Abstract: Disclosed is a collecting bag configured to collect urine or stomal fluids from a stoma of a user, particularly a urostomy. Further discloses is an anti-reflux component to prevent reflux of collected fluids from a collecting volume to an inlet opening of a collecting bag. The anti-reflux component includes interior, proximal and distal contoured sheets connected to each other such as to define a passage between them towards the collecting volume. The sheets are further attached to each other to define two or more non linear connection zones.

Abstract: A supercontinuum light source can include a seed laser arranged to provide seed pulses with a pulse frequency Fseed; a pulse frequency multiplier (PFM) arranged to multiply the seed pulses by converting pulses having the pulse frequency Fseed to pump pulses with a pulse frequency Fpump, where Fpump is larger than Fseed; and a non-linear element arranged to receive said pump pulses and convert said pump pulses to pulses of supercontinuum light. The PFM can further include a splitter for splitting pulses into first and second sub beams each having the same pulse frequency, where the PFM is configured such that the sub beams experience different delays; and a combiner for combining said first and second sub beams into a beam having the pulse frequency that is greater than said same pulse frequency. The splitter can have an uneven splitter ratio.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for preparing a haemostatic composition comprising thrombin, the method comprising the step of reconstituting a dry thrombin directly in a paste, such as a paste comprising a biocompatible polymer. The haemostatic composition comprising thrombin may be prepared from a dry thrombin composition and a paste in a single step operation and be used for treatment of a wound.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method and a hearing device for audio transmission. The hearing device is configured to be worn by a user. The hearing device comprises a first earphone comprising a first speaker. The hearing device comprises a second earphone comprising a second speaker. The hearing device comprises a virtual sound processing unit connected to the first earphone and the second earphone. The virtual sound processing unit is configured for receiving and processing an audio sound signal for generating a virtual audio sound signal. The virtual audio sound signal is forwarded to the first and second speakers, where the virtual audio sound appears to the user as audio sound coming from two virtual speakers in front of the user. The hearing device further comprises a first primary microphone for capturing surrounding sounds to provide a first surrounding sound signal based on a first primary input signal from the first primary microphone.

Abstract: Process and plant for producing hydrocarbon products from a feedstock originating from a renewable source, where a hydrogen-rich stream and on off-gas stream comprising hydrocarbons is formed. A portion of the hydrogen-rich stream is used as a recycle gas stream in a hydroprocessing stage for the production of said hydrocarbon products, and another portion may be used for hydrogen production, while the off-gas stream is treated to remove its H2S content and used as a recycle gas stream in the hydrogen producing unit, from which the hydrogen produced i.e. make-up hydrogen, is used in the hydroprocessing stage. The invention enables minimizing natural gas consumption in the hydrogen producing unit as well as steam reformer size.
