Abstract: Firing preventing and stoppage apparatus for remotely operated automatic weapon such as installable in RCWS (Remotely Controlled Weapon Station), that comprises a barrier component and an actuator connected to the barrier component, wherein the barrier component is suited to movement through a cartridges ejection port from an automatic weapon, to a movement path of the breech block of the weapon, for preventing in advance or stoppage of runaway firing from it, and outwards from it in a manner that enables firing, an RCWS equipped with such apparatus and a method for preventing and stopping runaway firing of automatic weapons that are mountable in an RCWS and comprises a breech block and a cartridges ejection port that is implemented in such apparatus.
Abstract: Sensors, devices, apparatus, systems and methods for replacing microlens arrays with one or more switchable diffractive waveplate microlens arrays for providing measurements of wavefronts and intensity distribution in light beams with high spatial resolution with a single optical radiation sensor. The device acts like a conventional Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor when the microlens array elements are in focusing state, and the device performs light beam intensity profile characterization acting as a beam profiler when the optical power of lens array elements is switched off.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method of fabricating an integrated circuit structure includes selecting a first cell from a standard cell library, the first cell having a cell boundary and comprising a metal segment at a first metal track at a metal layer, the metal segment extending along a direction and terminating a specified distance beyond a first edge of the cell boundary. Abstract: Provided are a zirconium oxide composite ceramic and a preparation method therefor. The zirconium oxide composite ceramic comprises by mass percentage: 65% to 80% of a zirconium oxide matrix, 10% to 30% of a conductive material, and 2% to 11% of a nano-reinforcing material. The conductive material is selected from at least one of a non-ferrous metal oxide, a white metal oxide, a compound having a perovskite structure and a compound having a spinel structure. The zirconium oxide composite ceramic has excellent antistatic properties and high mechanical properties.
Abstract: Techniques for removing reset indices from, and identifying primitives in, an index stream that defines a set of primitives to be rendered, are disclosed. The index stream may be specified by an application program executing on the central processing unit. The technique involves classifying the primitive topology for the index stream as either requiring an offset-based technique or requiring a non-offset-based technique. This classification is done by determining whether, according to the primitive topology, each subsequent index can form a primitive with prior indices (e.g., line strip, triangle strip). If each subsequent index can form a primitive with prior indices, then the technique used is the non-offset-based technique. If each subsequent index does not form a primitive with prior indices, but instead at least two indices are required to form a new primitive (e.g., line list, triangle list), then the technique used is the offset-based technique.

Abstract: A method for controlling a pressure inside a fuel tank system an board a vehicle is provided. Abstract: A method of rebuilding a pressure control solenoid includes uncrimping a housing of the solenoid, and disassembling the solenoid. An original spool valve of the solenoid is removed from a hydraulic bore of the solenoid. The hydraulic bore is reamed such that an inner diameter of the bore is enlarged. Abstract: A power supply system and related method for providing a regulated DC output from an unregulated AC input includes a Vienna rectifier having power factor correction circuitry and a series resonant DC to DC converter to provide a regulated DC output. The power supply system further includes one or more compensator circuits coupled in feedback configuration to control the Vienna rectifier and/or the DC to DC converter and avoid a potentially dangerous over-voltage condition at the regulated DC output.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for the regeneration of nerves comprising Vax protein as an active ingredient. Vax1 is secreted in the ventral hypothalamus (vHT) explant separated from a mouse. The secreted Vax1 combines with extracellular sugar group of heparan sulfate proteoglycans (HSPGs) existing in retinal ganglion cell (RGC) axon of the retinal explant co-cultured so as for the complex invades into axonplasm. Then, the Vax1 conjugated with the sugar group activates the local protein synthesis to accelerate the growth of retinal ganglion cell axon. In some embodiments, Vax protein or a nucleic acid encoding the protein, can be used in a pharmaceutical composition for the regeneration of nerves.
