Abstract: A behavior sets system facilitates the dynamic generation of field and rule behavior sets for an insurance policy and claims processing computer system. The behavior sets system includes various modules and graphical user interfaces that provide a streamlined mechanism for creating new behavior sets of field and rule behaviors for the insurance processing architecture. The behavior sets system may include various levels of usability that distinguish between an advanced user of the behavior sets system and basic user that uses the generated field and rule behavior sets. The behavior sets system may also include graphical user interfaces directed to adding, editing, removing, or maintaining the behavior of fields and rules for the insurance policy and claims processing computer system.

Abstract: According to an example, an adaptive fault diagnosis system may include a memory storing machine readable instructions to receive metrics and events from an enterprise system, and use a substitution graph to determine if a received metric or a received event belongs to a cluster that includes one or more correlated metrics and/or events grouped based on similarity. If the received metric or the received event belongs to the cluster, the memory may further store machine readable instructions to use a detection graph to determine if the received metric or the received event is identifiable to form a fault pattern by traversing a fault path of the detection graph. Further, the memory may further store machine readable instructions to diagnose a fault based on the traversal of the fault path of the detection graph. The system may include a processor to implement the machine readable instructions.

The processor may provide the primary and secondary responses to the content provider, ordered based on the ratings.

Abstract: Embodiments of the claimed subject matter are directed to methods and a system that allows the optimization of processes operating on a multi-platform system (such as a mainframe) by migrating certain processes operating on one platform to another platform in the system. In one embodiment, optimization is performed by evaluating the processes executing in a partition operating under a proprietary operating system, determining a collection of processes from the processes to be migrated, calculating a cost of migration for migrating the collection of processes, prioritizing the collection of processes in an order of migration and incrementally migrating the processes according to the order of migration to another partition in the mainframe executing a lower cost (e.g., open-source) operating system.

Abstract: A method, computer-readable medium, and system for monitoring usage of computing resources provisioned across multiple cloud providers and/or data centers are disclosed. Events associated with usage of a plurality of computing resources may be accessed, where the plurality of computing resources may implement a virtual machine, a plurality of virtual machines of a cloud computing environment, etc. The events may be associated with a start, a stop, a status change, etc., of the plurality of computing resources. The events may be used to generate usage data for the plurality of computing resources. The usage data may include historical data associated with previous usage of the plurality of computing resources. Additionally, the usage data may be displayed using a graphical user interface, thereby enabling monitoring and/or tracking of usage of computing resources provisioned across at least one cloud provider and/or at least one data center.

Abstract: Biometric matching technology, in which a watch list is managed, multiple images of a potential suspect are accessed, and parallel pre-processing of the multiple images is controlled. Based on the pre-processing, an image of the potential suspect to use in matching against the watch list is determined and the determined image is used to search sorted biometric data included in the watch list. A subset of persons from the watch list is identified based on the search and parallel analysis of the determined image of the potential suspect against detailed biometric data associated with the subset of persons in the watch list is controlled. Based on the parallel analysis, it is determined whether the potential suspect matches a person in the watch list and a result is outputted based on the determination.

Abstract: Methods and systems for resource optimized, coarse and fine grained location tracking for planned journey are disclosed. A method for tracking a mobile device with respect to a point of interest (POI) using a mobile location tracker includes a conserve mode in which the mobile location tracker is turned off. The conserve mode comprises determining, by an analyzer module, whether to assess an estimated time to arrive (ETA) at the POI. If determined to assess the ETA, the conserve mode comprises performing an ETA assess operation comprising receiving the ETA; and if the ETA is not greater than a threshold time, switching from the conserve mode to an active mode, wherein in the active mode the mobile location tracker is turned on. It is determined to assess the ETA if a timer measurement is not less than the reassess time or if a trigger to reassess is received.

Abstract: A method of prioritizing and assigning test scripts is provided in a testing platform configured to organize, manage, and facilitate the debugging of test scripts. The test scripts are used in testing software modules. The method includes receiving a plurality of test scripts, applying a predetermined set of factors to each test script, and assigning a weight value to each factor based on a relative importance of the factor. A priority value is set for each test script based on the weighted factors, and the test script is assigned to a queue position for execution based on the corresponding priority value, where the assigned test script is associated with one or more bias factors. The test script is then selected from the testing queue and forwarded if the bias factors indicate that requirements of the test script match corresponding bias factors of the testing individual.

The existing application may be executed to generate traces related to a runtime behavior of services related to the existing application. The traces may be used to generate calling code related to the services related to the existing application. Representational state transfer (REST) application programming interfaces (APIs) that include the calling code to call the services related to the existing application may be generated. Refactored code for the existing application may be generated for invocation of the services related to the existing application by the REST APIs.

The log data includes information characterizing user interactions with a team group space hosted by, or document uploaded to, the social networking system. The system analyzes the log data to detect patterns in the user interactions. The system embeds widgets into the group space and into the documents uploaded to the social networking system that provide visual representations of the pattern analysis.

Abstract: A mechanism for securely transmitting credentials to instantiated virtual machines is provided. A central server is used to turn on a virtual machine. When the virtual machine is turned on, the central server sends it a secret text string. The virtual machine requests the credentials from the central server by transmitting the secret string and its instance ID. The central server validates the secret string and source IP to determine whether they are authentic. Once verified, the central server transmits the credentials to the virtual machine in a secure channel and invalidates the secret string. The credentials can now be used to authenticate API calls.

Abstract: A novel web server farm architecture is provided that combines various cloud components and innovatively maximizes their strengths to achieve a scalable, adaptable, load balanced computing architecture. In one embodiment, this architecture includes a storage host for static content hosting, a cluster of virtual machines (operating as web servers) for dynamic content hosting, and a dedicated application engine for monitoring the load of the virtual machines. A browser or end-application user of a web application is first routed to a static anchor page hosted on the storage host. The browser is subsequently presented with a list of virtual machines and data corresponding to their respective current loads. To access dynamic content, the browser is able to select from the virtual machines based in large part on the reported current loads of the virtual machines. Once a virtual machine is selected, the browser may communicate directly with the selected web server.
