  • Patent number: 10500984
Abstract: A reduction gear includes a housing (210) and gear stages with an externally toothed first gear wheel (240), and an internally toothed second gear wheel (260), meshing with the first gear wheel, and rotationally fixed to an output (270). The first gear wheel is moved circularly by an eccentric (226). A torque support disc prevents the first gear wheel rotating relative to the housing. The first gear wheel has a guide pin which engages in a guide groove of the torque support disc, or the torque support disc has a guide pin, which engages in a guide groove of the first gear wheel. The first gear wheel has a base body with a cam or the torque support disc has a base part with a cam which projects in the axial direction and contacts the torque support disc whereby the guide pin does not completely engage in the guide groove.

  • Patent number: 10493873
Abstract: A hardware system, for a vehicle seat, includes a fitting (10) having a first fitting part (11) and a second fitting part (12), which can be locked to one another and can rotate in relation to one another about an axis (A), a transmission rod (7) and a hand lever (5), the actuation of which rotates the transmission rod (7). The fitting is unlocked via a rotation of the transmission rod against a total characteristic torque (Moverall), produced from a sum of a first characteristic torque (M35), generated by a spring assembly (35), and a second characteristic torque (M61), generated by spiral springs (61). A first component (63) is rotationally fixed to the transmission rod and a second component (64) moves relative thereto during unlocking. The spiral springs (61) act between the first component (63) and the second component (64). A vehicle seat is provided having the hardware system.

Abstract: Reclining seat mounted on a foundation through first and second slides. The seat cushion is mounted on the first slide, and the seat back is mounted on the second slide. The slides, the seat cushion and the seat back are arranged to move together as one unit to have the seat recline. A head restraint is mounted at a top side of the seat back to follow and move with the back during movement of the back. The second slide has a non-linear curved shape to rotate the head restraint when the seat back moves. The curved shape rotates the headrest in a backward and downward direction when the seat back moves downward and the seat cushion moves forward, and vice versa. From the different seat positions, the head restraint follows the motion of the occupant as they move to the different seat positions.
