second pair of straps abuts each first pair of straps and reinforces a leading region bordering the circular mounting hole. Instead of the second pair of straps, a ramp may be provided on a side surface of the plate for deflecting crop towards a pre-cutter stationary cutting knife. Instead of including separate straps, the tines can be cast or forged as identical sections including a tine point.
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention are directed to methods and systems for processing signals, particularly signals encoding two-dimensional images, such as photographs, video frames, graphics, and other visually displayed information. In various method embodiments of the present invention, an input image signal is decomposed into an upper-envelope function, a lower-envelope function, and a details function. One or both of the upper-envelope and lower-envelope functions are then modified to produce one or more image-enhancing effects when the modified upper-envelope and lower-envelope functions are recombined with the details function to produce an enhanced image signal.
