  • Patent number: 5595212
Abstract: An improved inlet stop fixture for conventional hot and cold inlets to plumbing fixture which is threaded onto a male pipe thread with a nipple, to prevent a gap of uncontrolled length from the fixture to the wall. The improved inlet stop system includes a new intermediate element, namely a water inlet tube extension, which fits between the conventional pipe nipple and the valve fixture itself. The inlet tube extension includes an inlet coupling section, an O-ring collar, with an O-ring, and a fixture coupling threaded nipple at the far end. The water inlet tube extension is threaded onto the nipple that extends through the wall. Alternately, a non-threaded solder type connection water inlet tube extension may be connected to a non-threaded copper tube for a solder connection. In either embodiment, the inner O-ring is provided in a groove to produce a sliding fit over the body of the valve fixture.

  • Patent number: 5564367
Abstract: A compact fenced enclosure (5) having a plurality of generally upright support posts (7), and a plurality of top rails (11) and bottom rails (15) extending in a generally horizontal direction between each support post. Each top rail (11) and bottom rail (15) has a first end and a second end. The first end of each rail is placed in an overlapping relationship with the second end of each adjacent rail on the first and second ends of each support post (7), and secured to support post (7) by a single fastener passing through an opening (33) defined in each arcuate section (32), and through matching opening (34) defined in the first and second ends of each support post (7) forming an enclosure about the space. Enclosure (5) also includes a gate assembly (24) supported on frame (6) for permitting passage into and out of the space, and chain link fencing (26) attached to frame (6) and gate assembly (24) for enclosing the space defined by said enclosure.

  • Patent number: 5560541
Abstract: A hot water shut off valve for use for domestic household water shower use which shuts off excessively hot water. The valve generally includes an water inlet source opening to an inner chamber. The inner chamber has an outlet source at the base of said chamber, a sealing means communicating with said outlet sources for alternately turning on or off the flow of water from said inlet sources through said outlet sources. The sealing means is urged against the base of said mixing chamber by means of a paraffin power element communicating with a spring. In the preferred embodiment, a reset member is provided to reset the flow of warm water from the inlet source to the outlet source.

  • Patent number: 5560579
Abstract: An adjustable bracket is disclosed for holding a game fishing reel having harness lugs. The bracket has a fixed section that can be mounted on the bulkhead, overhead or the like of a boat or the ceiling or wall of a building. The bracket has a guide section for holding the reel. The guide section includes an elongated slot that extends the length of the guide section. A pair of opposing members are positioned within with the slot. The pair of opposing holders, each which has a stud which is spaced apart from and extends parallel the guide section of the bracket. The studs are sized to mate with the apertures of the harness lugs. At least one of the opposing members is manually releasable from the guide section so that the holders can be moved along the length of the guide section and then locked in placed at selected spaced relationship from the other holder.

  • Patent number: 5511996
Abstract: Solving the problem of breakage of beryllium, copper contacts by applying heat shock to a condition just short of visible oxidation and then promptly water quenching is disclosed. After being so treated, the contacts are then processed in the traditional way which normally anticipates an acid rinse, and subsequent plating. The product of the process can be definitely identified by bending. If not annealed, it will break by bending more than 45.degree.. If annealed properly in accordance with the process of the invention, it will withstand three or four bends to 90.degree. before breakage. Where a compliance section exists in the contact, it is important that it be in the zone of applying the heat shock so that after the heat shock annealing process is concluded, the compliance section will behave like a softer material.
