  • Patent number: 10063173
Abstract: A regulator, and vehicle alternator and rotating speed detection method thereof are provided. The vehicle alternator includes a rotor coil, a stator coil portion, a rectifier circuit and a regulator. The regulator is configured to control a current flowing through the rotor coil. The rotor coil collaborates with the stator coil portion to convert mechanical energy to alternating current (AC) electrical energy. The rectifier circuit converts the AC electrical energy provided by the stator coil portion to direct current (DC) electrical energy. When the vehicle alternator performs auto start operation by using residual magnetism, the regulator detects a frequency of a rotor voltage signal on the rotor coil to serve as a basis of calculating a rotating speed of the vehicle alternator.

Abstract: A rectifier package module for a vehicle and a connection status detection method for a temperature sensor thereof are provided. The rectifier package module includes at least one temperature sensor and a control chip. The control chip has an end coupled to the temperature sensor through a bonding wire. The control chip generates a current and provides a reference voltage according to a mode selection signal. The current is provided to the temperature sensor through the bonding wire. The control chip compares a voltage on the end with the reference voltage to generate a comparison result. In a test mode, a comparison circuit generates the comparison result to indicate a connection status between the end and the temperature sensor.

  • Patent number: 9553537
Abstract: A de-glitch circuit, a de-glitch method and a short circuit protection device are provided. In a period during which a first flag signal is in a first logic state, the de-glitch circuit increases a counting result with a rising rate. In a period during which the first flag signal is in a second logic state, the de-glitch circuit decreases the counting result with a falling rate, wherein the rising rate is greater than the falling rate. The de-glitch circuit sets a logic state of a second flag signal according to a relationship between the counting result and a threshold.

  • Patent number: 9543886
Abstract: A short circuit detection circuit and a short circuit detection method for a multi-phase rectifier are provided, which are used for detecting conditions of a spectrum of a FWR signal outputted from the multi-phase rectifier in the frequency domain. Next, determining whether the detected signal indicating the amplitude of the frequency of the AC signal is greater than or equal to the reference signal, so as to determine whether the multi-phase rectifier has a short circuit condition. Therefore, the short circuit detection circuit and the short circuit detection method do not have any requirements for configuring a short circuit detection element on each current path of the multi-phase rectifier, so that the power loss and the cost can be reduced effectively.

  • Patent number: 8459758
Abstract: A drawer slide with an auto close dampening system with reset feature is disclosed. The drawer slide may incorporate a stationary slide member attached to a frame of the drawer and a pin in fixed relative position to a drawer box of the drawer. A carriage is attached to the stationary slide member and has an actuator that is releasably engageable with the pin. The actuator works in conjunction with the pin to automatically close the drawer box to the closed position. During malfunction, the actuator is drawn back to a retracted position so that the auto close mechanism no longer automatically closes the drawer box when the drawer box is traversed to the closed position. The actuator includes a ramp so that the pin may be pushed over the ramp and engage back with the actuator to reset the auto close mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20120306476
Abstract: A phase detection apparatus for an alternator is disclosed according to an embodiment of the present invention. The phase detection apparatus comprises a waveform detector, a threshold voltage generator, and a comparator. The waveform detector is used for detecting a wave peak of a phase signal, and generating a waveform detection signal accordingly. The threshold voltage generator is used for generating a reference signal according to the waveform detection signal. The comparator is used for comparing the phase signal with the reference signal, and generating a comparison signal accordingly. Therefore, the phase detection apparatus for the alternator may reduce the leakage current of a battery in a vehicle.

  • Patent number: 8283966
Abstract: An integrator circuit is provided in the present invention, which utilizes a first capacitor and a first switching unit to sample an input signal and carries out distribution of charges between the first capacitor and a second capacitor. The second capacitor is larger than the first capacitor in capacitance. The integrator circuit transmits the charges stored in the second capacitor to a node of the first capacitor which is coupled to a ground previously. Accordingly, a direct current voltage level of the first capacitor may increase, facilitating an increase in a direct current voltage level at the second capacitor. Thereby, the accuracy and linearity of the integrator circuit may improve.
