  • Patent number: 7668626
Abstract: An operation machine displays a received image on a monitor to enable an operator to remotely control a moving unit such as a model car and robotic arms through the image provided through a network by a camera on the unit and displayed on the monitor. Plotting of the received image on the monitor is conducted at predetermined intervals in plotting timing. The plotted image becomes a predicted image subjected to a time delay process. The moving unit carrying the camera is disposed in a remote area, and connected to a personal computer through the Internet to transmit motion pictures to the computer. At this time, a fluctuation correction is made to data of the motion pictures to provide a method of displaying a natural image. The method is employed in a moving unit's remote control system enabling an operator to enjoy a precise remote control of the unit.

  • Patent number: 7609974
Abstract: An optical transmitter generates a transmission signal having a frame as a unit, the frame including a signal pilot signal with fixed amplitude and phase and two data bits to output the generated signal into a transmission line. In a receiver, a splitter splits the signal light from the transmission line. An optical delay delays the signal light for a 1-bit period. A first combiner combines the signal light from the transmission line and the output signal light from the optical delay. A photodetector converts the combined light into an electrical signal. A 3-bit optical delay, a second combiner, a BPF, and an oscillator generate a frame-timing signal. A gate separates a data from the output from the photodetector under the control of a gate control unit. A binary discriminator binary-discriminates the output signal from the gate.

  • Patent number: 7577119
Abstract: A data communication method and apparatus for a mobile network. A destination foreign agent (FA2) recognizes a MAC address of an MN. The FA2 registers the MAC address of the MN in a handoff request message (FHReq), and the FA2 feeds the FHReq onto a transfer network. Each of foreign agents (FAs) receives the FHReq, registers an IP address corresponding to the MAC address in the FHReq when the MAC address is registered in a binding list of the FAs themselves, and feeds the IP address onto the transfer network. The FA2 receives the FHReq, and temporarily registers the MAC address and the IP address in the binding list of the FA2 itself. The FA2 transfers data sent from a homw agent (HA) to the MN, based on the information which has been temporarily registered.
