Abstract: An electrical device outlet cover for use in covering an opening in an outlet box or an opening in an outlet box drywall ring. It includes a front plate having a cut line formed through a first, telescopable portion of the front plate, the cut line allowing the first, telescopable portion of the front plate to be telescoped outwardly from a second, stationary portion of the front plate. Also provided is a cutting guide with a wall that extends generally perpendicularly upwardly from the front plate and follows a path that generally corresponds to a shape of an outlet box or a drywall ring to which the device outlet cover is to be attached. The invention also provides a method for protecting an electrical device in an electrical device outlet during installation of sheet material and providing for accruing cutting of an opening in the sheet material.

Abstract: A disposable, solution-mixing hair colorant dispenser: tubular rear segment including first reservoir having rupturable front end; tubular middle segment including second reservoir having rupturable rear and front ends; tubular front segment including rear end and forward-projecting porous applicator. Rupturing member near adjacent ends of first and second reservoirs for rupturing both when first and second segments are engaged. Rupturing member near front end of second reservoir for rupturing same when second and third segments are engaged. Alternative rupturing members: double-ended between first and second reservoirs and single-ended attached to third segment; double-ended within second reservoir; single-ended within first reservoir and single-ended attached to third segment. Segments threaded for endwise engagement to seal segments and rupture reservoirs. Fluids mixed and dispensed through applicator.

Abstract: A wall mount provides the normal hose connection for attachment of the hose of a hand-held spray head while integrating a backflow preventer in an aesthetically pleasing unit. The wall mount preferably uses two spring-biased check valves with an integral air inlet and check valve to form redundant backflow prevention as well as an active vacuum breaker which substitutes ambient air for dirty water in the case of vacuum build-up. The wall mount includes a seal and locking technique which permits exact set-up of the orientation and wall fit of the unit with simple tools. An alternate embodiment of the wall mount also integrates the hook which holds the handle of the hand-held spray head.

Abstract: An adjustable height showerhead is slidably removable vertically along an axis to accommodate users of differing heights. The showerhead includes a fixed inner pipe, a water inlet connection, a wall mount and an adjustable pipe sleeve. The water inlet connection provides a flow of water into the fixed inner pipe, which has ports connected with the adjustable pipe sleeve to provide water therethrough into an annular space defined by the outer wall of the inner pipe and an inner wall of the adjustable pipe sleeve, which is connected to the outlet nozzle at a distal end. A locking subassembly maintains the showerhead in a fixed position until the locking assembly is unlocked, thereby permitting slidable movement of the adjustable pipe sleeve about an axis parallel to the fixed inner pipe.
