Abstract: A head ornament fastening member that attaches a head ornament to hairs on a head. The head ornament fastening member comprises a first fastening member that includes a base, and a plurality of stems which protrude from a surface of the base and are inserted into the hairs from upside; and a second fastening member that includes a plurality of comb-tooth-like portions which intersect the plurality of stems and are inserted into the hairs from a lateral direction. The plurality of stems of the first fastening member and the plurality of comb-tooth-like portions of the second fastening member intersect with each other in the hairs from upside and a lateral direction, thereby fastening the head ornament to the hairs.

Abstract: A head ornament fastening member (10) that attaches a head ornament (20) to hairs (19) on a head. Abstract: In a wig 1, comprising wig bases 1a and 1b, and hair 12 attached to the wig base, the wig base is constituted with a front portion made of an artificial skin 10 of which a front edge is provided to a wig wearer's forehead, and a rear portion connected to the front portion, composed with a cap member having a shape similar to a wig wearer's head shape, the front portion has an artificial skin material 11 and an adhesive layer 30, wherein the adhesive layer 30 has a function to fix a stitch portion of hair by unpeelably adhering to a reverse side of the artificial skin material, and a function of a repeated bonding and peelable pressure-bonding to a scalp.

Abstract: A method of retaining a hair ornament such as a wig to hair comprises the steps of fixing retaining devices for hair ornament (10) to the hair ornament, wherein the retaining device for hair ornament (10) has a squashable tube (11) into which a plurality of hairs are to be inserted, and a net (13) attached with an adhesive tape (12) having adhesive layers (12b, 22b) on the inner surface of said tube (11), inserting a plurality of hairs (101) into the tube (11), and squashing the retaining device for hair ornament (10). Thereby, since the retaining device for hair ornament (10) is tightened to hair (101), as well as the hair (101) is adhered to the net (13) with the adhesive permeated through the mesh of the net (13), so that the hair ornament can be easily and firmly retained on to the hair, and does not easily slip off from the hair.

Abstract: The present invention consists of a seamless self-adhesive hair extension and a method of attaching it to a head of a wearer. The seamless self-adhesive hair extension is comprised of a plurality of either natural or synthetic hair strands attached to a base support made of polyurethane which has a rectangular strip of double-sided self-adhesive tape with a removable backing as a fastener. The method consists of separating a user's hair along a part line into an upper portion and a lower portion, wherein the upper portion and lower portion are temporarily swept up and away from the part line. Another double-sided rectangular strip of self-adhesive tape is placed along a lower portion part line approximately ¼? from the scalp onto the user's natural hair, and then alternating ¼? strands of the user's natural hair are withdrawn from the upper portion of hair above the part line such that the strands will be laid upon the double-sided self-adhesive tape.

Abstract: A wig is fabricated by: a masking sheet, having a great number of openings around 10 mm in diameter formed therein, being applied to a side of a wig base which is to face the scalp of a wearer; a silicone adhesive agent being applied to the wig base through the openings; one end of a tablet formed of a silicone substance, which can be placed within the opening, being adhered to the silicone adhesive agent, and further, a silicone adhesive agent being applied to a surface of the tablet and dried; following which the masking sheet is removed, thereby providing silicone protrusions fixed to the side of the wig base which is to face the scalp of the wearer.

Abstract: A double-stick adhesive tape (10) for fixing a wig (100) to a head, of which the surface of at least one side (12) of both sides of adhesive layers (12, 13) on a core material (11) is deglossed by forming minute concavity and convexity (12a), one side of adhesive layer (12) is formed to have a thickness to bury at least more than half of a wire diameter of the filament (103) used as a net member of a wig base (101), thereby one side of adhesive layer (12) is set inside of a network (104) of the net member, and bonded to the net member, a filament (103) is peripherally bonded with the adhesive layer (12) and the other adhesive layer (13) is bonded to the head.

Abstract: An artificial hair restorer has a trunk hair with plural restoring hairs fixed to certain points of the trunk hair. A loop formed by folding one or two trunk hair(s) in two, and the original hair(s) passes(pass) through the loop. A knot is provided close to the tying end of the restoring hairs but opposite to the loop. A hair restoring method comprises inserting one or more original hair(s) into the loop of the trunk hair, and then fixing the trunk hair to a point in the vicinity of the original hair root.

Abstract: This invention relates to a wearer's own hair utilizing type wig in which the wearer's own hair is pulled up through a space in the wig and blended with false hairs at the time for attaching the wig to the wearer and in which the wearer's own hair can be effectively and evenly utilized, thus enabling to provide an abundance of hair as a whole. Particularly, the wig (1, 2, 3) comprises a hair-secured frame (10, 20, 30) which includes a skeleton-like framework and false hairs (15) attached to the skeleton-like framework.

Abstract: A wig stopper including a bent, counter-bendable, component that is obtained by processing a single elastic thin sheet to bend and impart a counter-bendable characteristic thereto. The wig stopper further includes a number of hair-fastening components, each having a base end part provided on the longitudinal side of the upper end of the bent, counter-bendable, component. Also, a tip end part is extended to the longitudinal side of the lower end of the bent, counter-bendable, component such that the hair-fastening components are arranged in a comb-tooth fashion.

Abstract: A wig fitting implement which performs the fitting of a wig to a head surely and stably, can be put on and taken off easily, has no bad influence on the head like eczema and a rash, and has excellent workability is provided. A method of use of the wig fitting implement is also provided. The wig fitting implement 1 comprises a net-like base 2 divided into four regions. These regions correspond to a left side front surface (B side), a left side rear surface (D side), a right side front surface (A side) and a right side rear surface (C side). Double-sided tapes 3 (A1, B1, C1 and D1) and protective tapes 4 (A2, B2, C2 and D2) are adhered to each region. B1 of the B side is adhered to a surrounding rim part 13 of a flexible planar component 9 of a wig 7, and a natural hair 12 of a head skin 10 passes through penetration holes 6 and is held between C1 and B1 to fix the natural hair.

Abstract: A wig-fitting component is not bulky at an area of attachment to the natural hair, provides a natural feeling during the wear thereof over a long period of time, is capable of being fixed securely over a long period of time, and is free from adverse influence on the hair skin and roots of the hair. The wig-fitting component is capable of being fixed without causing any damage, deformation and discoloration of a wig base. The wig-fitting component includes a net-type component struck on one side of a flexible planar component, with adhesive being adhered to opposite surfaces of the planar component.

Abstract: A process for manufacturing colored hair is disclosed. This process comprises the steps of applying a color sizing agent to hair material, semi-drying the color sizing agent applied to the hair material, winding a vapor feeding member comprised of a net member and a moisture-containing member around an area of the hair material where the color sizing agent is applied, winding an evaporation adjusting member for adjusting the quantity of evaporation of the moisture around the vapor feeding member from outside thereof, and permeating and fixing the color sizing agent to the applied area of the hair material by heating the vapor feeding member, thereby, hair at least partly applied with a desired color or color shade is obtained. A colored hair obtained by the above process is also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for joining hair includes the steps of winding joining hair around and loosely knotting the same to a rod member, which is provided on one end thereof with a loop portion having flexibility, unit by unit, at predetermined intervals, withdrawing the joining hair wound around and loosely knotted to the rod member, unit by unit, through the loop portion after a strand of natural hair on the scalp of a person's head is inserted into the loop portion, and tightly knotting a knot portion of the joining hair thus withdrawn, by pulling opposite ends of the joining hair so that the joining hair is tied to the natural hair strand at the knot portion. A hair-joining device used in this method comprises a rod member provided on one end thereof with a loop portion having flexibility, and the rod member having joining hair which is wound around and loosely knotted to the rod member, unit by unit, at predetermined intervals.

Abstract: A retainer used for hair joining includes a retainer body, a rod-like member on one end portion of the retainer body, and an elongated cushion member which has multiple cuts and which is arranged on the retainer body such that it is spaced apart from the rod-like member. Reducible looped portions are formed on one end of each of multiple joining hairs to allow the rod-like member to pierce therethrough. The free ends of the multiple joining hairs are clamped by the plurality of cuts in the cushion member.

Abstract: A method for joining hair comprises the steps of forming a reducible loop on one end of a strand of joining hair, reducing and tightening the loop after piercing a strand of stationary hair through the loop, and weaving and tying together both of the joining hair and stationary hair to firmly join the two hair pieces. A joining hair used for the hair joining method is characterized in that at least one strand of hair is folded into two and free ends of the hair are pierced through the folded portion to form a loop on the joining hair. This loop or looped portion is then heated to curl so that the looped portion may not be lost or straightened. A joining hair retainer used for the hair joining method comprises a retainer body, a rod-like member disposed on one end portion of the retainer body, and an elongated cushion member disposed on the retainer body in such a manner as to be spaced apart from the rod-like member, and having a plurality of cuts.
