Abstract: In one aspect, the invention provides a laminating pouch. The laminating pouch includes first and second plies bonded by a pre-sealed edge. The laminating pouch also includes indicia in the pre-sealed edge that correspond to a property of the laminating pouch. The laminating pouch is configured to receive an article between the first and second plies and laminate the article when processed in a laminator.

Abstract: A laminating arrangement includes a laminating roller, a heat source for heating the laminating roller, the heat source being powered by an AC power supply, and a heat source intensity control system for controlling the intensity of the heat source. The intensity control system includes a processor and a triode for alternating current communicating with the processor. The triode for alternating current is turned on and off by the processor to control the AC power supply to the heat source to vary the intensity of the heat source.

Abstract: In some embodiments of the invention, a security apparatus for a portable electronic device is provided. The security apparatus may include a plurality of interlocking shell portions, wherein the interlocking shell portions are shaped to, when interlocked, wrap around at least part of a perimeter of the portable electronic device, and wherein at least two shell portions comprise an aperture. The security apparatus may also include an attachment device configured to be at least partly inserted into the apertures of the at least two shell portions.

A voltage output indicator device is coupled to the first and second electrical contacts. The voltage output indicator device indicates that the power circuit is producing the first output voltage or the second output voltage, so that the user is aware of the voltage being output by the power supply system.

Abstract: A securing device for securing portable electronic devices and the method of using the securing device are disclosed. The securing device has a plate assembly, a post assembly and a main bar. A portable electronic device is inserted in-between the plate assembly and the main bar. Thereafter, the post assembly is rotated from a first position to a second position which is perpendicular to the length of the plate assembly. While in the second position, the post assembly prevents the rearward movement of the portable electronic device. The main bar prevents the upward movement of the portable electronic device. The plate assembly has a recessed profile that allows airflow through the bottom portion of the portable electronic device while being secured with the securing device.

Abstract: A security system is disclosed. The security system may include a breakaway key and security apparatus. The breakaway key may have one or more stress areas, to facilitate separation of the key when it is improperly used. The security apparatus may have a rotatable sleeve, so that a user attempting to twist the security apparatus will only end up twisting the sleeve. Thus, the security apparatus cannot easily be broken by a rotation.

Abstract: A binding machine includes a body, an actuator coupled with the body, and a punch mechanism housed in the body for punching a stack of sheets upon actuation of the actuator. The punch mechanism includes a plate including a plurality of punch pins. The punch pins are configured to punch through the stack of sheets during a punch stroke, the punch stroke defining a force profile. A portion of the force profile defined from a first drop in force to a last peak force before a final decrease has no more than a 15 percent change in force relative to a normalized maximum force of the force profile.
