  • Patent number: 11398791
Abstract: A method for controlling a three-phase electrical converter includes selecting a three-phase optimized pulse pattern from a table of pre-computed optimized pulse patterns based on a reference flux. The method includes determining a two-component optimal flux from the optimized pulse pattern and a one-component optimal third variable. The method includes determining a two-component flux error from a difference of the optimal flux and an estimated flux estimated based on measurements in the electrical converter. A one-component third variable error is determined from a difference of the optimal third variable and an estimated third variable. The optimized pulse pattern is modified by time-shifting switching instants of the optimized pulse pattern such that a cost function depending on the time-shifts is minimized. The method includes applying the modified optimized pulse pattern to the electrical converter.

  • Publication number: 20220221375
Abstract: A method for monitoring a rotating equipment through a condition monitoring device is performed in every predetermined time period after every predetermined time interval. The method comprises detecting presence of vibration in rotating equipment based on a signal associated with vibration in the rotating equipment. The signal is measured with one or more sensors of the plurality of sensors. Upon detecting presence of vibration, a predefined number of samples associated with the vibration is acquired at a first frequency. A Root Mean Square (RMS) value of vibration is calculated using predefined number of samples. The calculated RMS value of vibration is compared with a reference value for detecting an operating status, which is stored for every predetermined time interval. Thereafter, the method comprises processing the stored information to assess a condition of the rotating equipment.

  • Patent number: 11387066
Abstract: A cutout mountable recloser that remains latched to the cutout until the recloser is selectively mechanically unlatched via at least rotation of a driver by an operator. During installation, including while the recloser is being latched to the cutout, the recloser can be in an open condition. Latching of the recloser to the cutout can include increasing a tension force exerted by the cutout on the recloser by increasing a linear distance between first and second terminals of the recloser. With the opened recloser latched to the cutout, the recloser can be mechanically closed via a release of stored energy from a closing mechanism. The recloser can selectively be mechanically unlatched from the cutout by a subsequent reduction in the linear distance between first and second terminals of the recloser, which can reduce the tension force being exerted by the cutout.
