Abstract: An eraser assembly includes a first support member and a second support member. The first support member has a first eraser pad with a first surface area. The second support member is coupled to the first support member and has a second eraser pad with a second surface area that is different than the first surface area. The second support member is removable from the first support member such that the second eraser pad is usable independently of the first eraser pad.

Abstract: A securing device for securing portable electronic devices and the method of using the securing device are disclosed. The securing device has a plate assembly, a post assembly and a main bar. A portable electronic device is inserted in-between the plate assembly and the main bar. Thereafter, the post assembly is rotated from a first position to a second position which is perpendicular to the length of the plate assembly. While in the second position, the post assembly prevents the rearward movement of the portable electronic device. The main bar prevents the upward movement of the portable electronic device. The plate assembly has a recessed profile that allows airflow through the bottom portion of the portable electronic device while being secured with the securing device.

Abstract: A bound system including a plurality of pages and a cover and/or divider including a bound outer edge and a plurality of free outer edges. The cover and/or divider may be bound to the plurality of pages along the bound edge. The cover and/or divider may include one or more discreet tabs extending generally outwardly relative to one of the edges. Each tab may be integrally formed from a single piece of material with the rest of the cover and/or divider. Each tab further may have an opening formed therethrough and is configured to receive at least part of a binding device therethrough to thereby couple the cover and/or divider to the binding device.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a systems and methods of loss prevention, discovery, and tracking of personal belongings through the use of wireless hardware and mobile electronic devices such as smartphones, tablet computers, and portable computers. One embodiment of the present invention may be directed to a mobile communication device comprising a processor, an antenna, a transceiver device electrically coupled to the antenna and the processor, and a computer readable medium coupled to the processor and comprising code executable by the processor to implement a method. The method may include receiving a wireless communication from a wireless apparatus attached to an object, determining a signal strength reading from the communication, determining if the signal strength reading is below an adaptable alert threshold, and if the signal strength reading is below the alert threshold, alerting a user.

The pocket device includes a first pocket panel coupled to the first major panel and defining a first pocket with the first major panel, the first pocket panel having an edge positioned adjacent to a mouth of the first pocket. The pocket device further includes a second pocket panel coupled to the second major panel line and defining a second pocket with the second major panel, the second pocket panel having an edge positioned adjacent to a mouth of the second pocket. The pocket device has a first reinforcing material positioned on the first pocket panel adjacent to the mouth of the first pocket, wherein the first reinforcing material is spaced apart from the edge of the first pocket panel.

Abstract: A number writing development guide including a number guide sheet having sequential instruction indicia. The sequential instruction indicia includes discrete ordered steps that cue a user in proper writing strokes to write an associated number. At least one of the discrete ordered steps relates to a common childhood activity or experience to thereby form an association between the activity or experience and the sequential instruction indicia. The guide further includes a challenge sheet coupled to the number guide sheet and having number challenge indicia. The number challenge indicia cues the user to arrive at a numerical answer to the number challenge and write the numerical answer thereon.

Abstract: A binding machine includes a body, an actuator coupled with the body, and a punch mechanism housed in the body for punching a stack of sheets upon actuation of the actuator. The punch mechanism includes a plate including a plurality of punch pins. The punch pins are configured to punch through the stack of sheets during a punch stroke. A shaft is coupled with the actuator such that movement of the actuator causes rotation of the shaft. At least one cam is mounted on the shaft for rotation therewith. The cam is coupled with the plate to drive the plate in a punching direction. The cam includes a cam profile that dictates displacement of the plate in the punching direction relative to rotation of the shaft.

Abstract: A system and method for securing a portable consumer device is disclosed. One embodiment of the present invention may be directed to a security system comprising a first wireless apparatus for use with a mobile communication device and a second wireless apparatus configured to removably and electrically couple to the mobile communication device. The second wireless apparatus comprising a second processor, a mobile communication device interface element, and a second computer readable medium coupled to the second processor and comprising code executable by the second processor to implement a method comprising determining whether the second wireless apparatus is within a particular distance from the first wireless apparatus, and locking the mobile communication device from use if the second wireless apparatus is not within the particular distance from the first wireless apparatus. Some embodiments may lock the mobile communication device from use if a tamper switch has been triggered.

Abstract: An adjustable page is provided. The page has a flexible substrate having a first surface, a second surface, and an edge. The substrate also has a plurality of pairs of first and second apertures, and slits joining the first and second aperture of each pair. The apertures are sized to receive ring connectors which have a leading edge and a trailing edge. The leading edge of each ring connector is designed to separate the slit to allow the ring connector to be transitioned to the appropriate second aperture. The slits are non-linear in shape or are connected to the apertures at positions apart from the centerline between the apertures.
