Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for monitoring operation of and/or interaction with a website to detect events (“frustration events”). In at least one embodiment, a detection system is disclosed that can monitor a website for the same or unrelated interaction and operation to detect events that affect the performance of a website, while contributing to the frustration of user interaction with the website. The detection system can monitor interaction with and/or operation of one or more documents of a website. Interactions with a website, operations of the website, or a combination thereof, may be assessed with respect to a threshold defining an event. One or more criteria (e.g., a time period) of the event may be assessed for the interactions and operations. Event data may be generated for the event(s) that occur, and the event data may be sent to a host system to adjust operation of the website.

Abstract: When different client devices request the same document, most of content of the response from the server (i.e. the response document from a web server) will be the same. Embodiments allow the client devices to use fingerprints, i.e. hashes, sent by a capture system to pinpoint only the changing portions of the document instead of sending the entire document. In various embodiments, the client compares client-generated fingerprints for the document with capture system-generated fingerprints for most likely appearing portions of text of the document or related documents to fully represent and sends to the capture system the client document in a compact and efficient way.

Abstract: An improved system and methods for identifying, assessing, obtaining, evaluating, processing and displaying information about specific topics of interest. In certain embodiments, information is processed with advanced computation and analytical techniques in which detailed statistical data is generated and refined to produce meaningful quantitative and qualitative information that may be useful in analyzing the economic performance of specific businesses or geographical regions of interest.

Abstract: A system and method for generating and distributing a survey includes an executable survey generation application. The survey generation application permits a survey designer to select at least one survey component template associated with a type of survey question from a repository pane of the survey generation application. Selection of the survey component template creates a corresponding survey component within at least one of a working pane and a review pane of the survey generation application. The survey designer may edit the survey component to include desired survey content by entering desired parameters within a data entry pane of the survey generation application. The completed survey may then be distributed to desired recipients by the survey designer activating a publish control of the survey generation application.

Abstract: The present disclosure includes a method, system, and computer program for analyzing the impact of social programs. The analysis of the impact of a social program may be facilitated by one or more application program units residing on a service provider's server. The service provider server may include an outcomes taxonomy, evidence base, data collection unit, data evaluation unit, program rating unit, metric calculations unit, and a benchmark database. The analysis may result in the generation of a program scorecard that includes a plurality of metrics that may estimate the likelihood of success of a social program. Each of the one or more metrics may be utilized in order to predict the impact of a social program.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a phone number is used in connection with an advertising or marketing campaign. The account associated with the phone number may be configured to specify the type of information and the type of actions to be taken when a phone call is placed to the phone number. After the call that has placed to the phone number has completed, information relating to the call is compiled. Upon compilation, the information is transmitted by a network-enabled device using a protocol, where in one embodiment, the protocol is HTTP.

Abstract: A monitoring and alerting system for installation in an air traffic control facility. The alerting system monitors the outgoing transmissions from the control facility to secondary locations, the responsiveness of the control facility personnel to aircraft communications or both. The monitoring and alerting system utilizes multiple stages of alerts for the air traffic controllers. In a first stage, a light source is displayed within the control facility. In a second stage, an audible noise is sounded within the control facility. In a third stage, an audible noise of increased volume is sounded in or near the control facility, a notice is sent to command and control and/or an indication is sent to a Central Control Facility. The three stages of alerts are progressively activated if the personnel in the control facility fail to adequately utilize connected equipment monitored by the alerting system within predetermined time periods.

Abstract: A system and method for analyzing conversations is disclosed. The analysis can provide data to show behavioral trending. The system and method can be used to analyze telephonic conversations. The system and method can analyze both voice and data. The system and method can also be integrated with other systems, such as CRM databases.

Abstract: A system and related method are provided for user authentication and dynamic usability of touch-screen devices. The system utilizes probability distribution representations including an authorized user probability distribution representation and a global or wide population probability distribution representation, to associate the purported authorized user to the authorized user. Touch dynamics or data, or other data from similar measurable characteristics, can be utilized to associate the purported authorized user and the authorized user and to determine optimal positions and sizes for user interface components.

Abstract: A system for automated testing of functionally complex systems, comprising a test manager module operating on a server computer, a test data storage subsystem coupled to the test manager module and adapted to store at least test results, a test execution module operating on a server computer, and a test analysis module operating on a server computer and adapted to receive test data from the test data storage subsystem. The test manager module causes tests to be executed by the test execution engine, and on detection of an anomalous test result, the test manager module at least causes additional testing to be performed and causes the test analysis module to analyze the results of at least some of the additional testing in order to isolate at least one component exhibiting anomalous behavior.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for diagnosing sleep apnea and for comfortably fitting an oral device to treat the condition. The patient is screened to reduce snoring using a device which changes the airway, and then using an airway dilation simulator having sequentially sized elements to determine the mandibular position maximizing the upper airway dimension. An oral device is then fabricated to retain the maximum position during sleep.

Abstract: An optical blood monitoring system includes a sensor clip assembly and a blood chamber. The blood chamber has an internal flow cavity for extracorporeal blood flow and viewing lenses to enable the sensor clip assembly to monitor the blood when it is mounted on the blood chamber. The sensor clip assembly includes an annular shroud surrounding the LED emitters and another annular shroud surrounding the photodetectors, both for the purpose of blocking ambient light and limiting light piping. The blood chamber includes separate, distinct shroud mating surfaces to engage the shrouds on the sensor clip assembly.

Abstract: A sensor clip assembly for an optical blood monitoring system includes a circuit board with a microprocessor that is programmed with a ratiometric model to calculate hematocrit and/or oxygen saturation levels of a patient.

Abstract: An extracorporeal blood chamber for an optical blood monitoring system has a mixing area and viewing area that are offset from the axis of the blood flow path into and out of the blood chamber. The off-axis design provides more leverage for threading the blood chamber onto a dialysis filter. It also eliminates the need for turbulence posts.

Abstract: A low flow blood chamber for optically monitoring blood flowing through extracorporeal tubing has a flat elongated blood flow cavity but preserves the circular viewing area of conventional blood chambers. The blood chamber provides consistent, mixed flow through the blood cavity even at low blood flow rates, e.g. 10 to 500 ml/min., while maintaining certain dimensional characteristics of conventional blood chambers.

Abstract: An extracorporeal blood chamber for an optical blood monitoring system includes an opaque chamber body in order to prevent inaccuracies when measuring oxygen saturation levels due to light ducting, which can occur at low oxygen saturation levels and low hematocrit levels. In one embodiment, the blood chamber need not include a moat as is present in conventional blood chambers.

Abstract: A system and a related method are disclosed for authenticating a user of an electronic system. The system, and related method access (a) data relating to a defined interaction with an input device for a purported authorized user, (b) a probability distribution representation for the defined interaction for an authorized user, and (c) a probability distribution representation for the defined interaction for a wide population, from which it can determine value indicative of whether the purported authorized user is the authorized user. The purported authorized user can be authenticated as the authorized user, if the value satisfies a prescribed threshold.
