Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate generally to application ecosystems and, more particularly, to navigational and executional operations in an application ecosystem. In embodiments, a method includes: receiving, by a computing device, a natural language request input by a user to perform a task in an application ecosystem of a plurality of applications; determining, by the computing device, an actionable task from the natural language request to perform in the application ecosystem; generating, by the computing device, a user interface screen to perform the task with input parameters required to perform the task populated in elements of the user interface screen derived from the natural language request; and performing the task with the input parameters required in the application ecosystem of the plurality of applications.

Abstract: A system, method implemented on a computer system, and computer program product for generating an expression. A graphical representation of the expression comprising criteria blocks and logical operator blocks is displayed on a user interface. Each of the criteria blocks includes criteria information defining a criteria, an edit block control element, and a delete block control element. A user interface to receive changes to the criteria information for a selected criteria block is displayed in response to selecting the edit block control element for the selected criteria block. The selected criteria block is deleted from the expression in response to selecting the delete block control element for the selected criteria block. A building block may be used to define criteria for criteria blocks in several expressions. Criteria for expressions defined using a building block are changed automatically in response to changes to the building block.

Abstract: A method and apparatus visualizing compensation adjustments for employees of organization. A computer system identifies a number of merit groups for a group of employees based on employee evaluation for employees in the group of employees. The computer system identifies a number of compensation adjustment parameters. The computer system applies the number of compensation adjustment parameters to a compensation distribution of the group of employees to determine a compensation adjustment for each merit group. The computer system determines impact of the compensation adjustment on the compensation distribution of the group of employees. The computer system displays the impact of the compensation adjustment in a compensation adjustment scenario.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for visually presenting a hierarchical organization for an entity. A tree structure that represents the hierarchical organization for the entity is displayed by a computer system in a graphical user interface on a display system. A sequence of user inputs is received by a computer system through the graphical user interface. A plurality of levels of the tree structure in the graphical user interface is transformed, by the computer system, based on the sequence of user inputs such that a series of direct linkages from a topmost level of the plurality of levels to a bottommost level of the plurality of levels is aligned with a vertical alignment axis.

Abstract: A method, computer system, and computer program manage revisions in a document. The document is displayed in a graphical user interface. The document comprises a structured data object composed from a set of tiles, wherein each tile corresponds to one or more data nodes. The tiles are composable according to a domain-specific language of an integrated development environment. One or more revisions to the structured data object are received in sequence. The revisions to each data node of the set of tiles composing the structured data object are independently managed, enabling each revision to be independently reverted to a prior state irrespective of the sequence and revisions to other data nodes of the set of tiles and without reverting the other data nodes of the structured data object to their prior state.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to computer systems and, more particularly, to a cache refresh system and related processes and methods of use. The method of refreshing data in cache memory includes: setting, by a computer system, a refresh indicator to “true”; refreshing data in the cache memory, by the computer system, upon a determination that the refresh indicator is set to “true”; and setting, by the computer system, the refresh indicator to “false” after the refreshing of the cache memory.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for using graph theory to identify conflicts of interests between entities. A system can receive first data from a first entity, the first data identifying relationships associated with the first entity, as well as second data from a second entity, the second data identifying relationships associated with the second entity. The system can also receive information about the first and second entity being competitors, and using the first data, second data, and competitor data, construct a knowledge graph regarding the relationships between the entities. The system can then analyze the graph model, resulting in a subset of the graph model which identifies any competitive relationships. This subset can then be output to the first and/or second entity.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product are provided for generating an external payroll policy for a payroll system. A legacy schema is identified for execution by a legacy payroll system. A set of functions and rules is identified within a processing flow of the legacy schema. The external payroll policy is generated in a selected format type, according to a processing flow of the functions and rules that were identified within the legacy schema.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for matching job seekers to job postings are provided. The computer-implemented method, system and computer program product provide a board in which job seekers and employers may post messages. The messages from the employers may include employer profiles, job postings etc. The employers may use a set of structured words in submitting the messages. The messages from the job seekers include the job seekers' profiles. The job seekers may use the same set of structured words used by the employers to generate and submit their profiles. Accordingly, the computer-implemented method, system and computer program product use the structured words in the job postings and/or employer profile and the job seekers' profiles to match job seekers to job postings.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, and computer program code for accessing data using a dynamic API. A computer system receives, from a requesting service, a request to access data contained in one or more data sets organized into a set of domains. The request is received according to a target schema of the requesting service. The computer system identifies an endpoint configuration for a domain that provides access to the data that was requested. The endpoint configuration is generated from an API description describing the target schema that is published by the domain. The computer system decorates the endpoint configuration with additional information identified from metadata documents corresponding to the data set. The A computer system translates the request into a common schema, and retrieving the data from the domain according to the common schema.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer program code for determining a tax incentive for an employer. A set of cards is displayed on the storyboard interface. Each card is related to a particular criterion for determining and eligibility of the employer for the tax incentive. In response to receiving a selection of a particular card, a set of modal windows, including a set of data fields that are relevant to a particular criterion, is displayed on the storyboard interface. Information for the employer is identified that is relevant to the particular criterion. The set of data fields it is populated based on a portion of the information. A tax incentive amount is calculated based on the portion of the information. A document it is generated for claiming the tax incentive. The document includes the portion of the employer information and the incentive amount.

Abstract: Career coaching comprising defining a number of employment positions, wherein each employment position comprises a number of required skills. Relationships between the employment positions are modeled, wherein the model maps potential transitions between employment positions according to similarities of required skills. A number of persons who have occupied the employment positions are modeled according to skills, employment history, and job performance. A user provides user data that comprises skills, employment history, and job performance. The user data is compared to the modeled persons, and a number of potential employment opportunities from among the number of employment positions are matched to the user based on similarities between the user and the modeled persons. The potential employment opportunities are then displayed to the user on a graphical user interface.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, and computer program code for automatic data retrieval and validation. A computer system generates an audit file including a set of data objects. The computer system validates the data objects with a compliance policy by deploying a set of software bots to interact at a user level with a set of application programs. In response to validating the data objects, the computer system reflects validation results into a user interface.

Abstract: A method of latent intent clustering is provided. The method comprises encoding identified features in a number of electronic user reports in a database. A binary matrix is created, wherein each row of the binary matric represents a different report and each column represents a different available feature. A 1 is placed in each cell of the matrix that matches a feature present in a user report. Cosine similarities are calculated for the user reports, and a similarity matrix is created, wherein each row and column of the binary matrix represents a different report, and wherein the cosine similarities of the reports are placed in corresponding cells of the matrix. The reports are clustered according to the cosine similarities. Features common to reports in each cluster are identified, and an intent of each report cluster is labeled according to the common features.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, and computer program code for onboarding client information for provisioning multiple software services. On a first page of the graphical user interface, client location data is received in a consolidated manner for the multiple services. Within the first page of the graphical user interface, each of the multiple software services is configured using a plurality of guided question. The client location data is organized according to Federal Employer Identification Number. Groups of client location data, organized per FEIN, are displayed on a second page of the graphical user interface, providing an easier onboarding process that reduces no-starts and enables a client to onboard services more quickly and accurately.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, and computer program code for performing a human resource operation using a context-independent conversational flow. The computer system receives an intended human resource operation from an application executing on a user device, identifies the context-independent conversational flow for performing an intended human resource operation, and calls a structured data object according to the context-independent conversational flow. The computer system interprets the structured data object to produce a business rule output, and generates a context-independent response from the business rule output. The computer system transforms the context-independent response according to a user context to produce a context-specific response, and forwards the context-specific response to a user device for display within a conversational user interface of an application.
