  • Patent number: 9180477
Abstract: A color changer includes a valve module with a first interaction area and a plurality of valves. The valves are connected on their respective inlet side to a respective supply duct and are connected on their respective outlet side to a common collecting duct. The valves are openable and closeable via respective switches by a first actuation end discharging into the first interaction area. The color changer includes a switching module with a second interaction area and one actuator, which discharges by a second actuation end into the second interaction area. The valve and switching modules are arranged with their respective interaction areas adjacent and are displaceable relative to one another. Due to a respective displacement movement, the second actuation end is simultaneously movable with respect to at most one of the first actuation ends into a respective actuation position so that the actuator opens or closes the corresponding valve.

  • Patent number: 9183996
Abstract: An actuator system for actuating a high voltage current interrupter is disclosed. The actuator system comprises a transmission link for transmitting kinetic energy from a force provision system to a moveable contact of the current interrupter. The transmission link has a first end which is mechanically connectable to the moveable contact of the current interrupter and a second end facing away from the moveable contact. The actuator system further comprises a damping system comprising a shock-absorbing mass. The shock-absorbing mass is located along the extension of the line of translational movement of the transmission link, at the farther side of the transmission link as seen from the current interrupter, so that upon an opening operation of the current interrupter, the second end of the transmission link will collide with the shock-absorbing mass.

  • Patent number: 9181954
Abstract: An exemplary frequency converter and method are directed to estimating an operation point of a pump when the QH characteristic curve of the pump is known. The frequency converter controls the pump, and a process curve is estimated when a first operation point of the pump is in the nominal range. The process curve defines a head as a function of volumetric flow. A rotational speed of the pump is determined and a QH characteristic curve of the pump is converted to a current rotational speed of the pump based on affinity laws. A second operation point of the pump is estimated by determining an intersection point of the converted QH characteristic curve and the estimated process curve.

  • Patent number: 9182441
Abstract: A transmission line system, a device for fault protection and computer programs, and a method for locating a fault in a series-compensated two-terminal power transmission line including a compensating bank for providing series-compensation to the transmission line. Different subroutines are utilized for locating faults on line segments from the first terminal to the compensating bank and line segments from the second terminal to the compensating bank. A selection is then made in order to determine a valid result. The subroutines utilize three phase currents synchronized measurements from both terminals and a three phase voltage measurements from one terminal for determining the respective per unit distance to a fault.

  • Publication number: 20150311781
Abstract: An exemplary method for detecting a three-phase islanding state in a three-phase electricity network includes supplying power to a three-phase electricity network via a power supply assembly, controlling an output frequency of the power supply assembly with a frequency reference signal adapted to deviate the output frequency of the power supply assembly from a grid frequency representing a frequency of a common electricity network whose portion of the three-phase electricity network is in normal operating conditions. The method also includes detecting a three-phase islanding state in the electricity network if the output frequency of the power supply assembly is outside an allowable value range. During a normal operating state of the electricity network, the frequency reference signal depends on an active output current of the power supply assembly.
