Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products are provided for minimizing latency in a implementation where a peripheral device is used as a capture device and a compute device such as a GPU processes the captured data in a computing environment. In embodiments, a peripheral device and GPU are tightly integrated and communicate at a hardware/firmware level. Peripheral device firmware can determine and store compute instructions specifically for the GPU, in a command queue. The compute instructions in the command queue are understood and consumed by firmware of the GPU. The compute instructions include but are not limited to generating low latency visual feedback for presentation to a display screen, and detecting the presence of gestures to be converted to OS messages that can be utilized by any application.
Abstract: This invention relates to an apparatus for forming a helical screw flight from a flight blank. The apparatus includes a base and an engaging means. The engaging means is movably mounted to the base and is configured to formingly engage the blank so as to form a twist in at least a portion of the flight blank corresponding to a predetermined pitch of the flight.
Abstract: Pointing and positioning system of light beams and images including a plurality of cycloidal diffractive waveplates, each waveplate capable of deviating a generally broadband light beam over a predetermined angle. The lateral translation and deviation angles of the light beams are controlled by controlling the relative distance, rotational position, and the diffractive efficiency of a least one in the plurality of waveplates.

Abstract: This disclosure describes a non-dissipative snubber circuit configured to boost a voltage applied to a load after the load's impedance rises rapidly. The voltage boost can thereby cause more rapid current ramping after a decrease in power delivery to the load which results from the load impedance rise. In particular, the snubber can comprise a combination of a unidirectional switch, a voltage multiplier, and a current limiter. In some cases, these components can be a diode, voltage doubler, and an inductor, respectively.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a food packaging material for packing food, more particularly to a food packaging material having a uniform coating of oil, a method of manufacturing the same, and a mold for manufacturing the same. The food packaging material includes a plurality of grooves formed on one surface of the food packaging material; and an oil layer uniformly applied to the one surface of the food packaging material, being put into the grooves. According to the present invention, there are provided a food packaging material which continuously maintains a uniform coating of oil and thus minimizes sticking of contents to a surface of the packaging material, a method of manufacturing the same, and a mold for manufacturing the same.

In this configuration, the cochlear implant circuitry and the implantable sound processor may communicate one with another by way of a wired connection.
