Patent number: 5137037Abstract: In an anchoring member for a head ornamental article, a plurality of pectinate projections are mounted to a curved reverisble element in spaced relation to each other. A gripping arrangement is provided on the curved reversible element or on a wig base. The pectinate projections are capable of being engaged with and disengaged from the gripping arrangement when the curved reversible element is reversed. Engagement of the pectinate projections and the gripping arrangement with each other at the time the curved reversible element is reversed enables the pectinate projections and the gripping element to cooperate with each other to clamp therebetween an article being clamped. A hooking element is mounted to the curved reversible element, and is capable of being engaged with a caught unit on the head ornamental article so that the curved reversible element can detachably be fastened to the heat ornamental article. A wig is also disclosed which comprises at least one anchoring member.Type: GrantFiled: July 9, 1990Date of Patent: August 11, 1992Assignee: Aderans Co., Ltd.Inventor: Kousuke Mochizuki

Patent number: 5135011Abstract: In a wig, a wig base is made of an artificial skin and/or a net. A plurality of hairs are planted to an outer convex surface of the wig base. The hairs are inconspicuous in color with respect to the wig base, at root areas of the hairs which are planted to the wig base. Thus, knots of the hairs planted to the wig base are inconspicuous so that there is provided a natural hairline.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 1991Date of Patent: August 4, 1992Assignee: Aderans Co., Ltd.Inventors: Nobumoto Motoori, Kousuke Mochizuki

Patent number: 5044382Abstract: In a wig, a hair-planting framework bulges outwardly as a whole to have a cap-like outer configuration. The hair-planting framework has a peripheral-edge frame formed generally into an elongated elliptic configuration, and interlocking chain-like thread elements each of which is formed by a filament so knitted as to have stretchability. The chain-like thread elements are arranged within the peripheral-edge frame in intersected relation. The chain-like thread elements are fastened to the peripheral-edge frame to define openings in the hair-planting framework. When the wig is worn onto a head of a wearer, strands of existing hair of the wearer are drawn outwardly through the openings and are blended with strands of hair planted to the hair-planting framework.Type: GrantFiled: October 9, 1990Date of Patent: September 3, 1991Assignee: Aderans Co., Ltd.Inventors: Masaaki Ando, Ryuji Teratoko

Patent number: 5044036Abstract: A blind washing apparatus capable of washing a blind automatically without relying upon manual operation. The blind is supported by a blind support device and repeats upward and downward movements. In a state in which the blind is lowered into a washing tank filled with washing liquid, the blind is brushed by a pair of washing brushes arranged in opposed relation to each other, thereby washing the blind automatically.Type: GrantFiled: August 2, 1989Date of Patent: September 3, 1991Assignee: Aderans Co., Ltd.Inventors: Takenobu Fujimoto, Michinobu Fujiwara, Naoto Sakaiya

Patent number: 4970042Abstract: A synthetic fiber having an uneven surface structure consisting of wrinkles having ridges and recesses of the surface of the fiber and not presenting specular luster, which may be used, for example, as artificial hair for wigs, can be produced easily and stably by melt-spinning a starting synthetic resin such as nylon and passing the spun monofilament through a cooling bath at a temperature not lower than 30.degree. C. for a period of time sufficient for developing wrinkles in its surface. Inclusion of a pigment such as carbon black in an appropriate amount in the starting material is effective in providing dense distribution of wrinkles.Type: GrantFiled: August 8, 1989Date of Patent: November 13, 1990Assignee: Aderans Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hiroshi Kakiuchi, Setsuo Fukuhara, Michinobu Fujiwara, Hiroshi Maeda, Yutaka Shirakashi, Osamu Asakura, Yoshihiro Yoneda, Tetsuo Noda, Naoyuki Fujita

Patent number: 4949737Abstract: A wig having a shape retaining element for preventing turning-up, distortion and so on of a wig base. This shape retaining element (12) is made of a shape memory alloy whose transformation temperature (Af point) is higher than the surrounding temperature at a location between a surface of a user's head and the wig base during a period for which the wig (10) is worn on the head. The shape retaining element is arranged in position on the side of an inner surface or an outer surface of the wig base (11). When the shape retaining element is deformed into a corrugated configuration due to several uses, the shape retaining element is heated to a temperature equal to or higher than the transformation temperature, whereby the shape retaining element is restored to a beforehand stored shape. Thus, the wig can repeatedly be worn under new condition.Type: GrantFiled: June 21, 1989Date of Patent: August 21, 1990Assignee: Aderans Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yukimichi Nakamura, Ryuji Teratoko

Patent number: 4817641Abstract: A wig base which is in strict agreement with the shape of the head of a person who wears it and which is not deformed even after used for many years, and a method of producing the same. To produce the wig base, a net member which constitutes the whole or part of the wig base is brought into substantial agreement with the shape of the head of a person who wears it, resin is applied onto the filaments forming the net and onto the intersecting points and peripheries thereof to temporarily mold the wig base, followed by adhesion of the intersection points of the filaments by welding.Type: GrantFiled: June 1, 1988Date of Patent: April 4, 1989Assignee: Aderans Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hisao Kobayashi, Kosuke Mochizuki

Patent number: 4799502Abstract: A wig or hairpiece comprising a wig base formed by a network having a convexly curved surface corresponding to the counter of a user's head, and hairs planted over the entire convexly curved surface of the network. The wig base is formed in a zigzag fashion at its front edge portion which corresponds to a hairline at the user's forehead. The wig base is stitched at a location slightly inside its front edge portion by a filament.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 1986Date of Patent: January 24, 1989Assignee: Aderans Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hisao Kobayashi, Kousuke Mochizuki
