The plurality of stems of the first fastening member and the plurality of comb-tooth-like portions of the second fastening member intersect with each other in the hairs from upside and a lateral direction, thereby fastening the head ornament to the hairs.

    Abstract: A method of retaining a hair ornament such as a wig to hair comprises the steps of fixing retaining devices for hair ornament (10) to the hair ornament, wherein the retaining device for hair ornament (10) has a squashable tube (11) into which a plurality of hairs are to be inserted, and a net (13) attached with an adhesive tape (12) having adhesive layers (12b, 22b) on the inner surface of said tube (11), inserting a plurality of hairs (101) into the tube (11), and squashing the retaining device for hair ornament (10). Thereby, since the retaining device for hair ornament (10) is tightened to hair (101), as well as the hair (101) is adhered to the net (13) with the adhesive permeated through the mesh of the net (13), so that the hair ornament can be easily and firmly retained on to the hair, and does not easily slip off from the hair.

    Abstract: The present invention consists of a seamless self-adhesive hair extension and a method of attaching it to a head of a wearer. The seamless self-adhesive hair extension is comprised of a plurality of either natural or synthetic hair strands attached to a base support made of polyurethane which has a rectangular strip of double-sided self-adhesive tape with a removable backing as a fastener. The method consists of separating a user's hair along a part line into an upper portion and a lower portion, wherein the upper portion and lower portion are temporarily swept up and away from the part line. Another double-sided rectangular strip of self-adhesive tape is placed along a lower portion part line approximately ¼? from the scalp onto the user's natural hair, and then alternating ¼? strands of the user's natural hair are withdrawn from the upper portion of hair above the part line such that the strands will be laid upon the double-sided self-adhesive tape.

A colored hair obtained by the above process is also disclosed.

A hair-joining device used in this method comprises a rod member provided on one end thereof with a loop portion having flexibility, and the rod member having joining hair which is wound around and loosely knotted to the rod member, unit by unit, at predetermined intervals.

A joining hair retainer used for the hair joining method comprises a retainer body, a rod-like member disposed on one end portion of the retainer body, and an elongated cushion member disposed on the retainer body in such a manner as to be spaced apart from the rod-like member, and having a plurality of cuts.
