Abstract: A system acquires geocoded data, smoothes the geocoded data, and displays the smoothed geocoded data in a graphical visualization representative of the physical locations of the acquired geocoded data. The system obtains an indication of operational parameters for smoothing geocoded data, such as a data precision level, viewing window, data characteristics, and smoothing parameters. The system generates an area map that includes entries for each location in the viewing window (or other predetermined area) according to the data precision level. The system may populate any entries without associated data values with a zero value. To process the geocoded data, the system may determine a vector of interest from the area map and generate, for example, a single smoothing matrix that smoothes each of the values in the vector of interest. The system applies the smoothing matrix to the vector of interest.

In an aspect, the communications network may include a mobile operator network; a local area in the mobile operator network, wherein the local area is under coverage of at least one femtocell; and a femtocell-based payment system connected to the mobile operator network, wherein the femtocell-based payment system is operable to provide mobile electronic payment via a user device recognized by the at least one femtocell within the local area and notified by the femtocell-based payment system.

Abstract: According to examples, inventory, growth, and risk prediction using image processing may include receiving a plurality of images captured by a vehicle during movement of the vehicle along a vehicle path. The images may include a plurality of objects. The images may be pre-processed for feature extraction. A plurality of features of the objects may be extracted from the pre-processed images by using a combination of computer vision techniques. A parameter related to the objects may be determined from the extracted features. A spatial density model may be generated, based on the determined parameter and the extracted features, to provide a visual indication of density of distribution of the objects related to a portion of the images, and/or to provide an alert corresponding to the objects related to the portion of the images.

Abstract: A device may receive text to be processed to prioritize text sections included in the text. The device may perform one or more prioritization techniques to prioritize the text sections. The one or more prioritization techniques may include at least one of: a semantic centrality analysis that indicates a degree to which a text section is semantically related to at least one other text section, an information content analysis that indicates a degree to which the text section includes information not included in the at least one other text section, or a combined analysis based on the semantic centrality analysis and the information content analysis. Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, are described that receive, from a device, a request to obtain an amount of physical items from an account, the account defining a total quantity of the physical items able to be obtained from the account, and the account being maintained across multiple locations at which the physical items are stored. The request is transmitted to at least one computer that manages inventory of the physical items for at least one of the multiple locations. Inventory availability information is received from the at least one computer that manages inventory of the physical items, including information regarding availability of the amount of physical items, and availability of a combination of differently-sized subunits of physical items that satisfy the requested amount. The inventory availability information is then transmitted to the device.

Abstract: A cloud services monitoring system (CSMS) helps a consumer of cloud computing resources determine the state of the cloud computing resources available to the consumer. The CSMS is particularly effective for cloud models where the consumer of the cloud computing resources is not the same as the provider of the cloud resource. The CSMS also provides mechanisms for adjusting operations actions to preserve service guarantees for the consumer. In that regard, the CSMS dynamically adjusts operations actions in response to the state of the cloud, rather than executing fixed predetermined operations actions that are not tailored to the monitored conditions.

Abstract: Novel methods and systems are provided for integrating multi-vendor cloud computing operations and architectures by using service-oriented orchestration to create a vendor and platform agnostic cloud computing framework. This approach aggregates core cloud computing functions including service provisioning, automating work flows, and data and usage monitoring across integrated services, thereby improving a data centers ability to execute operations quickly, under standardized protocols and with consistent quality of service.

A graphical user interface of true conditions assigned to procurement data in the live data feed is displayed.

The infrastructure layouts interconnect infrastructure components and capture relational aspects between the components within the interconnections. Abstract: A system creates an abstraction layer surrounding a diverse data system including multiple different databases. Data is received from data sources and ingested into the various databases according to a core model. New instances of the core model are created and added to a larger linked data model (LDM) when new data sources are added to the system. The LDM captures the linkages between different linked data objects and links across different databases. Accordingly, applications are able to access or explore the linked data stored in different databases without prior knowledge of the linking relationships.
